Greatest Challenge Performance Ever
I agree with that. Ruthie was the MVP of that season. She either won the mission for the girls or was always near the top. When she climbed that ladder in around 30 secs, holding her breath, dead man's drop, and winning the car for the ladies. If they had Emily for the final mission, I think they would have won. I think Ruthie in that season had arguably top 2 female performance. Evelyn during Rivals I is another one. She honestly could have won that season by herself. I miss Ev :(
Ruthie shocked the heck out of me on pretty much all of the missions. Emily was pretty dang good herself. I think it's too bad Ev isn't interested in coming back. She was one of my favorites. Good on her for her career and goals though.

That field of study is saturated as ****.

She is taking the correct path to become successful and I honestly don't see her failing. Very happy for her, yet I still think she's overrated. I'm prepared to be attacked for my opinion.

I'm prepared to be attacked for my opinion.
I think the biggest knock against Evelyn as a competitor is the mentality that she approaches the game with. She's easily one of the best athletes on the show, and is clearly highly intelligent, but I think that created some sense of entitlement that hasn't served her very well. If you look at her track record any time she felt like she wasn't in control or things weren't going her way, she's had a breakdown (Ruins, Inferno 3, parts of the Island). I think there's something to be said for keeping composure and troubleshooting when things aren't going your way, and that wasn't something she seemed to have mastered on the shows. I anticipate being swooped in on and told how wrong I am about Evelyn, so I'll just say that I'm a fan of Evelyn's...but no one plays the game perfectly and I see that as her only issue.
I love Evelyn, but this is very true. I usually chalk this up to her age, I sometimes she did these shows from the age of 18-23. She was still a kid, see her temper tantrums on Inferno 3. Her stats probably don't indicate that she is the best, but her intensity, final performances, etc. put her at #1. Love Laurel, but the fact that it was even close on the final part of the final is something Ev woukd have killed.
Since she wants to become a lawyer I think she needs all the luck she can get. That field of study is saturated as hell.
I read an interview with her from her school. Seems like she's doing really well and hopefully she can score a job when she's done. I really loved her on the shows and think she would kill it in a lot of these challenges. I still remember when she destroyed Laurel in a wrestling match. It wasn't apart of the main show but it did show it. I think it was on Fresh Meat 2. I agree with the comments on her being too emotional but I think it all comes down to her competitive nature. She hates losing. I really didn't like the way she treated Luke on FM2 and was laughing like crazy when TJ called her a 4 year old. That said, I still thought she was a beast and am a little sad that we probably won't see her on another challenge.

sooo, if guy is weaker than a girl, girl is allowed to be mean and nasty towards him? nice
sooo, if guy is weaker than a girl, girl is allowed to be mean and nasty towards him? nice
Most people would be mean and nasty to people who hold them back from a lot of money......
Most people would be mean and nasty to people who hold them back from a lot of money......
That's funny because if she had listened to Luke and did the puzzle with any speed they probably would have won that exile.
That's funny because if she had listened to Luke and did the puzzle with any speed they probably would have won that exile.
They didn't do the puzzle because she knew Landon wouldn't be far behind, you can try and blame her but she carried more weight then him and no doubt he held her back. Luke is not a good competitor.
Even if Luke held her back, that doesn't excuse downright immature, childish, nasty, and rude behavior. There is such a thing as losing with grace.
Even if Luke held her back, that doesn't excuse downright immature, childish, nasty, and rude behavior. Maybe he should have carried his own weight literally and figuratively if he didn't want to be yelled at.
Even if Luke held her back, that doesn't excuse downright immature, childish, nasty, and rude behavior. There is such a thing as losing with grace.
It's a competition for a lot of money. I would have acted much worse than Evelyn had Luke been my partner.
Most people would be mean and nasty to people who hold them back from a lot of money......
Except that the money they're competing for is not that much honestly. I get that some people hate losing but it's not that serious.
Except that the money they're competing for is not that much honestly. I get that some people hate losing but it's not that serious.
100,000 is a lot of money *** are you talking about
100,000 is a lot of money *** are you talking about
Not really. Especially after taxes.
Not really. Especially after taxes.
$100,000 for 6 weeks worth of work is a lot of money. Then you have the rest of the year to attend to your job, club appearances, clothing line, whatever you have going for you to add to this money.
I mean, Debut's really not that wrong on this. It isn't that much money after taxes though the entire point of competition is to want to win. He doesn't see that side.
Maybe not for you but it is for people without high paying jobs
Hey, I fully support the people that decide to make their "living" doing this if they can win consistently but it really isn't that much money...especially for those that finish in 3rd
I never really thought the Challenge had a huge amount of money, I always thought that was BB or Survivor. I just thought the Challenge experience is unique enough to go on.
I never really thought the Challenge had a huge amount of money, I always thought that was BB or Survivor. I do not know nothing about Bb or Survivor but isn't it like a one time thing?

One of the greatest challeng moments for me was watching Sarah win on the gauntlet. i wonder how many ppl actually remember that one lol.
One of the greatest challeng moments for me was watching Sarah win on the gauntlet. i wonder how many ppl actually remember that one lol.
I do. What made it good was her team voting her in so many times and her going in and kicking so much *** in each and every Gauntlet she went in. That was a good ending and good storyline. Too bad we won't likely see anything like that again.

So I just 'liked' it (and unliked it so that I could like it again) about 10 times.
