When was this? I wouldn't be surprised but I'm trying to think when they both were still on a challenge for a swimming challenge. The only ones I can think of are the surfboard one on cutthroat when Camila fell off and the zip line on Rivals 1 when Sarah had Katelynne.
yep, the surf board challenge, while they fell off the board C competed the swimming part faster then S and L without falling off... Camila is really a crazy good swimmer, she swam competitively until college and she was pretty darn good at it... she was deemed too short though for a professional swimmer.
On a more on-topic note:
We at least know now that the reason why CM was crying in this shot is Johnny...(she was wearing the same clothes during the bus-scene on the S'''-show)

a girl crying..... should have figured that JB had something to do with it..
That's that good ol' "I WANNA GO HOME" cry from Cara.
I'm aware of how I come across. That's just who I am. I think her comments regarding Susie were completely inaccurate and a desperate attempt to attack her personally because she knows her intended argument of "TJ hates women" is dead wrong or at least can't be supported by only what has aired. Susie is there to play a game--simple. Her actions during the game have no indication of who she is as a person. As an intelligent person she can leave that at home. You have to be able to separate "reality" from "a reality show". See CT. Evelyn is a great person and a great competitor but Susie's plan was perfect. Evelyn had every right to be pissed and TJ had every right to call her out for throwing the competition. Evelyn did what she felt was best--in the end that's all that matters. No regrets and don't worry about what others think.
As far as the "I hate Tonya game"...that's just life. Unfortunately people don't like other people...and they're bored on these challenges. They come up with stupid games. These things exist at most schools throughout the country and, more scary, in most work places. Most people aren't "genuinely nice"...few are but most aren't and there's no reason to pretend that stuff like that doesn't exist. "Who plays that game" (paraphrasing)...most people is the answer. Some just aren't willing to admit it. I think I've encounter maybe a handful of people that wouldn't partake in something like that in a "challenge environment".
What gets me in trouble is I can remove emotion from anything...some people can't see that.
I differ with your opinion re: Anne K. Desperate attack doesn't jive with how Anne K has written on the board since she began commenting. I don't always agree with her but I never find her to be anything but logical in her explanations. I have seen the same thing re: TJ that she pointed out. I'm not sure it's deliberate; I think it's how he is. Listen to his language: girls vs. women, guys vs. boys...I know you don't want to hear it but it starts there.
Has a male ever quit on the show in a non-challenge situation? Did any of them ever just walk out with no injury or family issues like Trishelle?
Someone on the Island did, he got too drunk an just decided to call it quits if I remember correctly
Has a male ever quit on the show in a non-challenge situation? Did any of them ever just walk out with no injury or family issues like Trishelle?
Dave quit on the Island and then Tyrie quit on the Gauntlet 3 though that was for a family issue
Trishelle tweeted that she'd love to tell everyone the real reason she left but she would get sued if she did. Then she tweeted she wasn't the only one who quit, and that a few people this season threw elimination rounds to get out of the game

Didn't zack and anastasia purposely lose?
I'm trying to think of people who could have possibly threw eliminations this seasons, only one I can think of is Dunbar but that's because he said Tyrie was a bad partner and he thought wouldn't he make it far but I'm still not sure know about that one because maybe he's just that bad and wanted to cover up but Knight said he heard Dunbar say it before the elimination round so it's probably true. Other than that, I can't think of any others, maybe Jessica and Anastasia but I think they lost because Anastasia had that whole health scare thing

What Trishelle means is that she was told by production that she would be sued if she talked about her departure as it would reveal a "production detail." I'd be happy to introduce her to some attorneys in LA who have some very positive experience dealing with such things.
Abram had to leave the Island because of some issue with his job at home, if I remember correctly.
That was what was shown in the episode, however, I've been told that Abram was actually on the phone with Coral. The two were going to Hawaii to attend a wedding. Some cast members knew the truth. If BMP was monitoring the call, they knew the truth as well. It was production's phone.

Dave from Real World Hollywood quit The Island.
Abram had to leave the Island because of some issue with his job at home, if I remember correctly.
Okay I heard that excuse was bogus. I heard the real reason was he had to go to a wedding with Coral. Maybe someone in the know can shed some light on if that is true or not.

Dunbar throwing the jungle would make sense. Him missing the rope to ring the bell was hard to process. It also makes sense that Tyrie would be so angry with him.

At the time watching it, and I don't know about you and others, I seriously thought he screwed up and tripped but after reading online,it all made sense but at the time, I really thought he was that bad and fell like a damn drunk. And I don't think Tyrie knew at the time either or he probably would have gone off even more and possibly knocked out Dunbar or something, I know I would have seeing as he was going home anyway.
Chris was an engineering undergrad before RW Paris came along. That suggests some decent math stills if nothing more. Compared with the average intellect occasionally displayed at vevmo, I'd say he's a genius. :encouragement:
I've always felt that people have underestimated CT's intelligence. Glad to know he proved them all wrong. LMAO that he beat Frank and Johnny by an hour and a half while neither of the those two were able to even complete the puzzle within the allotted time.
What podcast was this?
I think people just despise Johnny so much that if he doesn't do the best they say he sucks. It's getting ridiculous. Johnny's one of the best competitors. The END.
Well, I wouldn't say that he isn't a good competitor, but if people jump on him when he underachieves then the blame is on him because he's a total ****** and he draws attention to himself that way.
next week looks interesting, theyre eating durian, I wonder if they'll like it (probably not lol)some ppl really like it, theres this show called bizarre foods and this guy goes around to different countries and eats weird **** and this guy isnt bothered by anything, raw *********, rotten fish but the one thing I saw him not like was the durian lol that and animal fat
Oh really? I love to watch people's reaction to durian. The taste of durian isn't bad, but I guess it's the smell that puts everyone off. It's been a constant food staple in our home since I was a child, so I didn't understand people's repugnance with it. Not to say that I eat it much now, I'll eat it chilled or served as a certain dessert, but I'm not a big durian lover like my parents and relatives. In fact, I wouldn't even eat it warm because it's slimy at room temperature and if they're eating it and it's been sitting out, it'd be pretty gross and overpowering. Though I'd eat warm durian over any type of raw animal testicle anyday **gags**

I agreed with what kvm1977 said. I never thought kvm1977 came on too strong. Most of his arguments are well supported and thought out.
Nothing against annek but her argument didn't buy me in like kvm1997 did.

I could have been nicer at the end but making logical arguments that are dismissed solely based on emotion frustrates the hell out of me.

Do you have any inside info on the reason why Trishelle quit? I think I heard it was because the production treats the cast like **** now.

I didn't think kvm1977 came on too strong, I did feel that he personally attacked my posts while claiming not to get emotional. I was just stating my opinion on the issue. I fully understand that others don't share that opinion and I accept that as well. I can agree to disagree without telling people that their opinions are laughable or desperate, apparently kvm1977 can not.

This was great. Fav part of the episode.
Dunbar admitted in an interview he threw the elimination and the challenge that day so they would come in last.

Never cared or hated Dunbar but now I hope he never comes back. It is one thing to throw something when you're not partnered with someone--it is entirely a different scenario when you are. I don't care if you like or hate them--be an adult and try

Dunbar is a coward, he didn't tell Tyrie because he knew Tyrie would **** him up. It really ****** me off when I hear people threw eliminations, they really need to do something about it because some people just show up for the appearance fee and it's stupid, it takes the whole competitive aspect of the game away. They should penalize people who do stuff like that and give them half of their appearance fee or something because if they are just going to half-***, they don't deserve to be there in the first place and they definitely don't deserve to get any kind of check in the mail.
