I used to live with 7 guys (9 in total since 2 were kicked out and replaced) during an internship last semester for 4 months. I can say first hand that we were all soooo different culturally and personality wise that if you put a camera in the apartment, it could have passed for a season of RW. I think it depends on the cast, really. If the room mates are dynamic enough, 3 - 4 months is far more than enough.
Did you do the Disney College Program or something?

Someone should update this! I think a couple are missing in the middle The Real World Intros (NY - Vegas 2) - YouTube
With all the buzz happening with Puerto Rico wanting to become a state, maybe we'll get season 29 there... lol **fingers crossed**
St. Thomas pt II. No thanks.
St. Thomas pt II. No thanks.
I've been to V.I (Saint John) and San Juan. Totally different cultures and lifestyle. PR would be sexy and fun and they could have a younger cast around 20-23 since the Portland cast is older. Plus they could cast 1 or 2 natives.
I had been hoping for RW: San Juan after I saw Cancun (since, I know I'm in the minority here, loved that season) but after St. Thomas, I agree, it doesn't sound like it would be all that interesting.

I think a season in Puerto Rico sounds way better than a season in Porland. However, if you read the spoilers you can tell that it's about the cast just as much as the location. St. Thomas had a ****ty cast IMO. You could have put those kids in Spain and it still would have sucked. I loved Cancun, btw.

I'd like to see one in Phoenix or Scottsdale honestly. Good temps all year round, 6th largest metro area, loads of stuff to do, etc.
I feel in the South they could use Charleston, Gatlinburg (big stretch), Austin 2, Charlotte, Atlanta. A Canadian location might be nice too, I just haven't noticed many southern states represented, and we don't really claim Florida as southern. :-P But out of country I'd love to see Italy, Tokyo, or Bermuda (watch them over use the love triangle metaphor here)
South, I'd want; Memphis, Nashville, Atlanta, Dallas or Tampa.
South, I'd want; Memphis, Nashville, Atlanta, Dallas or Tampa.
I don't think Atlanta, Dallas, Memphis, or Tampa would be good cities for The Real World. Nashville might be a good city.

Downtown has so many clubs[most being 18+] and stuff for them to do. There are also a ton of lofts and apartments.
Same could be said with both Tempe (especially with ASU there) and Scottsdale (especially Old Town).
I was watching really old seasons and I thought it was pretty cool how they introduced each roommate "Name, age, hometown, college" I think they should go back to doing it that way. Agreed ... They need to get away from looking for specific stereotypes and just look for interesting people. Go watch the first four seasons again to see the difference between then and the last four seasons. There were actually stories going on in the roommates' lives not the constant partying atmosphere.
Hmm, I understand that the show wanted to portray as this party girl and whatnot, but I kind of wish they had showed her grandad dying, it could've been pretty interesting to see, in my opinion. I also found it sort of interesting how she said she and Colie didn't really talk that much, considering on the show they were really close.
I'm watching Restore The Shore right now and I think it would be awesome for season 29 to be in New Jersey. The roommates could help in the community just like the NOLA season did for Katrina.
Nah, I don't wanna see a Jersey season, since that's exactly what Jersey Shore initially started as Real World: Jersey Shore basically (except everybody was from Staten Island/Long Island/Northern Jersey and it certainly wasn't a diverse environment, haha) I don't really wanna see a B2NOLA part 2. I didn't like that season too much and although it was great that they did community work that season, it made for boring television, no offense.

Community work wouldn't disrupt the drama that would happen in the house.
I'd easily add Jodi to that list. 5'9" gorgeous athletic woman? Yes, please
Hate to burst this bubble but Jodi wasn't all that pretty imho. I don't see why Patrick even said that. Kina and Ibis were much appealing. I wonder if she did RW what season would she have been on but that's discussion for another time and place.

I've also seen other pictures of her that were not from TV that made her much more appealing. Don't get me wrong both Kina and Ibis are beautiful as well. As for what RW Season she could have been on, what year did RR X-Treme air compared to RW?
Hmm favorite cast member (singular). It would definitely has to be... Tami from the Real World Los Angeles. Why? Cause Tami has NOT change one bit. She's still the loud, funny, and incoherent person she was in the Real World and now in Basketball Wives.
I find that sad.
Hmm favorite cast member (singular). It would definitely has to be... Tami from the Real World Los Angeles. Why? Cause Tami has NOT change one bit. She was certainly a drama queen, with a little help from Beth with the blanket incident, but overall she has gone one show to another with 15+ yrs and 2 daughters in between. I will give her props for choosing to go ahead with letting MTV film her dealing the idea of abortion and getting the procedure.

I also notice how MTV followed Tammi as she watch an ad for ITT Tech and also capture when she enrolled, I found it quite odd why they don't do that now.

I think they need to get back to delving into those issues again. It is the only thing that will save the show in my opinion.

By the way MTV is killing shows, the Real World might be at its end of its rope. :-/

The entire house was talking about it and everyone of them mentioned it in their Confessionals. Jon had the debate about it with Dom, Aaron, and Erin (Aaron's gf at the time). The entire show was involved once she told people what she was doing. Tami also had her jaw wired shut for 3 weeks to try to lose weight and no one on the show could understand why. She also worked in an AIDS clinic too.
