It was hard to watch Donnell and Cara berate Abe during that season. If I remembered correctly he was sheltered but never went out of his way to be an ******* but they constantly got on him and spoke down to him like a child. He seemed to genuinely try to talk to them and try to work out their differences as well but got brushed off a lot especially by Donnell. Not surprised he got tired of it and fought with Donnell. He was just so insecure and jealous of abe that he had to continuesly try to bring him down to his level. Also not surprised that he turned on Cara so quick to save his own ***. He was a real POS and I usually don't say that about a lot of people on these shows but Donnell certainly was. Also sad how the girls protected Donnell after that fight. It was wrong for Abe to get physical but how could they not see it coming due to Donnell's behavior towards him?
I have always felt the same way about this. Donnell was not a nice person and to this day, I cannot see why anyone liked him.
Having traveled the Phillipines it be a great country for them to do, so cheap, lots to see, lots of adventure and excitingly voliate in terms of both the weather and the people.

I was always a casual Real World / Road Rules watcher...I'd watch random full seasons then skip a few, but I've been die hard challenge fan since the original Battle of the Sexes

ive only seen the last 4 seasons and i enjoyed them. they produced some of my favorite challenge castmembers: darrel, derrick, abram, cara, rachel, kina, jillian, jodi, etc. ive always felt patrick from xtreme and eric from campus crawl would of been solid in challenges. does anyone know why we only saw eric once and we never saw patrick in challenges? also kendall, she did well in the inferno.

And Patrick didn't like he edit he got on X-TREME so he never did a challenge(I read on another site that he was slated to be on Battle of the Sexes 2 but he backed out because he didn't like his edit on his season so they replaced him with Shawn(Sememester at Sea). Shame because I felt he would've been a good competitor.)
And with Kendall...I know she was an alternate for The Island that was never used but other than that I guess she moved on. Not sure if she is interested in challenges now.

True. I mean it's reality TV. They're going to show you in the worst light possible if you give them the footage to do it.
And I remember reading interviews and he was mainly upset with them showing him Kissing Jodi(claiming that he was talking to her and they never kissed but next confessional has Jodi basically saying they did) and ******* Jillian the first few nights all the while he had a girlfriend back home...Well he shouldn't have Kissed Jodi and ****** Jillian. He put himself in the position of the edit he got.
If MTV is trying to get raiting back, they should attempt Road Rules again...it worked back in the day, and if they just forget about that horrible viewers revenge, and try going back to its's roots they may have something there.

I liked xtreme and south pacific a lot.... Viewers revenge was good but it did not feel like a road rules season..
The best were the earlier ones. First adventure, Second Adventure, Europe...
Campus crawl, the quest, and semester at sea were good
down under, northern trail, europe, and latin america were okay
did not really like road rules 1 or 2 the great adventure
islands and maximum velocity tour were awful imo

The first season was amazing and so was the second season...at leat at the time they aired. Both had great casts
Islands just had an awful cast. Never saw Max Velocity so I can't comment though I'm surprised Theo & Holly couldn't make that at least "okay"
