The Real World 29 - Casting

It's okay to get some Party people but I would like to seem some with Interesting backgrounds instead of people who applied because they were bored or did it so they can take a Vacation.

I find the whole Portland cast to be Vapid minus Nia & Jordan. :glee:

The bits of Seriousness they did have wasn't focused on enough such as Jordan's serious conversation where he opened up to Ana about the pressure from his Dad.

Hey all, I went to an open call in Burbank. A friend and I went for fun. There were a lot of people with interesting stories. For the most part, everyone had mentioned that they were homeless. Hearing this had made me feel sympathy, but I couldn't help but wonder if that was one of the themes this year. Me and my friend were dared to go and didn't take the process serious. We were joking around and made people laugh and ended up getting called back. Going through the casting process thus far is annoying and I'm over it. But I do think my friend should get on cause she has a crazy back stories.

There is this single mother that is on twitter saying she has already been casted. She claims Heather Allyn was her casting director and says that she is going to be the one that is a single parent on the show. I guesss there is some truth in this inside person on here. You said they was looking for a single parent and from what this girl says she is it. I looked up this casting director and she is real so I guess we know one of the cast members already is a girl that has a kid. I wonder if they will let her bring the kid on the show. That will be different a real world house with a child there.

No offence to any single parents, if the kid has another parent then I guess its fine to leave them with thier mom/dad and go on RW but if the kid's father/mother is not involved then I dont think its a good idea to dump the kid somewhere and go on tv for 3 months

It crazy but I guess they already casted this girl.

I went to an interview in Nashville & only 2 out of the 10 of us were selected. I don't know how they decided between the sorts, but there was a... 1. Girl who just got out of the military & was came home with a girlfriend 2. A girl who just got in a relationship with a guy for the first time, virgin 3. A guy who had bone marrow cancer & lost a couple fingers & toes, gay black male 4. An Ethiopian girl with extremely strict parents & was trying to break out her shell 5. A self proclaimed party girl who is dealing with a DUI charge 6. A guy who lost a bunch of weight & is finishing his last semester of college 7. A girl who doesn't like commitment & would much rather have a 1 night stand 8. A black girl who only dates outside of her race, still dealing with a fling 9. A guy who was engaged to a girl, but found her cheating so he cheated on her with a guy. 10. A fat girl who was looking for love in all the wrong places. They ended up keeping behind the Ethiopian Girl who had to cover up her tattoos for years & the girl who was fresh from the military from a girlfriend. Honestly I don't think there was much basis off of who they picked besides the fact that they were looking for good looking people. Everyone's stories were so different, so I really feel like the first round was ONLY based off of looks. I didn't get selected there, however I went to a separate casting call. Got drunk first & made it to the second round... In this round I filled out a questionnaire & talked in front of a green screen. I however, do not think I made it past the 2nd round because I still have not heard back.

If these people were possibly going to be on the show you've likely gotten them axed by posting them on here. However, I'm unimpressed if this is what Bunim Murray can find to save the show.

they've axed themselves as far as I'm concerned being blatantly obvious... and doesnt this forum usually post the cast before its announced pretty much every season

Filming hasn't even started. If they were deep in the Casting process they will likely be axed.

Real World 29 isn't filming yet. The kid is likely lying but if he was almost close to being on he might be axed being that he's on here.

okay well i'll no longer post people who are deep into the audition process or are possibly going to be on the show anymore , but they, themselves shouldn't be posting about it either I mean thats how I'm finding these people because they are posting about LA auditions and quotes about how there life is going to change and what not... maybe they don't know they'll be axed

I checked out the kid's Instagram and he's actually 18 so I doubt he's on the show unless he's has one of the most interesting personalities and stories out there which I once again doubt.

Besides people here are a little more interesting than some of the cast like say Frank, Ashley and Alexandra (And I love the last one a lot).

But I think they should have her do hosting or something shes good at her little spreecasts.

I wouldn't be shocked if these people were given a call saying they advanced and they're idiots and think they already got casted to be on the show
