I agree, Bananas is underrated here when it comes to his athletic abilities while Theo and Mark are overrated IMO.
Mark is highly underrated by many here as well
Jamie being ahead of Mark is just laughable for anyone that watched G2
Self proclaimed...
Let me just ask your male top 10 with everything into play (politics, etc)
I don't do with politics and final mission wins, they are irrelevant. I won't waste my time doing that list.
I started late watching the challenges but have since watched from fm1 i think. Landon is probably the one ive been most impressed by. But i put Bananas as one of the best ive seen because i have actually seen him win some of the hardest finals, against some really good competitors. That's something i have not get to see alot of great challengers from previous challenges. I can't personally give them the benefit of the doubt that they would have beat Bananas, when i have not seen any of them do a 2 day final.

You don't know anything about old school competitors and their performances.
The stats prove you wrong.
Your stats include irrelevant things like challenge wins, politics and final mission appearances.
Your stats include irrelevant things like challenge wins, politics and final mission appearances.
How are they irrelevant it takes a lot more athletic skill to win finals then it does to win missions.......
How are they irrelevant it takes a lot more athletic skill to win finals then it does to win missions.......
The performances in the final matter, but the win stat doesn't unless that competitor was the sole reason he/or she won. The problem with including challenge wins is luck and circumstances plays a lot into who wins. The best competitors don't always win, for example, CT was the best on the Duel but Wes won, Landon was the best on the Duel 2 but Evan won, and Zach arguably was the best on Free Agents but Johnny won. Also, a lot of challenges are team oriented, not individual, and teams win challenges, not individuals (with the exception of the original Battle of the Seasons which the Miz won for Real World by solving the puzzle).
Is this something you think is irrelevant for you to enjoy watching the challenge or something you find irrelevant in who is the best competitor?
The bolded.
But they were not though, because they would have won then.
No, they were the best performers in the missions overall, but just didn't win the challenge.
Ill agree with you on that. Not sure about your free agents opinion.
Zach was arguably better than Johnny individually, he outperformed him in Piggy Back and Sausage Party, I can't recall a mission in which Johnny outperformed Zach.
Your stats include irrelevant things like challenge wins, politics and final mission appearances.
Wins are relevant...some have less meaning than others but they are relevant
Politics has nothing to do with being a competitor. If we're talking about best player instead of competitor than they are relevant
Final appearances may or may not have meaning--depending on how they got there
Johnny earned every single win...he was solid on I3, solid on the Island (though that season can be thrown out because competition was hard to judge without much to use, if any), again solid on The Ruins, was top 2 on Rivals, was top 2 on Rivals 2, was great on Exes--the best guy there and was arguably the best player on Free Agent
Johnny is one of those people, as much as I hate him, got better and better as time went by. To dismiss that and make the outrageous claim that he's not top 20 is downside laughable and biased. You hate JEK--your rankings show that. Which is fine but if there's bias involved nothing you say has meaning.

I don't hate Johnny, but he's an overrated competitor. When you look at his accomplishments in full detail, they aren't as impressive.
The Island:
-Was fortunate that Abram quit during the second vote off (no one liked Johnny for the most part and people still elected to vote for Johnny even though Abram pleaded to get voted off).
-Won Rat In Cage (though Derrick intentionally went in and threw the mission in order to help Johnny as Johnny himself revealed in a confessional). He did beat Cohutta in a event that seemed to cater to Cohutta's strengths more so I give Johnny credit.
-Won the final mainly because of his alliance and making a deal with Evelyn (stabbing Paula in the back)
The Ruins:
-Defeated Dunbar (who's an average at best competitor) in the last elimination round due to a simple leverage move. But the fact that Johnny was elected to go into the elimination round out of Evan, Derrick, Kenny and himself clearly says something about where Johnny ranks when he's standing with good players (with the exception of Kenny of course).
-Won in the final mission because his team was vastly superior and Evan and Susie completed the puzzles.
Rivals:
-Had a good complement of a partner in Tyler.
-Won the last elimination round because of Adam's failure.
-Won the final because the stronger team in Wes and Kenny had Wes suffer an injury and collapse.
Exes:
-Had the best female performer in Camila.
-Won the last elimination round because Mark threw it (and apparently Robin too).
-Won the final mission because of CT not pacing himself and gassing out. Credit does go to Johnny for being smarter and pacing himself better but CT (the best competitor all time) would normally beat Johnny in almost anything so Johnny was very fortunate.
So when you look at it, Johnny's accomplishments were mainly due to alliances, weak overall competition, and his best competition screwing themselves out of a win
I see no argument for Zach over Bananas...you can't dismiss the finals performance
Zach was paired with Devyn! Take away the pair format, and what then? Zach is easily a better athlete than Johnny and would certainly beat him in a long distance race (only puzzles would help Johnny).
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en" xml:lang="en">Dear Haters, I have so much more for you to be mad at. May or may not be challenge related, but still interesting nonetheless. If he ends up being partnered with Nany, I'm going to be so ******. It will be proof that BMP wants certain individuals to win.
He's going to be on the next challenge. I just know it. And guess what? HE'S GOING TO WIN AGAIN!
He's going to be on the next challenge. I just know it. And guess what? HE'S GOING TO WIN AGAIN!
He has the best luck on challenge history, topping Darrell.

You do realize without pairs Zach would have quit right? He didn't quit at the rock climbing because Laurel pushed him.....
You do realize without pairs Zach would have quit right? He didn't quit at the rock climbing because Laurel pushed him.....
He was whining more than Wes on Rivals
You do realize without pairs Zach would have quit right? He didn't quit at the rock climbing because Laurel pushed him.....
Johnny gets away again with a competitor quitting (like he did with Mark on Exes).
Doesn't Landon have very good record too? Like 3/4 wins? (And in Duel he was obviously top men also, won almost every challenge)
Wins are irrelevant, he has a very good record of performance. CT, Theo Von and Landon are the best when it comes to individual stats in missions.
Johnny is around Eric Nies, James, Adam Larson and Colin's level when it comes to overall ability. He's more close to those guys, he isn't with some of the best competitors like CT, Theo Von, Landon, Dan S, Mark and etc.
We're never gonna agree on whose the best, so let just change topics. Who do you guys want to see make a return. Mine are KellyAnne, Kimberly, Darrell, Derrick, Ruthie, Frank R., Landon and Kina.
