The Real World: San Francisco (Two; II; Back to San Francisco; Ex-Plosion) is the twenty-ninth season of MTV's reality television series The Real World, which focuses on the interactions of strangers from differing backgrounds living together for several months with cameras rolling. Location work began in July 2013 with filming set to begin in the next few days. On July 17th, 2013 a permit application was filed for temporary partition walls and plumbing fixtures for a reality television show at 1244 Sutter Street, San Francisco California. . 1244 Sutter is a newly renovated historic property (built 1911) and the former home of the Avalon ballroom which hosted headliners such as The Doors, Janis Joplin and The Grateful Dead. . It his currently listed as having a total of 32,000 ft for lease, with 12,600 ft of column free space and 25' ceilings on the second floor. . On July 24th, 2013 a complaint was issued for wiring without a permit. . It states they are running data cables for cameras. That would be completely normal for a business in a commercial space, but the key tell is that they also filed permits for household items (e.g. dishwasher/laundry/range) which show this property is indeed becoming a residence/set. . .
