I haven't even started the book yet, but I'll take your word for it. She seems to be good at visualizing the story, but translating it to words isn't her forte. Luckily, Fincher knows what he's doing. And he does it well. Very well.

Side note: I took my sweet *** time, but I finally finished up Fargo. Really enjoyed it. Thanks for the recommendation!

OMG finally haha wasnt it amazingg... it rightfully deserved that best mini-series title... heck I even think it'd beat True Detective personally Blum 3 maybe TD will opt to go for the mini-series categories next year and then we'll see a real show down. haha

It was great. Billy Bob Thorton mortifies me though. Hahaha!

Did you ever finish TD?

International Emmys: UK's 'Utopia' Wins Best Drama Series

Wait until David Fincher & Gillian Flynn get their hands on this series, the UK will be like "Whoa."

I also can't wait for Westworld to slaughter at the Emmys.

Gillian Flynn? oh no... the girl can tell a great story, but oh my god her writing is horrendous... at least in novel form. The Gone Girl movie was much better than the book, so maybe Flynn should just stick with screenwriting.

No way Fargo was better than True Detective, it wasn't even original. I hate predictably haha. But Billy Bob Thornton did do a **** of a job in Fargo.

Predictability? PREDICTABILITY??? There is no way in ****lll you could've predicted Fargo's end... at least not all the ****** up events that lead to it. haha... Fargo is original... it just took a familiar concept and made its own story... similar to what TD did with other detective shows. Told it in a new medium with high profile actors and a proper beginning/middle/end. Fargo was better... imo that is... I feel like there's an ongoing battle between fans of the two shows about which was better of 2014 ****

Okay not all the ****** up parts leading to the ending obviously lol. But the overall story I meant was to similar to the movie for me. On True Detective I never knew what the **** was going to happen, but I did have an early prediction the lawn mower dude was involved somehow.

It really comes down to whether you more enjoyed the philosophical binary oppositions of True Detective, or the dark comedy of Fargo.

While I'm a hardcore True Detective fanboy, I'll admit that Allison Tolman absolutely slayed in Fargo.

My family's been here a long, long time.

One of my all time favorite scenes. Loved that reveal.

The entire season was focused on the struggle between light and darkness... On the job and in one's self. Internally and externally.

An old episode of Rescue Me was playing on Fox earlier. I forgot how much I ****** loved that show!!

Check out this ****** cool short horror film! It's supposed to have been filmed in one continuous shot, even though this writer claims it wasn't.

There's so many of my favorite shows ending soon that I don't know what to do with my life. Sons of Anarchy has like two episodes left, and Parks and Rec, The Mentalist and Mad Men are beginning their final seasons next year. I's such a couch potato.

So many good ones start next year though! You'll live.

I still have True Detective, Game of Thrones, The Americans, Hannibal, The Leftovers, Masters of *** and OITNB to fill the void, plus Westworld it's also coming next year (hopefully). But nothing can compare to the love I feel for the Parks and Rec's cast.

TV Development Season: Networks Bet On Remakes & Medical Dramas

Any movies you guys want to see remade for the small screen?

My mom, who rarely watches TV, was actually saying the other night she'd love to see a remake of the 1985 Ridley Scott film Legend that starred Tom Cruise and Tim Curry... a very odd choice, but I can totally see it. Speaking of fantasy, I always imagined that Warner Bros. would attempt a series based on The Neverending Story.

Just read where Red Band Society was pulled by Fox. A shame, while I haven't watched, it seemed like a great premise and recieved a lot of critical acclaim.

I guess the same day that HBO announced the Westworld pickup, they posted not one, but two vines. The 'some of our creatures have been misbehaving' one, and another that shows a single still from the pilot:

Nothing substantial by any means, but there hasn't been any TV news to talk about lately.

It was a good series but Octavia always gets the shit end of the stick.  Could it have been better, yes. I just don't see how Gotham is going on while this not.

Another tv series that needs to be on the small screen should be Back To The Future.

Good series, "he can no longer shower with us."

Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger & Terence Winter's Rock 'N Roll Drama Picked Up To Series By HBO

**** yeah! All we need now is the title!

**** this show lol! It is the whole reason they only did 5 seasons of Board Walk Empire.

'Preacher' TV Show: Comic Book Gets Pilot Order From AMC

Finally.

I thought they were never going to get started on this. Hopefully Seth Rogen and crew deliver and it gets picked up to series.

Preacher is about Jesse Custer, a conflicted Preacher in a small Texas town who merges with a creature that has escaped from heaven and develops the ability to make anyone do anything he says. Along with his ex-girlfriend, Tulip, and an Irish vampire named Cassidy, the three embark on a journey to literally find God.

Aaron Jakubenko Joins MTV's 'Shannara'

He's kind of hot.

3 more lead roles to fill. I'm interested to see who gets the second female slot, hopefully a sultry latina, Francia Raisa maybe? Though... I have seen a lot of regular *** white girls vying for the role on Vimeo...

I just had to announce how excited I am for the winter finale of OUAT!

I was kind of over Frozen but her death was sad.
