Never realized that the majority of the cast were between the ages of 18-20 and now it's like 22-26.

Being 19, that's why I love watching Road Rules. It's like watching me and my friends go on a road trip together. Especially back then, the show wasn't overproduced and overedited. It was very genuine and it's almost like you're there on the road trip with them.

i remember when they tried get donnel to climb a big *** glacier LOL

the original redd

X-TREME felt like a revolving door at times. So many people got voted off that season it seemed like there was no incentive for the viewer to invest into the cast when it kept changing. South Pacific was way better despite it kinda having the same problem(and it also had better replacments too IMO)

same thing happens in bgc, they say incentive for character investment is lost when when there is such a large rotating cast. I think people would be more ok towards the idea of ratating cast if they would/did promote these shows as a competition as opposed to an "experience"

The thing with South Pacific is that it only had two "official" replacements. Abe getting himself kicked off was why Chris got on, Tina/Jeremy got on through the actual vote-off process.

With X-Treme, all 3 got voted off & Kina/Ibis got voted off back-to-back.

And that is why Road Rules was a better show than The Real World.

I still miss it. Wish it were still on today.

The Real World would be so much better if Road Rules was running concurrently with it , all the gym rats would have made it on RR , granted RR was always more diverse ethnically

Yeah , I remember being shocked but apparently you can be that young and a mayor. He was actually the youngest mayor in America at the time and got in some trouble for appearing on Road Rules lol

I mean he's 23/24 years old. At that same time Monica went down on Bill Clinton whats the problem? And Alison should've at least changed on a side note. i love Road Rules and the blantant sexuality. For a while I wanted Devin/Emily and Kit/Los to hook up those first 2 seasons. Glad it ain't happened.

But to be honest there was like 4 peopl living in that town (exaggerating) I'm surprised the son who seen the show even had a tv

Yooo I'm crying rn I can't live lmaoo. Los was hot  , I'm still mad he didn't do more challenges.

If Los cuts that beard or already did: GAME ON, yo!

Happy 20 Years Road Rules! Wish you were still on today.

About to watch Viewer's Revenge. What the hell were they thinking with the alumni?

Dan and Susie were last minute replacements for Derrick (X-Treme) and Cara (South Pacific).

Dan W  and Jerry were literally the only good things about the pit crew tbh

I disagree they had such eye candy with them. Jerry, Kristen, monte, Angel even ivory was hot aka the low key original theresa. Its a ******* shame mtv can ask all these people they haven't yet but go with the same people for every challenge

That Road Rules cast should've been:

Mark

Derrick

Abe

Theo

Veronica

Jisela

Cara

Tina

Alternates: Susie and Adam

Viewers Revenge, D.C, and Hollywood were robbed when it comes to challenge appearances.

They were great to look at , I'm talking about most of their personalities were cringe worthy.

Dan W. , Jerry , Brianna , Joey , Andrew , Callie , Josh and Mike should have been used way more imho,

No Adam and no Abe and damn well no Theo he's annoyingly pathetic.

They really should have just used the pit crew for that season. I feel like most of them never got utilized because of the former roadies being there.

And yes DC/Hollywood/Viewer's Revegne should've gotten way more challenge representation than those seasons did.

It's a shame Ivory never got onto the RV and thus was ineligible for Challenges. She could have brought so much life to a boring season
