so far anna gunn, moira-walley becket (writing for oxymandias.. one of the BEST episodes)and aaron paul won for BB. Vince gilligan lost in direction.
Usually drama is the last one to be handed out :)

I'm glad Aaron Paul won, but Peter Dinklage was INCREDIBLE in GOT this year.

Haha! But seriously, I think GOT is the same way, it's not for everyone. But, once you get into it, you can't stop! There are so many episodes that leave you speechless. The books are great as well!

YES IT WAS THAT GOOD. My all time favorite series ever.
The one thing I loved about Breaking Bad (and others) is that it went out on its own. It didn't go off air bc it was cancelled, but because the show runners (vince Gilligan) was like, "okay, after 5 seasons, we're going to finish. We're going to plan for 5 seasons." so it went out on a high

Exactly! There's no reason for overkill. I'd rather plan out 3-5 solid, cohesive seasons than wait for a renewal and churn out a piece of garbage! It's not fair to the audience who deserves a worthwhile sense of closure :)

The OC, One tree hill, Popular, 7th Heaven... all shows that overstayed their welcome and should've been cancelled a season prior.
ESPECIALLY the oc- should've just ended it after graduation- and misha wanted to leave. have them all be happy and merry and then do the exact same flash forward.. with marissa in the future as summers maid of honour or something.

I'm sorry.. Popular overstayed it's welcome?... there's the door. You can leave now :P
Popular was one of the best shows ever... it was just wayyy before its time imo... more like cancelled too soon!! lol I still go back and binge watch both seasons every now and then.. pure genius!!

To be fair, only 1.9 million watched the season 4 finale and that was up 23% from the previous ratings record. 10.3 million tuned in for the series finale, which broke the previous high of 6.6 million the week earlier. Basically, it had a big bandwagon coming across the finish line - but for years it barely hung on. Heck, Big Brother pulled in 7.24 million viewers Sunday which is more than any other episode of BB besides the finale!
Long story short: It is a show with a cult following that got popular during the last few weeks of its run.
Much like mitch, I was enthusiastic out of the gate, but I jumped ship after season 2. I wanted to like it, but it wasn't for me.

Should've phrased the better (or not put it in that category)
Popular should've been notified or someone should've let them know before or part way through it was the last season because the ending was a cliffhanger. It definitely did not overstay its welcome but them not finding out it was cancelled till after the season finale made for an ending that I wish was tied up more nicely.
Another one which is supposed to be amazing is Orange is the new black. I don't have Netflix which is why I never started, but it's another I want to eventually watch

It's amazing! I was super hesitant at first just based on the premise, but I love it!

I really don't know how to feel about this...
It was insane!
I think the show should finish after the next two seasons. Seriously.
(but yes, it was insane! I don't get why any of them don't just move -.- Well I guess hopefully they will for college/uni)

Popular was way before it's time. It's still extremely relevant. The show dealt with everything from bullying to eating disorders which is prevelant now more than ever.
I originally started watching because the main actresses were extremely hot, which they still are.
They even wrote a season 3 script. I always thought Carly Pope (the brunette) was hotter than Leslie Bibb (the blonde!)
