Why didn't they just say that then, instead of pretending she was never there.
Why bother? It takes way longer to explain why she isn't there than to just pretend she never was part of the cast.
So I was thinking about This show yesterday and I came up with some season names and concepts..I know the show isn't coming back but this is just for fun.
Road Rules-Scotland
Road Rules:Californian Cruise(This is what Viewer's Revenge could've been had it been an regular season I think)
Road Rules:City Express
Road Rules:African Jungle
Road Rules:Japan
Road Rules: Northern Expedition
Road Rules:The Journey(Sequel to the Quest)
Road Rules:College Creep(Sequel to Campus Crawl)
So what do you all think?

I like the idea of a Road Rules Africa, but I think if they ever redid Campus Crawl and The Quest, they can put a "2" at the end of it, or call it Back to the Quest.
Why didn't they just say that then, instead of pretending she was never there.
Because MTV can be idiotic
And no it does not take that long to explain her sudden absence
Viewer's Revenge is the worst... it helped catapult the idea that some people never have to work hard to get the biggest reward aka Adam ...
I hated Adam too. It also sucks that the main the returnees weren't diverse. I did not need to see Abram nor Adam **** Shane as well.
I don't think it was the worst as everyone is on the bandwagon saying. For me South Pacific and RR2 were much worse.
Adam felt to me like Chadwick did -- they seemed to think they were entitled. Don't believe check the original Battle of the Seasons where Chadwick tried to engineer an Alliance that backfired on him and he got sent home. Apparently, Chadwick sent Emily a really nasty email blaming her for it too.
I honestly think road rules could do a good job if mtv brought it back. mtv has such a huge new generation of reality tv viewers that if they market it to them and not the current rw/rr fans they could gain a lot of popularity and the old fans would obviously still view it. they just have to use the rules from season 10-13 NOT the viewer voting format, that is what killed the chance of it coming back in the first place.

Everything you said here I remember. I can't remember what was said however in the email though. Chadwick and Holly just aggravated me.
I actually rewatched the original Battle of the Seasons, mainly because I stumbled across it by accident on youtube, and watched Holly campaign to save her husband in the inner circle. She turned around and blasted people for not saving her husband.
They also told Belou she was a bad mother and Belou went back after them for it. The only people who ended up having their backs were Piggy and Theo. Emily and Timmy had a long talk about what was right. It came down to Timmy reluctantly sticking it to Chadwick and Piggy, mainly because he did not want the backlash anymore.
It was interesting to see the individual responses of some of the cast during their interviews. Most knew that if Chadwick was sent packing that Holly crumbling was greater than the inverse. They even reminded the viewers that those two together were actually creating a block by controlling their teammates so they had a 2/3rds vote in the Inner Circle. An Inner Circle which sent Veronica home right off because she was the most powerful woman outside the Inner Circle.
The Real World side went with the lowest point total team. The only exception to that was when the Real World Inner Circle voted for basically the safety of everyone to send Seattle (Lindsey & Steven) home mainly because Steven actually hit girls during Challenges.
Yeah I don't see why it was so important to save Chadwick or keep Holly and him in the inner circle. Why the heck is Piggy on their side, like is she crazy?
Belou is a very good mother and if she was bad she would've hired someone else to take care of HER responsibility so that wasn't their place to say anything about that.
Also I'm glad the challenges and missions came a long way cause the one episode where Kelley and Danny won that rope mission was very boring. And I hated Mark and Eric as host.
Season 6 aka BOTSexes 1 was when the missions, backstabbing and challenges got crunk.
I still haven't seen Challenge 2000 but I hear I'm not missing much.
As for the lowest point that made sense but still could've backfired.

You mam have just made an excellent point.
Well, they were paired by Seasons so Piggy & Chadwick were one team while Holly & Theo were another team. Timmy and Emily (the original Queen Bee) were the third team in the Inner Circle. They formed an Alliance and voted off 2 or 3 teams before Dan & Tara got in there and immediately stated they needed to continue voting off the 4th team in which was Piggy and Chadwick. Holly and Theo were against it. Emily was for it and Timmy was undecided. He and Emily discussed it and decided to continue with what they had set up.
Host wise, Mark was fine. It was Eric who stumbled.....and then Theo wrecked his scooter.
Belou actually brought a nanny with her to watch the baby when she was doing the actual missions.
BOTSexes 1 is when Veronica got kicked out by Emily. If you watch the **** They Should Have Shown for it, both Ruthie and Ellen felt really betrayed because of what Emily said in the Inner Circle vs her interviews.

I actually didn't remember that to be honest. I loved the cast that season as it was really good and I love how you called Emily the original queen bee, that my friend was amazing, lol.
Theo wrecked a scooter? When? And Did you like the Mike/Coral argument? I was for sure he was having a bi-polar moment.
She did? I didn't not know that but it actually makes perfect since.
Yeah Veronica and Emily must've had a falling out or something but I get the feeling it has something to do with what transpired on Battle of the Seasons.
They had a STSHS back then?
As for Road Rules in general? I liked most of the newer ones from Latin America onwards. Xtreme is my absolute favorite next to CC though earlier I had sad otherwise. I still don't get the stans for South Pacific though.

Emily absolutely was the Queen Bee. She talked an Alliance existing then tried to deny when confronted by the rest of the RR team. Jisela went ape****. ...
As for the BOTSexes 1 with Veronica, apparently, so the story goes: Veronica and James (RR - MVT) were next door neighbors and he helped her move sometime before BOTSexes 1 but there were hints that he got a little something extra out of it. (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) Emily wanted Veronica gone because of it. Maybe she felt she could not trust James, I don't know. ... Veronica learned how to play the social game because of Emily.
Theo won a Honda scooter for having the best performance on a mission. Started it up, got less than a block and wrecked it on the median -- right in front of everyone.
Drunk Mike just slipped into the angry Miz in front of everyone and so Coral had to explain, especially to Elka, who the Miz was.
The STSHS was during the Reunion that year and includes some really funny moments like Mike turning into the Miz during the wrestling match against Theo for a mission, even asking Mark to kiss *** when he pulled his pants down.
The best mission by far was the Sidekick Showdown ... basically the Newlywed Show doing Challenge style with the roommates in their pairs answering questions. Miz and Coral just killed it -- like an old married couple.
EDIT: Sidekick Showdown: RW/RR Challenge: Battle of the Seasons: Ep.12 - Sidekick Showdown - YouTube
Road Rules could absolutely work again if they just strayed a lil bit from "The Challenge" aspect and stuck to old school RR missions. Have them stay in a haunted asylum for a full day and night, make them have to promote some event and give them a certain number of people that MUST attend, participate in some sort of amusement park performance, and while they have those kind of missions, throw in random extreme ones like bungee jumping and jumping out of car and stuff like that. I just think they need to stray from "challenge" type missions every episode. Mix it up and I'm sure it'll do better. The only thing I kind of like from the newer seasons is the voting off process once they lose too many missions.

EXACTLY! i think that the campus crawl format where they're either forced to give up their prizes or vote someone out would be the way to go.

I heard rumors about the James/Veronica situation but don't know why Emily was so angry.
Theo always ****** me off. He's aggravating especially for what he did to Theo/Irulan.
And Sidekick Showdown I heard was a everybody's fav.
James had nothing to offer though so I'm glad she finally got over him. I hope Veronica isn't the man stealing type. Paper stealing I can see not man stealing though.
From what I understand, it happened before he and Emily got together.
Then, like missions later, he gets sent home and suddenly Emily doesn't want to be there anymore.
EXACTLY! i think that the campus crawl format where they're either forced to give up their prizes or vote someone out would be the way to go.
No. That voting out rule was absolutley awful and one of the main reasons why the show tanked in ratings. I feel like it messed with the concept of the show. Trying to win missions so they don't have to vote someone off/give up prizes is not what this show is about. Save that for the challenges.
How about just a simple road trip. 7 RVmates, 1 simple rule: Make it from Paris to Bangkok in 60 days, if you do so then you win a share of $50k. Obviously the production would have to guide them through certain parts of the trip so they don't end up as hostages. But it would be their choice on what cities they go to and how long they stay in them. Basically The Real World on wheels.

Now this would be a good Idea.

I know you don't think the show was going to last long anyways right? After M'Sadda's season, MVT, The show got good. It wasn't high ratings with the original concept anyway. They were always the RW's red-headed stepchild.
