Darrell was not the best male performer on Fresh Meat, and Landon was the best on the Duel 2. Just because Evan and Darrell won in the final, doesn't mean they were the best.

Performance wise I believe Darrell and Wes were both kind of equal on Freshmeat but I gave Darrell the edge since he actually won.
And Evan killed Duel 2, he was the King of politics there and he gave an amazing performance, no Kenny or Johnny needed.

I think he's talking competitively. Landon destroyed Duel 2 no questions asked. Mark outperformed Evan as well, Evan wasn't even the second best on the Duel 2.

Theo and Derrick were the two best performers overall on Fresh Meat, Darrell and Wes are not even in the conversation. And Evan was lackluster overall on the Duel 2, he was fourth overall in performance (mission wise), Landon, Mark and Brad outperformed him overall. So I don't know what you're talking about.
Duel- Wes He wasn't part of the big alliance and made his own little alliance and won it all.
Duel 2- Evan He controlled the entire game and even made the smart move to throw Landon in.
Y'all. This is ridiculous. Don't say "so and so is the best" like it's a fact - because it's NOT a fact. It's your opinion. Different people use different criteria to determine if someone was the best. I am so tired of this never-ending debate.

This thread is called best challenge PERFORMANCE! Evan was NOT the best performer on the Duel 2, not even close.

Did you even read my post?
Does anyone else think that Abe dominated the missions for Cutthroat? The Gray team won 5/9 normal missions and he was one of the main reason why the won each of them.
Gas Chamber Puzzle - Can be taken with a grain of salt. Showed he was able to take leadership.
Surf Board Swim - Team effort.
Basket Hoops - Shooter for the team, got to last ring without any help.
Ball Up the Hill - All Abe/Laurel
Riot Act - Showdown against Brad thanks to the girls.

I feel that entire challenge was rigged so that Brad and Tori would win together.

I completely disagree. The only reason Mark looked better than Evan on The Duel 2 is because 6 of the challenges were paired challenge and Mark had Rachel for every single one. Evan had Paula and Diem who are not nearly as good as Rachel.
I like Mark don't get me wrong but he the most overrated male competitor on these shows. He won 2 challenges back in the day when there weren't even elimination rounds and the one time he went into an elimination round he lost.

He has been a consistently strong performer in every challenge he's done. He also threw that elimination round as he knew Johnny probably had a better chance at winning than he djd with Robin.
Anyway, Landon wss the best performer on the Duel 2. He did well in every mission and didn't even get flustered in any elimination rounds, unlike Evan. Unfortunately, he lost to a smart move from Brad in their elimination round.

Yup then definitely paid Sarah and Abram to fake being sick during the final

I mean, let's get real; it made for a better ending that Tori and Brad won together.
Had Abram and Sarah not gotten sick, it would have been close.

No it didn't. The Best ending would've been with The Gray Team winning. Despite all they've been through.

Believe you me, I would have loved to see the Gray team -- a bunch of new people with Abram at the helm -- win, but here's the way that I saw the "better ending;"
Brad & Tori, lovers since the Gauntlet III, had some tough time on the Duel II, back again and officially married. Most likely, this would have been their last chance to win (and Brad not winning a challenge yet, despite all the chances he had -- seriously, I wish he would have won both Duels, but eh, what can you do?). More than likely, they wanted to settle down and start a family...you know, what every married couple wants.
I don't know; I mean, it was nice to see Brad and Tori win (even though I was more happy to see Tyler win his first).
But what you said, and all they've been through during Cutthroat, and during the final, it would have been equally as nice to see them won.
Too bad I can't see that show again...stupid Amazon Prime ****.

THIS!!! I need to rewatch a bunch of Challenge seasons but MTV made them unavailable :(

What is up with that? Why doesn't MTV make them legitimately available? I think they're making a mistake by doing that.

No way. I hated Brad and Tori on Cutthroat. They walked around and laid down rules for everyone on their team but themselves. Maybe it was the edit that they got of being portrayed as Mr. and Mrs. Challenge but either way, I thought the best ending to Cutthroat would be if the Gray Team won.
This thread is called best challenge PERFORMANCE! Evan was NOT the best performer on the Duel 2, not even close.
Exactly. He was third at best. Landon was clearly number 1 and Mark was number 2. I think a case can be made for Brad being 3. He beat Landon in the duel and led the vast majority of the final. Had Rachel helped him more with the digging and his chain hadn't jammed I think he beats Evan. The only thing Evan has is the win. He moaned and complained every time he got called in the duel and he got called out by mediocre players. I think he should have been disqualified during the elevator duel, TJ had to tell him to sit down multiple times. Evan was better on the Duel than Duel 2 and he wasn't the best player on the original Duel either.

1. How would you rank Mark higher than Evan on The Duel 2 when Evan won 3 challenges and 3 Duels and Mark only won 2 challenges?
2. If 3 mediocre players called out Evan how is that his fault? Its not like he called out Davis, Nehemiah, and Derek. So you can't really hold that against him.
3. Evan was absolutely the best player on the first Duel. He won more challenges than anyone on the season and was safe for almost every guys elimination day. CT won 3 challenges but all on opposite *** days and Wes won 4 challenges including the final challenge. So there is an argument for Wes being the best on The Duel, but its a toss up with Wes and Evan.

1. In my opinion Mark was better overall than Evan. Mark had a few second place finishes as well as his two wins. One of Evans win was the first challenge and it was basically luck of the draw. The other guys decided to team up on Mj instead of Evan in the final of the first challenge.
2. If Evan was a great as he thinks he is then why would he be scared to go against people like Davis. I don't think people like CT or Landon would whine about being called out by Davis.
3. One of the challenges he won was because CT didn't follow directions and went to the wrong pole first and he smoked Evan in the challenge. Then Evan let Wes talk him into calling out CT and on top of it he lost to CT in the Duel even when trying to cheat.
Sorry but to me Evan is overrated, his best challenge was Fresh Meat. Of the JEK guys I would take Johnny and Kenny over Evan.

Out of the individual missions mark still performed better. I'm pretty sure evan won only two missions which involved people letting evan win the first one and then a spelling bee.
Your 3rd point makes no sense when you complained about mark and rachel being partners. Evan had jodi and kina as partners. CT won 3 individual missions and same with evan, one being the flag DQ CT originally won, and CT then took him out of the elimination round.
I don't understand how people are not giving Evan the credit he deserves for Duel 2. He controlled the whole game! Granted that Landon was the better athlete, Evan still was using almost everyone as pawns to ensure his spot in the final and then winning the whole thing. And people like MJ and Landon all knew Evan was a slimeball but somehow he still managed to basically control the game.
And CT was the best guy on the Duel. He sent Evan back to canada and smoked Brad. Just his drive alone would have been enough to beat Wes in the final.
