No not really because no matter what the first team of the first day of the final would have gotten a five minute head start . so it really didnt matter how long leroy and theresa took swimming because jay and jenna were going to quit . so they didnt have to worry about being third .... they could have made laps in the water and still only been 5 minutes behid sarah and jordan day 2......... just look at rivals 1 final. kenney and wes finished like hours before johnny and tyler day 1 . But only had like a 2 minute headstart or something day 2 .

they made up over 20 minutes when they got on foot according to sarah which shows that they had a much better pace on foot. if leroy could have somewhat kept up during the swim then they could have gotten the first place position the first day with their superior running pace

zach had issues with the high elevation because of his body type. theresa has done high elevation endurance before and is isnt anymore muscular than nany. there isnt any proof that she would struggle with it outside of the incorrect thinking that shes physically related to zach. all we know is that she beat nany in the swamp by an appreciable margin.
also there really isnt much proof that demonstrates that laurel > theresa, especially significantly, in a final. theyve never done a high endurance course against one another and the only connection you can make between the two of them is how they have performed relative to nany in which case that would show that they are a lot more even matched than you suggest. to say that laurel would absolutely and completely win against theresa in a final that is heavy on endurance doesnt really have a solid base of proof but just goes off the myth that laurel is some unstoppable machine in FINALS because shes great in missions and elimination rounds. laurel being better than theresa in other things doesnt mean she would be better in an endurance related final where there isnt much heavy lifting involved

I don't think they would have seen as many eliminations honestly. They wouldn't have come in last and been in Bananas alliance. With no Wes there (unless he had another partner) they would have skated close towards the end probably only seeing one elimination and making a final losing to either Jordan/Sarah or Bananas/Nany or both. If she did see those eliminations I think she would have done well because she's tall too and I think has more gas in the tank than Nia so she would have done well in Strung Out and Hooking Up.
