I'm really confused what you guys have been talking about for the last couple posts. Brad had first pick of partners (Rachel) and got a healthy lead over Evan. The only thing that made a Rachel worse to have was the fact she didn't help carry the ring or dig the sand out of the box.
Oh riiight I knew I was missing something.
Thanks :witless: Either way the point is that them having to suddenly have "partners" was something I didn't like
Had Brad gotten first pick of a partner, he would've won and vica versa with the guys. It came down to the girls
They really shouldn't have had to pick partners at all.
Miz - Inferno 2. He won so many livesavers, won an inferno and the final mission.Ruthie - Battle of the Sexes 1
Mike didn't go in an inferno on the Inferno 2.
I wouldn't say Evan "murdered" the Duel 2 final. Brad was literally 2 feet behind him at the end.

Brad also murdered it.
I'm not saying that Evan crushed all of his opponents but he and Brad were really impressive on the course itself.
Did you guys even see the Duel 2? Brad was cramping when he had Rachel as a partner running towards the digging part of the final. Evan lost major time for waiting for Brittini to catch up, but he still ended up catching up to Brad and then beating him.
Evan was the best performer on the Duel 2. Landon was a better athlete but his politcal game sucked, he got a DQ in the elimination, and Brad outsmarted him in the final bout in that elimination by throwing his ring all over the place causing him to panic and giving Brad enough time to clip his ring. Evan also went into like 3 eliminations and won all of them.
However, I do agree that having 1/3 of the final be partner-based was really stupid considering that this is supposed to be an individual Challenge.
it's hard to judge who is the best when they have everyone pair off all the time
Brad got paired up with Rachel and got a huge lead but Evan still caught up and beat him.

If rachel wasn't a ***** and helped brad more or if brads chain didn't get caught then it could have been a different result.
If rachel wasn't a ***** and helped brad more or if brads chain didn't get caught then it could have been a different result.
It was every man for himself at the end of the day. Rachel was smarter.
It was every man for himself at the end of the day. Rachel was smarter.
They really shouldn't have made them go into partners in the first place. THAT's where the problem begun
If we ever get a Duel 3 let's pray there are no paired missions at all.
In the Duel 5/15 missions were paired, while in the Duel 2 5/10 missions were paired (including portions of the final mission).

That, Evan for Duel 2, and Diem for Exes leaves me confused as well....

If CT would have made it to the finals then I would have picked him for best performance on Rivals but he didn't make it unfortunately. So who's the one who finished the first leg of the final first, without gasping for air, while dragging a 5'9 170lb freckled kid up the mountain as well? Kenny.
Evan had a huge target on his back ever since he stepped foot on the Duel 2 and no matter how many times he got sent into the elimination he still came back. When it came to the final, Brad had a huge lead on him since Evan had to wait for the 2nd girl to catch up but even then he still caught up to Brad and beat him. Evan had an overall amazing performance for that Challenge.
And as far as Diem is concerned I believe she really stepped it up big time on Exes and wasn't she ahead of both Camila and Bananas in the final but because of CT they passed her? Diem did amazing on Exes.

Doing well on the final doesn't mean you performed the best that season. Johnny was probably the best on Rivals 1 and Camila on Exes.
Landon consistently outperformed Evan though. The fact that no one even called Landon out speaks volumes. Well, except for Issac.
I do agree that Diem was the female MVP of Exes. I think it's debatable between Diem, Camila, and even Emily, and it all comes down to a matter of opinion.

Emily was the breakout star of Exes, but not the MVP of the season. I don't even remember Diem/CT doing too well in missions until around the halfway point or so.
Emily did well in the elimination rounds but she didn't do so hot on a day to day mission basis. Diem and CT won two challenges but didn't really do so great the rest of the time. Johnny and Camila hung everyone else out to dry, statistics wise. Scoring first place or runner up in 5/8 challenges, then winning the final is rather dominating IMO. The two challenges they didn't do well on was a trivia challenge(proves absolutely nothing) and one where they had to go first.

The only mission I clearly remember Emily not doing so hot on was Race to the Alter. I guess she did miss a pretty easy question in Mental Connection as well. I think she would have been great on Lube Me Up if Ty did his part and gave Emily a chance to keep competing. I also believe Emily was the best female in Feel the Burn even though CT and Diem ultimately won it. I do believe a strong case can be made for each of the final 3 for girl MVP of Exes.
If Evan hadn't climbed the pole with the bike he had won pretty easy
One of Evan's best moments hahaha. "I don't know if I'm tired, I don't know if I'm illiterate, but something goes wrong."
I thought Ruthie's performance on the Battle of The Sexes was amazing. I wish she was still around.
I agree with that. Ruthie was the MVP of that season. She either won the mission for the girls or was always near the top. When she climbed that ladder in around 30 secs, holding her breath, dead man's drop, and winning the car for the ladies.
If they had Emily for the final mission, I think they would have won. I think Ruthie in that season had arguably top 2 female performance.
Evelyn during Rivals I is another one. She honestly could have won that season by herself. I miss Ev :(
Landon has the greatest male overall performance of all time for Freshmeat 2 imo.
100% agreed. I think Landon is one of the best males of all time period. He might not have been the greatest Politically, but he sure made up for it Athletically IMO.
