Zach & Frank are bullies, without a doubt. But since I loathe Alton I side with them. Knight, however, is a cowardly ***** for only going after females. That said, those three are harmless compared to the vile piles garbage that are evan & kenny. Johnny has his awful moments, but I still remember the nice guy fron Key West. kenny & evan have always been complete creeps & are just sleazy. Those Tonya allegations don't surprise me at all. Say whatever you like about Frank & Zach, but they haven't mercilessly tormented an obviously unstablle woman for oure enjoyment.
I'd say what Johnny did on the Island is comparable to what guys like Knight or Frank have said to Nany and Camila. This is of course, assuming we're only talking about how Johnny berated Ev. I can also see JEK being easy guys to get along with and they also don't take the game so seriously. Frank and Zach appear way too intense to deal with and according to many people, they took everything way too seriously. People have said this especially of Frank.
The thing is Johnny and Ev are friends now. JEK does it to make an entertaining show. Outside of the show, they are well liked and hangs out with 95% of the alums. I don't go on twitter but it sounds like Frank and Zach are actually how they are portrayed on tv. It sounds like they are only liked by the alliance they had in this season.
AfterBuzz TV » MTV’s Challenge AfterBuzz TV AfterShow interesting things about Alton. and the rules. Man I'm dissappointed. I was a big fan of Alton, he was by far the guy I was most excited for.

And Johnny even admits his behavior on the Island challenge was disgusting. I think it took him seeing himself on tv and the horrible response he got from fans that led to him toning it down on cutthroat. And his Island behavior wasn't for show. It was real. I think Johnny's ego is bigger than Frank and Zach combined. That's why CT turning him into a backpack was so great. Kenny and Evan walk around on challenges all arrogant too. So it's not like they are any better than these rookies in that regard. And they can say incredibly mean things on challenges and off on podcasts. People have complained about that in the past. But the grass is always greener. People slways complain about the current people in our face and long for the old ones. Remember all the talk about fresh meat ruining the challenges and being sick of them and longing for Coral / Veronica/ etc.? People are doing the same thing with different people now. And people talk about Zach s one liners being forced. I kind of agree. But I felt the same about Evan on the shows. He always sounded scripted. Was not surprised to that he writes his lines and rehearses them before interviews. Now Kenny can be funny and I agree that he is a character for the shows (like wes). I think Rivals is the closest we got to seeing the real him.

Also on Rivals, Ev was one of the first ones to go up to Johnny to hug him and celebrate with him after beating CT and Adam. The way JEK does it on challenges and podcast is called busting people's balls. Men do that just to joke around with another. I just checked Frank's twitter and it seems he is still attacking people personally even though the show is over.
I don't think Johnny is as bad as Frank at all. Frank attacks people personally and some of the stuff he has written on twitter is disgusting and it is to people who used to be his friends. Everyone on past seasons all say Johnny isn't that bad, he just has a big mouth. Katie Doyle for example always says how she loves Johnny outside the show. There is a lot of people this season who strongly dislike Frank outside the show still. Nany was one of his good friends and he treated her like dirt on the challenge according to the after show. Frank is way too emotional and if someone says one thing to him, he says low blows and doesn't stop. Zach, I don't think is that bad after listening to him on Derrick's podcast.
I really hate that in this episode people keep saying that Alton and Trishelle are old. It irritates me. I'm 19 years old and I don't consider them to be old at all. Alton's like 32 and Trishelle's like 30 or 31. I think that is the dumbest thing in the world, maybe add ten more years to them and I could see the old joke but not now...being 4 or 5 years older than someone doesn't make them old. And Alton needs to stop calling people kids, it's annoying and just adds to the old jokes...like seriously, stop it. No one on this challenge is old...geez. And Frank is annoying.
Just watched the episode again. I don't really unterstand why people are bashing Alton, because he didn't back up his talk. He wanted to go in the arena, but clearly his teammates didn't want him in the arena, because they thought there was a possibility that he would lose on purpose so either Trishelle or Nany would have gone home. I think they convinced Dustin to do it, because they knew Dustin would fight, but they weren't sure about Alton. I don't really blame Alton for anything. LV would have gone in the arena regardless, because of the beef between Alton/Zach/Frank.

Brandon on a podcast talks smack but then reveals Alton is the one that got rid of him, Trishelle talking while sucking on Frank and Zach. The funny thing is, if you're cool with frank and call anyone else's mental facilities into question, you're probably an idiot. It's funny how much you hear all this stuff that happened off camera, yeah, because I'm sure Alton posses production off so much that they then went out of their way to make him look good on camera. Meanwhile, frank is a good guy regardless of what we've seen on 2 seasons, what we see on his Twitter, etc. they know he won't talk back cuz it's not worth it

Lol, as I don't know any of these cats, met Alton once and he seemed like a good dude, as did Abram. I gave frank the BOD on his season, but after watching this and reading his Twitter, reading his interview here, he's a DBag. And since the people calling Alton out all seem to excuse Frank, I have to believe its their flaw. And these new folks are ratings poison.
Cara Maria likes attention so her commenting about Alton means very little to me.
Cara Maria also likes Trey so I don't see why she'd make up stuff about Alton and not him
Cara Maria likes attention so her commenting about Alton means very little to me.
Brandon and Devyn have also talked bad about Alton. If it was just the San Diego alliance talking bad about him, you could probably disregard it, but it seems to be everyone.
Cara Maria likes attention so her commenting about Alton means very little to me.
She does have a history, but has she ever said anything that's not true? If she was really looking for attention why wouldn't she throw numerous people under the bus?
She does have a history, but has she ever said anything that's not true? If she was really looking for attention why wouldn't she throw numerous people under the bus?
I'm not saying she's lying but I do think she tends to exaggerate situations. I like Cara Maria most of the time but I've always taken anything she's ever said with a grain of salt. Based on what she said I have no doubt something transpired between Dustin & Alton and production but to what extent I just don't know.
Alton (The Challenge, Connor), 20 points: Do you remember the old Lil' Kim? Like, Junior M.A.F.I.A Lil' Kim? Like, "Pull out your nine while I **** on mine" Lil' Kim? Well, she doesn't exist anymore. That Lil' Kim has been replaced by a designer zombie *** doll that looks, talks, and acts nothing like the Lil' Kim we all fell in love with as the Bonnie to Biggie's Clyde. The same thing has happened to Alton on The Challenge. No, he has not turned into a designer zombie *** doll, but he has become completely unrecognizable when compared to the psychologically and physically dominant athlete that dominated Challenges in the mid-2000s. He's now unhinged, erratic, reclusive, and, worst of all, apathetic. How could Alton act so unAltony? He was either brainwashed using the Ludovico technique or he's suffering from some sort of personality disorder. I figure the Ludovico thing is unlikely because it's fictional, so I started intensely researching (read: Googled a couple times). I am no doctor, I have no idea what I am talking about, but that won't stop me from diagnosing Alton after four minutes of Google searches. Alton is suffering from schizotypal personality disorder. How do I know? Well, let's go through some of the symptoms from WebMD: 1. "Dressing, speaking, or acting in an odd or peculiar way" Um, this is what he wore to the after-show: COURTESY OF MTV Hey, to each his own. You and I may find this outfit peculiar, but maybe Alton is ahead of his time. Maybe in four years we will all be dressing like disco-lumberjack-stoner-figure skaters. Maybe not. 2. "Being suspicious and paranoid" Once Alton was universally loved and confident. Now he feels that everyone has turned on him. "Not only does the whole house hate me and I have a big 'X' on me, now my own team is questioning my head in the game. For the first time I am the one that is the enemy." So, to summarize: He thinks everyone hates him and he is "the enemy." Sounds pretty paranoid to me. 3. "Being uncomfortable or anxious in social situations due to their distrust of others" First he explained to Sarah his fear of trips to the kitchen: "I can't walk to the cooler without getting yelled at by one of these children (5 points) -- so the arena is really my path outta here." Then one night while the rest of the house was inside, Alton wanted to be alone so he went out to the driveway. To the rock climb. Instead of being inside with his peers, he would rather be rock climbing up six feet of rock over and over and over again. I would say those both count as being uncomfortable in social situations. 4. "Having few friends and being extremely uncomfortable with intimacy" We have covered the whole loner weirdo thing he is doing, but it wasn't always like this. He was in a burgeoning romance with "I can't tell why she looks so much better this season but she does," Sarah and once they started to get close he freaked out and moved all of his stuff out of her room without explaining why. This was all detailed on the after-show, and Sarah still seemed to have no idea how she went from "completing his picture" to him moving out of her room overnight. 5. "Tending to misinterpret reality or to have distorted perceptions" The reality is that Alton asked that his team be put in the elimination challenge so he could go home because he "just wanted a free vacation" and "doesn't need the money" (10 points). Then, when his team was put in the elimination challenge, he decided not to participate. None of this made any sense. Honestly, how do you lobby to be put in the challenge so you can go home, get put in the challenge, and then remove yourself from possible elimination? As if this wasn't a distorted misinterpretation of reality already, when CJ and Zach brought this up (5 points) he got in Zach's face and told him he was going to hurt him. Anyone who thinks he is going to hurt Zach and isn't carrying a bazooka is greatly misinterpreting reality. 6. "Having odd beliefs or magical thinking" I am giving Alton a pass on this one. If I had dominated The Challenge with the grace and ease that he had in previous incarnations of America's fifth professional sport, I would think I was pretty magical as well. So, in conclusion, we have learned that Alton is a disco-lumberjack-stoner-figure skater with schizotypal personality disorder, and is basically a male version of Lil' Kim. I think that makes Irulan Biggie Smalls and Sarah Lil Cease. Perfect. Frank (The Challenge, Simmons), 20 points: Frank the Alcopsychoholic is dominating this season. As a no. 1 pick in the GRTFL draft should, Frank finds his way into the middle of every conflict in the house (5 x 2 = 10 points). There is a little part of me that thinks he is doing it for the cameras -- but there is a bigger part of me that thinks he's just a conflict-loving loon. His best work from this episode came during a kitchen argument with Dustin. (For those who don't remember: Dustin was a straight, football-playing southerner who revealed a gay-**** past on Real World). This argument was like a well-orchestrated piece of classical music; it had early peaks, tension-building nuances in the middle, and glorious climax: Frank the Alcopsychoholic: "I would love for your boy to come step to me. I would love to see you step to me in the streets, Dustin." (Really? The "streets," Frank?) Dustin: "Don't go there." Frank the Alcopsychoholic: "I would love to see it." Dustin: "I would love to knock your block off." (Did he just say "Knock your block off"?) Frank the Alcopsychoholic: "Then do it. I'm right here and I'm not afraid of you. Go ahead, Dustin, seriously, go ahead." Dustin: "You'd love it, wouldn't you?" Frank the Alcopsychoholic: "I bet you're dying to get your hands on a man again!" What a finishing line. So personal. So ... perfect. I feel like if either candidate had just slipped that into one of the debates he would have won every single state. Dustin (The Challenge, Simmons), 15 points: Sorry. The paragraph about Dustin scoring for that verbal argument (5 points) and winning a challenge (10 points) couldn't be here this week. It is still reeling from Frank's "get your hands on a man again" comeback. CJ (The Challenge, House), 15 points: OK, this week's GRTFL Top Five is the Top Five Questions I Need Answered About CJ, listed from "just wondering" to "I need to know the answer to this to move on with my day the same way I need to fix a bunch-up in my sock on the bottom of my foot": 5. Did I really just read a website that called you "the top punting instructor in Florida"? 4. Were you actually on American Ninja Warrior? 3. Do you really think you would win a fight against Alton? (5 points) 2. If working out is "your life," why did you puke during the Insane Games? (10 points) 1. Dude, why are you always wearing eye black? Seriously, why are you wearing eye black in every episode? I have worn eye black before. It does absolutely nothing. Nany (The Challenge, Simmons), 10 points: I give the producers of The Challenge a lot of **** in this column, so it is only right that I give them due credit when they pull off something as amazing as the Insane Games. What were the Insane Games? A series of stupid challenges that could only be the product of a very long meeting that involved the whole staff and a half-ounce of marijuana. Some quotes from this imaginary meeting: "You know what? [Inhales from joint.] I always liked in Ben Hur when they raced in those chariots, can we do that? But like with dudes wearing stupid rubber horse masks instead of horses?" "You know those cones that keep dogs from eating their own *********? Let's get those involved. What? I don't know how, dude! I just want those cone things involved." "Have I ever told you that I have super-strong ears? Like, the strongest ears ever? Let's do an ear-strength challenge." "I want them to sword fight. [Pauses for bong rip.] But, like [exhales] with fish." Oh yeah, Nany won the elimination challenge (10 points), but who cares? INSANE GAMES! If next year isn't The Challenge: Insane Games, where they invite back the most insane people to compete in the most insane challenges, then the producers are either bad at their jobs or just out of weed. Knight (The Challenge, Lisanti), 10 points: Knight puked too (10 points)? What is it with all thi***haustion puking? I WANT DRUNKEN PUKING! Zach (The Challenge, Lisanti), 5 points: "Alton gets under my skin because he walks around thinking he is the greatest thing since sliced bread and he's just an old **** that's lucky he gets to call this home (5 points)." This is the Challenge equivalent of LeBron James dunking on Michael Jordan, tearing his jersey off, and spitting on him. Guard, changed. via
Didn't one of Alton's siblings (I think his brother) get killed or die somehow ? I think I heard that and if that's the case, maybe he just never got over something like that...
Yep, his brother was raped and killed. I can imagine something like that can seriously mess someone up.
He was 13 at the time though, so if he was normal on his other seasons I don't think he would start acting out now.
I don't think Johnny and Ev are friends though. And Johnny even admits his behavior on the Island challenge was disgusting. So I noticed alot of folks are interpreting Alton a certain way in this episode based on actions that I view happened in a different way. I'm not saying I'm right or others are wrong nor vise versa. If you can let me in on what I very well could have missed or misunderstood it would be greatly appreciated. With the whole Alton wanting to go home and then not going into the elimination deal this is how I saw it go down. Alton wanted to go home and presented this to his team letting them know of his intention to throw an elimination thus sending him and his fellow team member home. It was basically decided that if that is how it went down it would've been Alton and Nany going into the arena and going home. Nany expressed her displeasure with this outcome and said that she didn't want to throw an elimination and get sent home on purpose. She then requested Dustin to be her partner in the arena because she knew he would try and not just quit like Alton. Alton then left the decision up to the team with the knowledge that if he went in he would not try. Dustin stepped up for Nany knowing she did not want to go in with Alton knowing he would throw it. Alton never tried to get out of the arena or get Dustin to take his place he just simply said he didn't want to be there anymore and if put in an arena he would get his ticket out. I don't see how Frank CJ and Zach nor the response I'm getting from some fans can say that Alton is a coward because of that. I'm not saying Alton is totally in the clear this season he is as just to blame for what has transpired as everyone else involved, but I feel like Alton is being wrongly potrayed as "backing out of an elimination and making Dustin step in for him". That's just not the way I saw it go down.

It is smart for people to attack Alton after the fact because he is not on twitter or the podcast thing and therefore wont respond. If almost any other cast member is dissed it will turn into a beef and take a mind of its own. Thats why there is so much hate on Alton, with some of it probably being deserved, and even more just cowardly talk.
I can't stand Frank and Zach, but I still don't think they're as bad as JEK. At least most of the people Frank and Zach are "picking on" are people their own size (Alton, Dustin, Trey, etc.). They go after mostly other "alpha males". Doesn't make it okay, but JEK had no problem putting down ANYBODY, no matter who it was. Not to mention, two of them have allegedly committed sexual assault...
lol. Zach is 6'3 250lbs. Alton is 5'9 180 Trey is 5'8 175 Zito is 5'11 180 If you're talking about Frank then yeah Frank is a reasonable size to be 'picking' on these guys, the dude is about 5'10-5'11, 190 lbs. I just can't wait till JEK comes back and regulates on Frank & Zach's *****. But in the meantime, from what I can tell from the previews, CJ will give Zach a little taste of his own medicine (:
This is a weird season. Entertaining, but weird. Frank understands the intricacies of being a real-life troll like no other person I've seen on this show. Still, people oughta lighten up. They all oughta lighten up. As good as drama is for television and ratings, it'd be nice to see people having fun. That's the kinda thing that offsets the drama and makes the drama that much more... dramatic. When dramatic events are buffered by the competitions and some light-hearted stuff in between, the "OH NO THEY DIDN'T" factor of the drama is that much more potent. Now it's like "Whoa... Frank was gettin' in everybody's face in episode 1! Crazy! Oh man... Frank's at it again! Talk about a game changer!" then after seeing it every episode it's more like "Oh... Frank is getting in Alton's face now.... ... ... And Alton's feelings are hurt... oh, they're not going to the beach? Drag... Oh, Frank said something to bait Zito... I wonder where that will inevitably lead." In conclusion, Frank knows how to get in people's heads, which is good for his game, but he bums me OUT... I wish Isaac was on this one... he would be welcome comic relief.
