This post written by one of CT's friends is a beautiful sentiment of their love.

Well, to end the debate this 2 people know Chris not his TV personal CT in a personal level they confirm him/Diem were together:

Glad to see both of those posts.  Johnny Hickey also posted on FB (not visible if you were not his friend) where he called Diem the love and goodness in CT's life.  They have been together since Rivals II ended.  WIth all of the hate she got after that show (on here and other places), can you blame her/them for choosing to keep their renewed relationship private?   Remember. she was getting death threats from someone who knew where she lived for God's sake!! For those of us who were fans of hers on the show and in her life's work, I am glad they found their way back to each other and so happy that her dream of a family, a husband and a white picket fence was always with Chris Tamburello in the picture.  Hickey also asked that people not post a gazillion things to CT but leave him alone so he can heal.  The poor man (my words) lost his brother and the love of his life.  His grief must be immeasurable.

Well said.

I still remember when he played her by saying she wanted a "career" first on G3 AND her walk away was Angela Bassett/WTE fire-in-the-trash-can-worthy

So true!  One for the ages.

I actually contacted BMP on twitter because i would really love if they did like a pedro type movie for diem just as like a tribute to her and so us fans and viewers can see how much fight she really had in her and see her whole process

I care about that Diem and CT were together because he is getting ALOT of heat on social media for not being with her and by her side. (Haven't people seen the article MTV posted about him being next to her?) I can't imagine losing the love of my life, being next to her for the majority of this, and getting called names on social media for not doing things he actually did. But they chose to keep that private, so like Karisa said that's the fall out of it. I just hope he stays far away from social media for a long time because he doesn't need any of that. Thankfully he hasn't been all about social media in the first place. Poor guy. Her poor family. Her friends Sad

I'm not sure what the big deal is about Johnny posting other tweets that are unrelated to Diem? He posted a really beautiful post IMO and it's very clear they were very close and she meant a lot to him. Everybody grieves in their own way. Plus, as far as the last couple weeks, maybe he didn't want to continuosly post updates or prayers for her or whatever. There's no rule that you need to post your thoughts on social media, especially about an ill friend/friend who passed away. And just because he's a television personality doesn't mean he owes anybody anything. I think helping Diem out privately and not posting about it shows more than being all vocal about it. Just my opinion.

(I haven't actually looked at his Twitter though, so I have no idea what his tweets actually say.)

THIS

Exactly. The people who are closest to her have posted the least about her because they don't need to make it public about what their friend was going through.

Well, to end the debate this 2 people know Chris not his TV personal CT in a personal level they confirm him/Diem were together:

Awww. I'm so worried about CT. They had a beautiful love. Thank you CT/Diem for showing everyone what true love really is. He made her really happy and helped her through the biggest battle of her life and I hope he realizes that.

I think it's very sad that there are those that are complaining about the way that other people grieve. Perhaps it is best that those with a problem go about remembering Diem and expressing their sadness in the way that works for them, and allow everyone else to do the same. Those telling off CT for not being public with his relationship or how he feels or Johnny for speaking about things not relating to Diem are cheapening the value that she had to them and that's exceptionally unfair. Odds are that those people didn't know Diem a fraction as well as they did nor do they have any idea of what she meant to them.

Well said <3

Please remember to support Diem's legacy by donating to MedGift: https://www.medgift.com/isupportmedgift

From CT's hairstylist on Instagram  http://instagram.com/p/veGWYywg4z/?modal=true  Says it all!

Couldn't have said it better myself. Sending prayers their way everyday. Still so shocked.

What a sweet picture of them. My heartaches. Im still so upset about this and this picture is part of the reason why. She was so young, she was loved, she was in love, and she had so much more she wanted to accomplish. It breaks me up inside that she will not be able to. She was such a sweet soul. It really is a tragedy.

And CT. Can you imagine getting a second chance with the one person you love just to have them takem from you again. It makes me hurt for him. I really pray that he will be able to deal with the heartache and use what she has taught him as he goes forward in life. It's just all too sad...

Social media is getting out of control.  There were people attcking both Wes and Averey yesterday.  Atleast Friday was kept very positive with beautfiful comments to Diem/about Diem, etc.  As I meantioned yesterday, no one should be attacked for positing a message about Diem.  It is crazy.

Why would people attack Wes? I always thought him and Diem were cool?

These people that are attacking castmembers over Twitter need to stop. People greive in different ways. It's sad that Diem is gone but life goes on. None of the castmembers owe anyone an explanation on anything. They just need to pay their respects and move on. That's it.

Now I gotta admit I wasn't a fan of Diem on these shows but I have always respected her for her fight with Cancer and for all the good she did outside the challenges. If I could point to one Fresh Meater that was likable and strong it would be Diem and I'm as sad as anyone that she's gone. She was loved and gave love and She will be missed tremendously.

I remember a scene on Rivals 2 where she was dancing her heart out in a nightclub. I think that's the best way to remember her in my mind. Her Smiling and Dancing away.

On your side, Karisa, 100%.  I cannot believe the nonesense.

I Tweeted this this afternoon:  Great to see so many of 's friends posting their photos and remembrances of his love for and hers for him.

I couldn't stand the Chris Tamburello bashing one more minute.  Wes Bergman and Avery have been nothing but kind in their remarks.  Nany's and Cooke's comments on Instagram were heartfelt expressions as have Jemmye's on Twitter.  The one thing we all knew about Diem is that she was quick to forgive and quick to embrace her Challenge castmates no matter what.  She was the kind of person who uplifted you, who gave you a reinforcement when you needed.  If you haven't been following Aneesa's posts, you will marvel at what she shared about what Diem did for her.

I'm going to continue to Tweet and post on Facebook what I can to support her memory, her love, and MedGift.  Hope you will join me doing that, too. xo

Why would people attack Wes? I always thought him and Diem were cool?

They were. Diem was like a sister to Wes and he is taking the loss of her very hard so I don't understand why people are attacking him. This is about Diem not attacking cast members when they don't have a single idea what they are going through. So disrespectful.

Karisa, social media has long been out of control.  This kind of stuff happened even in the early Myspace.com days.  Twitter has simply made it easier for some people to spew their hatred on a wider scale.  Frankly, I've always advised cast members to avoid exchanges with such people since their "fans" do a more than adequate job of collectively lashing out at the hate.  I'm sure those who wrote nasty, unthoughtful messages were busy blocking people who let them know of their untimely insensitivity.

Perhaps my circle of friends is small, but I've not seen negative reaction to Wes' tweets.  I know he was special to Diem.  She occasionally asked me how his businesses were doing.  My impression is that she didn't want to embarrass him by asking him herself.  Wes is a good guy with a very big heart.

My immediate reaction to Knight's tweet was that he was not at all aware of the impact that Diem had on viewers and, perhaps more importantly, on people who never watched the show but were impacted by Medgift or the work she did for other charities.   I doubt he was aware that Diem had serious friendships with hundreds of people which she developed outside of the Challenges. She regularly communicated via email, facebook, phone, text and twitter.  He probably was also not aware the MTV.com reached out to nearly all of the RW/Road Rules/Challenge family asking them to contribute comments for their website.  Some who didn't know Diem all that well still felt they should say something because even if you didn't know her well or had been on the wrong side of her on some challenge, you knew her impact was great.  Even someone like Cooke (who may have been one intended focus of Knight's ire) still felt the impact of Diem's loss and wanted to express her sympathy.   That is what grown ups do.  Some things transcent the petty, and I'm glad someone close to Knight prevailed upon him to remove the comment.  There were also a few cast members who have saved their thoughts for the privacy or Diem's family are very close friends.

Frankly, I'm a bit aghast at the reaction to Nany and Avery.   I know Diem thought very fondly of them both.   I recall Diem chiding me for telling her back in 2010 that Nany was the most naturally photogenic Challenge cast member since Mallory (Paris).   She wanted to know what she could do do win me over.

I think it is a great tribute that so many people have wanted to comment on the impact Diem had on their lives, or who posted about how much they enjoyed watching her on the Challenges.  Their positive comments will help her family grieve while being surrounded with such a surprising amount of love from people they've never met.

I'd like to thank you and the other moderators for how wonderfully all of you and Bacchus have treated Diem's illness and her passing in this and other previous threads.

Nice post V1man, thank you for that.

Great post Smile Always good to hear your insight!

I saw someone attack Avery for supporting Wes, they said something like "shut up you didnt know Diem".... which I dont get cause I dont know DIem either and I was still sad, some people are just stupid. I dont know why ppl would hate on Wes though or I havent seen negative tweets in the convos, he seemed to have taken it pretty hard. And it was pretty obvious by how Diem and him talked about each other that they loved eachother, Diem called him her brother so I dont see why ppl would hate on him for being sad or whatever. Johnny I can see the frustration since they were also close, ppl grieve in different ways.

lol I did laugh at the tweet scotter tweeted to Wes when he was saying he's heartbroken and wants to call scooter and jemmye to cry, he was like tears wont do, go put on a mini skirt and flip your hair around and dance lol oh Diem

I think Diem's funeral is maybe at the begining of the week. Diem's friend Jonnamp tagged Diem's name in a photo from a Delta Airline Terminal. She hashtagged NYC, Overwhelmed, and DiemStrong. Diem's other friend HairbySherri responded "See you soon"

Sad

I did too. That was some really sweet tweets from all three of them.

Even the Miz tweeted about Diem's great accomplishments on this Earth. Thats awesome.

Thank you for your post, V1Man.

It's interesting to hear that BMP/MTV have contacted many cast members for memories of Diem. I'll admit, I do selfishly want to hear from some other cast members who were close to Diem, or at least were at some point. People like Derrick, Kina, Jodi, Evan, Kenny, Casey, Ev, Kim, Aneesa, etc. Not that any of those people owe me or anybody else anything, but I've just really enjoyed readings everybody's tributes and memories.

Thank you for your post, V1Man.

I'd definately like to see what Derrick would say. Everyones post from the casts have been really sweet and beautiful to read.

and if you are referring to Kim from Hollywood, she posted something on instagram.

Lol I like to remember the scene in the Duel where she is dancing with CT and he is wearing one of her wigs looking like a Kid Rock wannabe.
