Darrell should have never gone on The Ruins and Fresh Meat 2. If he had just stayed with his perfect record of 4 wins, he probably would be the best Challenge player ever.
I think CT & Wes's performance on Rivals 2 deserves a lot of credit they both played that whole season boarder line flawlessly they never came in last place on a guys challenge day, they had a great political/social game never once was their names brought up for elimination, they killed the last 2 challenges leading up to the final, and absolutely killed the final challenge.
This isn't really something that falls in the best performances off all time list but I thought Ty's performance on Exes was impressive for a number of reasons. He had a lot of doubters leading up to this challenge who thought he was all talk and no game. Everyone on the pre-game special counted him out and even his own partner was skeptical about his abilities in their opening team interview. He really bounced back that season and proved he belonged. His improvement was most evident in the 3 elimination games he was in.

I'd say Kina for the best girl on the gauntlet 2, considering she didn't quit like Beth did. Also I think Sarah did better then Ashley on seasons because she had a weak team and managed to win 2 elimination rounds and missions.

Agreed. Kina was team captain when Jo left and really stepped up on that challenge

How is Beth on there, quitters aren't the best on any season
How is Beth on there, quitters aren't the best on any season
I'm so tired of people saying this. I understand it's your point of view, but if they perform well the whole season, I am going to give them credit where credit is due. Yes, it sucks they quit and they may be labeled as cowards or whatever (especially Beth on G2), but I'm not going to discount their WHOLE challenge performance just because of that.
As far as playing the game, Evan on the Ruins. The way he manipulated and ran the whole house and a team of champions to the point where he was never in any danger of elimination with 21 people getting sent home of 28. Not to mention he won as well. Really impressive.

I'm not really understanding where the bolded players shined on the challenges you put them on.
LOL
Lol how does their performance not at least rank up there? They politically played the game flawlessly, they were never in any real danger from being voted in. They won the missions when they had too, and they absolutely killed it in the final.

I give credit to their political game and they ran a good final but the way they performed in challenges doesn't scream "best ever" to me. I think Rivals 2 was CT's weakest athletic performance aside from Exes and Wes was at least better on the Ruins (I think his Duel performance is overrated so I wouldn't put that as higher than Rivals 2)...so you can't really call it a best ever when both guys were better on other challenges.

Not my list but...
I don't get Beth either
Susie was better than Paula on I3...probably Cara too even with Cara throwing everything
Kenny was probably the best guy on the Island--IMO...other than Abe but he quit/left earlier. Hard to pick anyone other than Ev for the Island
Ashley and Sarah were both great on Seasons...Ashley just went unnoticed because she never did anything wrong. She carried her on weight the entire time. She'd be the perfect partner in a pair challege
I also believe saying Diem & Cooke were better than Emily on Exes and Rivals 2 is laughable

This^^^^^^
To add to that...they played a solid political game (though CT overplayed his hand early)...they killed the final but they were, at best, average during the missions. No male team stood out. Emily/Paula was by far the best team on that challenge. CT/Wes can't be the best performance ever when they weren't even the best on that season
alot of them should be in the mtv challenges hall of fame like ct coral mike the miz mark timmy brad frank jillian wes kenny paula walnuts evan johnny bannanas darrell sarah jenn robin katie veronica anessa adam tori suzie and syrus

Okay well to me great challenge performances are ones where the person shined the whole show. Not flying under the radar like Ashley supposedly did on Seasons. That does not warrant a great challenge performance. Here are great challenge performances in my opinion.
Sarah- The Gauntlet
CT- The Inferno
Landon- The Inferno II
Derrick and Kina- The Gauntlet 2
Wes and Casey- Fresh Meat
Wes and Jodi- The Duel
No one really shined on The Inferno 3, in my opinion.
Frank and Tori- The Gauntlet III
Johnny and Evelyn- The Island
Evan and Rachel- The Duel 2
Cohutta and Susie- The Ruins
Kenny and Laurel- Fresh Meat II
Tyler- Cutthroat
No one shined more than anyone else on Rivals. Everyone was pretty even.
Ty and Paula- Battle of the Exes
I didn't watch Battle of the Seasons, so I don't know.
Emily and Paula- Rivals II

Why Paula on exes and not Emily or Camilla ?

I like this list minus a couple:
Duel - CT or Evan. Wes, aside from beating Derrick, was statistically a middle of the pack performer until the very end. CT and Evan won or came in second the majority of the challenges and just messed up at the end.
Exes - Johnny...won or came in second in the majority of challenges, won an elimination, had the political game locked up, won the final. Ty would be 2nd for impressive performances.

I don't think a lot of these were "great performances"...you're looking more at storline IMO
Landon > Evan Duel II by a landslide
Cohutta had a couple nice elimination wins but wasn't a great competitor IMO
Exes definitely wasn't Ty and Paula--they were, at best, average...while Ty was carried by Emily IMO
Good decision to skip Seasons IMO--I'd pick Ashley because even though she got no camera time
