that does not really count seeing as how he's gay. they are right up there with women in the free for all bullying that happens on reality tv forums and youtube. nobody dare says anything negative about people like Mark, Brad, Darrell, JEK, and even Wes as horrid as he is! What the **** is so bad about Brad, Mark and Darrell??? You're acting as if every girl is getting treated bad and the guys always get a free pass. Stop being sexist towards men. JEK have gotten a lot more flack than any girl in Challenge history.
I think the thing with CT is that he's coming off a win. So now that he's won one of these shows maybe he doesn't feel like he needs to cause drama or stir trouble. He's got nothing left to prove so why even care?
And I don't know why people are complaining about the editing. The shows been edited like this for awhile now. It's odd that people are just noticing it. And as for the Draw..I think a main problem is that everyone doesn't go in it. We've only had certain people go in. It should be Everyone goes into the Draw except the people that the challenge winners of that day choose to go in elimination. That way NOBODY is safe. Everyone would be at risk. This poorest preforming teams go into the draw is stupid and it's not cutting it.
What the heck are you talking about? That's how it was done back in the day when The Challenge was mostly about Competition not drama (the originals Seasons and prior)

It's not bullying, it's putting yourself on TV and acting like an *** knowing that you're going to get judge for your actions by thousand of people.
JKE, Wes, CT and even Brad have been judge and "Bully" especially on this forum with the inside info V1man and Mold13 used to give since you are new you wouldn't known none of that. JKE is the one that get the most harsh critics.
Anyways, this is the Thread for Free Agents RATINGS and I don't think people want to read through this pointless discussion to find the episodes ratings, you should post the whole discussion on:

Darrell - acted VERY homophobic towards Shane on their season of Road Rules, plus attacked Brad when he was drunk (low class ***** move, wait till he's sober and can put up a fair fight).
Mark - cheated on Robin and then pretended they weren't even in a relationship afterwards, why the **** do you think she got so crazy...she was normal before hooking up with him!
Brad - berated Casey and was too scared to go into elimination on CutThroat, instead sending in Brandon and Tyler multiple times.
and these men are regarded as fan favorites?? I rest my case...hypocrisy!
ok since this forum is about ratings I will discuss ratings...does anyone know if BMP ever thought to invite some of the Jersey Shore cast to a Challenge? I know some would definitely decline but I think a few of them (Pauly D, Vinny, Ronnie, Deena, maybe Angelina) might do it. It would certainly jack the ratings up and get more people interested in a Challenge!

This thread is about ratings, the forum have different threads where you can post your theories. I wasn't trying to be rude lol
BMP doesn't produce Jersey Shore (It's produce by 495 Productions) they had contract with that company they would have got in trouble for working with another company under contract. Plus why compete on a challenge if they used to get pay for each episode (season 6)) more than the final prize on the challenge:
Snooki: $150k (Per episode)
The Situation: $150k (Per Episode)
Pauly: $150k (per Episode)
JWOWW: $100k (Per episode)
Vinny: $90k (Per Episode)
Ronnie: $80k (Per Episode)
Sammi: $80k (per episode)
Deena Nicole: $40k (Per episode)

There has never been a time when this show was about competition focused.
And what I mean is this. Everyone should be going into the draw. Not just the people that did badly. Take this recent episode. Only two of the formed teams went into the draw whereas all of them except for the winning team should've gone in and then Brandon's team would've had a bigger pool of people to choose from. It's dumb that only a few people go into the draw. ALL of them except the winners and the 2 people that the winners choose to go into elimination should go into the draw.

wow I had no idea they got paid that much...where I was coming from though is that most of the (except Snooki, Jwoww, and Sitch) have been away from tv since the last episode so they might be interested. Surely since the show ended a year or two ago they are no longer under contract?
Back in the day (most of you might not remember this), Real World played on Tuesday nights and Road Rules (and then the earlier Challenges) was on Monday night. It was when MTV started alternating Real World and Challenges that they were moved to Wednesday. I wonder if moving them back to Monday or Tuesday would help ratings? with promotion of course!
Another thought I had: MTV is owned by Viacom right? Wouldn't they be able to increase ratings on most of their shows if the ran promos on some of Viacom's more popular channels? Has this been discussed?

Yes, they they are owned by Viacom and can do that but for some reason they never do it for The challenges (They did it for Real World EXplosion for the first time).
I personally think that they should have left free Agents on Wednesday the change was pointless especially since it wasn't going against Duck Dynasty , new episodes of Southpark or Honey boo boo that tend to hurt ratings. If they wanted to change the night Monda and Tuesday were better options than thursday that is known as the biggest night in cable.

They are not longer contract probably with the exception of Jwoww and Snookie...But do you really think they would do a challenge, when they can do Dancing with the stars and get pay WAY more than appearing on a challenge and compete fr 125k? I personally don't see it happening, they have other stuff that produce more money that going on an MTV challenge, plus BMP wouldn't ask them.
Really they just need to stick with the themes and with the themes comes partners because people are use to it because they did so many in row and most of them did very well. It was like the turning point of the challenge.
Has anyone though that some of the failure in ratings (besides many other things) is due to the one on one eliminations and many people being use to the pair eliminations?
Its also hard to say if The Draw is affecting ratings too and if it will be useful for future challenges. A lot to consider.

Lol you are so butthurt it's hilarious. So whenever a female competitor gets criticized it's wrong but when a guy gets criticized you accept it? Different people have different lifestyles, get over it. I'm sure Nia has cheated on almost every guy she's been with and that's something she would be proud of. And Nany said all kinds of gay slurs to Frank on BOTS2. And berating people? It's a freaking competition! I would go apesh** if people on my team had great potential to sabotage my chances of winning and didn't want to go prove themselves.
This show is about competition and drama, it's not about who's homophobic or who's sexist because almost every single one of these challengers, both male and female, have bad traits about them. These are crazy people which is why they're so entertaining to watch.
Does anyone remember what ratings were like for The Island? Being the biggest survivor fan, I would love to see them do The Island 2. I had a blast with the first one (may be in the minority though).

You're probably the only one
Watching The Island was like watching a bunch of drunks sit around and do absolutely nothing. Oh wait, that's exactly what it was.
but it was like the Survivor like deliberations and votes that made it so fun for me...although I love The Challenge I feel like Survivor is ten times more entertaining as far as competition and drama.

None of those Survivor dudes would last in a Rivals 1 final.

Eh, I love Survivor but its just a totally different game. How many people have won just bc of their social game or politic-ing game? In survivor, i'd say the social game is more important, in the challenge, its the physical game.
None of those Survivor dudes would last in a Rivals 1 final.
Survivor is 10x harder than The Challenge. Those competitors have more mental toughness than the average challenger. And the really good survivors(male/female) are probably 5x smarter. So I wouldn't count them out.
None of those Survivor dudes would last in a Rivals 1 final.
Probably bc Survivor is mostly located in warm areas and Rivals I finale was in the cold?
but it was like the Survivor like deliberations and votes that made it so fun for me...although I love The Challenge I feel like Survivor is ten times more entertaining as far as competition and drama.
I agree. there's competition and gameplay that's frequent in Survivor you would NEVER see on Any challenge.

If anyone's watching the current season, it's evident how many times alliances have been changed and how fast things change in Survivor. On the challenge, these alliances rarely change (although I guess the current format is TRYING to do that).
As well, its really fun to see cranky contestants when they have no food :')
As well, its really fun to see cranky contestants when they have no food :')
I disagree. Honestly, I kinda liked the Island, but I didn't like seeing the players uncomfortable with their living conditions and the lack of food.

Yep. I'm watching the Current season and there's so many twists and turns when it comes to alliances and such that it makes it much more interesting to watch. The Challenge could definitely benefit from that kind of unpredictability.

Only reason Survivor has that level of unpredictability was because there is voting to see who goes homes verses eliminations on The Challenge.
Even like on Blood vs. Water there was not as much alliance changes and what not because there was Redemption Island but with this season there is RI and so its a really good season but I like RI.
I'm enjoying this season of Survivor more than Free Agents.
why are we talking about half the stuff we are in the ratings thread.
I already mentioned multiple times half of these conversations should be in the generic thread, NOT the ratings thread.
Here are the Ratings for every show new episodes that's aired on MTV this week (House of Food was no where to be found, that's how bad is doing) , so once the Ratings for Free Agents are released tomorrow you guys can compared it. Every show on MTV went down in the rating department they are doing really bad, I hope that's not the case for Free Agents Tonight at least to be consistent:

Are they still airing reruns for Free Agent? commercial for the new epsiodes?
