Saw this on Twitter today. They made an article ranking the seasons of the Real World:

Glad to see Denver ranked low, I couldn't stand that season either! I don't understand how they ranked San Diego and Chicago so low, ditto for San Diego 2 and DC being so high on the list. Ecstatic to see New Orleans, Boston, and Miami so high!
Why did you dislike Denver so much?
My Ranking
27. St.Thomas (Not Even Marie Could Save This Mess)
26. Philedelphia (Karamo and Landon desereved better roommates)
23/24/25. Cancun/D.C/New Orleans 2 (This was a ruff year for RW) (I feel like they recycled every storyline ever used)
22. L.A (Out Of All The Old Ones , This one sucked)
21. Denver (I honestly just didn't like this season , It didn't even seem like RW)
20. Key West (Horrible Cast (Minus Svet) with Flawless Drama)
19. San Diego 2 (I liked it cause they were actual real people and I swear they edited storylines out for The LGBT storylines )
18. Hollywood (Out Of 9 People , Brianna was the only interesting and tolarable person in the house)
17. New York 2 (The Introduction of Coral)
16. San Diego 1 (Robin!!!Randy!!!)
15. Sydney (Isaac!!!!!Parisa!!!Cohutta!!!)
14. Austin (Wes!!!Lacey!!!Nehamiah!!!)
12/13. London/Paris (I Enjoyed them the same)
Probably because Brooklyn was called Brooklyn.
And yeah I disagree with a LOT on that list. DC and SD2 are WAAAAY too high. And New Orleans 2, San Diego 1, and Chicago are too low. In my opinion, of course.
Brooklyn is still New York, genius.
Brooklyn is still New York, genius.
Right, but the season was called Brooklyn. It's the same reason they didn't call Hollywood "Los Angeles 2".
I've only seen a handful of seasons (St. Thomas, DC, and New Orleans 2 in their entirities) but I just started watching Las Vegas 2 online and I think it's the best so far out of those 4.
The Real World has been listed in the 50 most influential TV programs of the past 50 years.

It's the best of the recent seasons by a country mile.
I Just watched las vegas 2 and st thomas and now portland... las Vegas was the best because everybody had a situation going on they had a story to tell plus the drama
She got quite a bit of airtime, at least more than Nick and Brittini combined. She even got herself a seat on stage at the reunion.
That aggravated me
Since the RW VI boards seem to be closed, ill just post this here:
Brandon Kane is going to be a father come September. Very surprising but I wish him the best of luck.
Not too sure where to post this, but I found an article about Jon Murray saying how long RW will run.

Jon is less optimistic about RW's future now than when he answered the same question in NYC the week the Brooklyn season aired. I'm not surprised.
I noticed in the RW29 thread there were a few mentions of the next season possibly filming in Miami. I know it wasn't anything close to official, but I actually wouldn't mind that. I've kind of grown tired of the "beachy" atmospheres after St. Thomas and San Diego, but I could probably manage Miami. It's one of the few cities they haven't returned to that actually is worth revisiting IMO.
I still maintain the opinion that should they make it to season 30, it should be in Chicago again. Season 10 was back to New York, 20 went back to LA (Hollywood), so it kind of seems fitting to me. What with those being the three biggest cities. Plus, Portland is reminding me of how much I enjoy seeing the cast in a city atmosphere.
I'm actually surprised they haven't done Vancouver yet (Unless The Lost Season counts). Brazil, Spain, Orlando, Dallas, and ATL are also ones I'm surprised they haven't ventured into. I mean if they did Portland, why not Detroit?

I really hope they have a Dallas season before they end the series, I mean Dallas is the iconic city here in the south! If not, I am crossing my fingers for BGC to seal the deal.

I've been to Detroit many times and I can't imagine them going there...
Toronto, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Vancouver, Dallas, etc...lots of solid options out there IMO
There was actually talk that they were going to Detroit a couple years ago. Looked at houses and everything but idk what happened.
Anything is possible...I'd just be shocked if they actually went to Detroit--JMO
Nashville is one of my absolute favorite cities, and I would love if they went there, but I doubt they would. Plus, they'd have to cast a couple wannabe musicians, which.... ZzZzzz. But, there's some great talent in that city so maybe it wouldn't be too awful.
And yeah, I really doubt they'd ever go to Detroit.
It sounds like Miami is a lock for 29. I'm hoping for Phoenix metro area (including Scottsdale and Tempe) for 30.
How are you so sure?
How are you so sure?
I never said it was 100% definite. It sounds like, as in a strong possibility, it is a lock. Call it mostly a hunch. I could very well be wrong.
I feel like all new hot locations like Dallas, Atlanta (S10) etc are going to be reserved for BGC. I kinda only see them going back to places. Top 2 cities I think they would return to are Miami (Season 29) and Chicago (Season 30).
