Dustin is just so harmless. I don't see how anyone is bothered by him. He does not have a malicious bone in his body. I don't doubt that whatever happens during the rest of the season has to do with Zach or Frank being *******s. I LOLed during his TH when he was talking about cleaning up Alton's mess. He just seemed so serious and confused, lol. He gets so into his confessionals.
Anyone else see that ********* refers to themselves as "CanDiego" on twitter. So annoying.
I am disappointed in Alton. However, like RW101516?, can see how Alton is just fed up with everything. And I completely agree with what she as saying about the difference in the older and newer challenges. People like Frank and Zach just ruin it for everyone. Anyone else think that Frank talking about being happy Alton was on the challenge in the beginning (during the aftershow) was him basically saying what a fanboy he was and he was excited that supervet Alton was on the show?
Frank was obviously bullied as a kid and not loved by his parents, that is why he acts the way he does. He got lucky and was put on a challenge with a bunch of his friends. If Johnny and CT were on this season he would just be a dramatic whiney ***** like he was in San Diego.
I wonder if Frank actually lifted the heaviest team? Zach's a big guy... however Ashley is really tiny. And where Devyn, Sarah, and Chet aren't large by any normal means, I feel they may be bigger than Sam and Ashley weight wise. I almost feel JD may have lifted the heaviest. (?) But Frank impressed me regardless since he took that round instead of Zach.
I'm also glad to see a challenge where it helped to have only 2 people on a team, but I really thought Knight blew it when he landed flat on his face in the first 5 seconds. I would have preferred to see Team Austin or even Fresh Meat for that matter win power team as a duo, but it's nice to see that teams of two aren't sitting ducks.
Alton was just a plain Idiot this episode. He put his team in the line of fire and doesn't step up? That is just Beyond ****ty and also Everyone else has a right to be mad at him too because he kept calling them little kids... First of all everyone there is an adult. Second of all he's only 32(If I'm not Mistaken) so he isn't even that much older than them. So he needs to knock it off..And also That whole "if one person doesn't want go out then noone goes out" thing is just stupid and unfair. They need to change that.
LOVED this challenge. It took me back to the Golden Years of this show. When all the challenges were crazy and fun(but also required ability). They really need to do more of these so that EVERYONE has a shot of winning. Not Just a select few...Also Kudos to Knight and Jemmye for winning.
Frank didn't really bother me all that much..I mean his fight with Alton and Dustin in the beginning was unecessary but I wasn't irritated by it.
Overall this episode was great. Much better than the last 2.
Also did anyone see that little montage of Dustin and Alton on the After show? That was the funniest thing in the world(it was also kinda hot too).
I loved the Challenge this episode. I'm still chuckling when I think back to all of the games! *lol*Can't even decide which one was the most hilarious. If in the earlier seasons most challenges were that funny I guess I started to watch this show too late. :-/ But what can you do - I'm pretty young and from Europe so it popped up on my radar just a few seasons ago.
I kind of liked Dustin on his RW season but this Challenge he has started to really grow on me. He's just too adorable and loyal. His protectiveness and support for Nany is impressive.
Frank and Zach - I don't even want to talk about them. I'm over them. I'm especially over Frank. Each and every time he opens his mouth I fastforward. He's too vicious for my taste. He does not have a personality I want to see on my TV screen. I don't like all the overdramatic nonesense. Bring back the fun! Glad that the preview for the next episode hints at an entertaining night for the challengers - thanks to Brooklyn. Thank god and here's hope it will be as good as it seems.
1. I'm pretty sure the outcome would have been the same if Marie went against Sarah instead of Laura.
2. Alton could have actually thrown that elimination round and I STILL probably would like him. I just always have and it will be hard to change my mind.
3. I am 100% convinced that everything Frank does or says on these shows is strictly for the camera. I don't believe anything about that guy.

Seriously, Nany and Dustin looked out for Trishelle in this one. Trishelle is only looking out for herself, and so is Alton. Nany and Dustin are some great teammates. Dustin was a bit annoying on RW, but he’s redeemed himself a lot since (on Exes and on this)
Zach is a coward, using his height to intimidate Alton. I wonder if he’d step up to someone his own size. And his one liners are just gross and dumb, not even funny.

There's always one detail on the spoilers that's wrong for about every season (Derrick vs. Abram, T-Bone not being an elimination round, Cara Maria/Abram going home second to last) so with stricter social media guidelines, it's not surprising that it's hard to pinpoint who goes home when.
Keep in mind that Trey/Laura were found on Twitter before any of the Fresh Meat people were found so they probably actually were discovered at the right time, but because their season was airing, it was hard to say if they were given permission to tweet.

No, it is not hard to say if they were given permission to tweet. They were given permission to tweet. The social media ban for the rest of the cast members didn't end until filming finished.

Trey and Laura were discovered because of other people, not because of their own tweets.
Alton's bluster about being older and more mature comes off as insecurity. This is a fairly young cast, and Alton is definitely one of the older competitors (if not the oldest), and I think he is very conscious of it. Let me preface this by saying that I don't follow their lives, and so I am not privy to the type adults many of the older cast mates have become, but based on Alton's last challenge (a long long time ago), I felt that he had greatly matured since his Vegas days. Much like Sarah, I was of the impression that he's become this type of hippy nature, let's be peaceful type of fella. A lot of his actions in this last episode totally changed that. He was definitely like the Alton of old, and it's a bit disconcerting to see that part of his personality at odds with the one we were presented with earlier.
It doesn't mean I don't want him to win, but it goes to show that people really don't change.
I never watched St. Thomas RW, but I've kind of cheered them on since they seem to be the fringe underdogs. I don't understand why, but their group comes across so bland and boring? Same with many of the other teams. I guess I'm still lamenting the lack of older cast members. I'm surprised that I've been tuning in every week, but there's not much that I usually watch on TV anymore, so I've been glued to the TV every Wednesday. That, and I really want the show to succeed so that we can continue getting more challenges.
I just think the game has changed more than Alton has realized and perhaps he is frustrated with it. I mean, even I'm frustrated with seeing it. I just hate Frank and Zach's attitude. They call him cocky and arrogant, yet they are even more so, without anything to prove it by, except being the "leaders" of a rookie alliance.
People may have hated JEK, but they are doing the exact same thing, perhaps even worse. They have this sense of entitlement that is just baffling for me to understand.
I don't think Alton should give up though, because of how much it would affect his team. I think he should just fight it through and show them how much of a good competitor he can be, but I do understand not wanting to stay in the house. I would be highly upset if I were in a situation where a bunch of 19-24 year olds are trying to boss around everyone in something when they themselves have no experience in it.
I don't know where Zach gets off telling Alton he's lucky to get a call, because as far as I recall Alton has been on some of the highest rating challenges/seasons of RW while Zach's own sucked.
If you remember back to Alton's hayday of challenges (Gauntlet 2 sticks out most predominately in my mind) the drama was much less serious and the entire experience was much more fun and based on the acual competition rather than he said/she said bs in the house.
I think he wants to leave because he did not come on the show to be involved in dramatic high school kid antics. He stated himself that he does not need the money and the trip was more of just a vacation to enjoy; more like the old school challenges he comes from where that's how the entire cast viewed it.
I can understand him not wanting part in it but he should stay in the game for his teammates if nothing else. It's sad but I'm feeling like now this will be the last season Alton appears in. Now that he's seen what the show has become since he left I can't see him having any interest in coming back. Who knows though I guess we'll see.

Let's also not forget that these houses drive you crazy. They are set up to make you crack. A huge part of the reason people like Frank and Zach going nuts on people is because they are bored and mentally, they are in a strange place. They get their enjoyment out of stirring the pot and making good tv. People fall head over heels in love and all kinds of **** because they are put in this crazy situation.

You make good points. Alton does come from a Diffrent time in the challenges. A time where it was more a vacation and the people who were doing them saw it as just that. But It's not like that anymore and It's a bit of a shock to his system to see how things change and the people have changed. And that may be why he wanted to go home so bad..But It still doesn't justify putting his team in Danger and Disrespecting everyone by calling them Children.(I know you never said that that was right but I was just saying).

And yes the slow motions scenes were fantastic. That was one of the best put together episodes in a long time. Whoever directed/editied that that did a great job.

I totally agree. I was also really excited to see Zach perform athletically, but he really hasn't done anything impressive so far. Still can't believe he didn't pull his team's chariot. For the physical condition he's in...and all the smack he talks...he should be doing more.

This is a really interesting point. Remember in his season when he would cry/throw things/act a fool whenever anyone didn't like or accept him? In this challenge, as you say, he's pretty much surrounded by friends. In a more hostile environment I think he'd crumble pretty quickly.
Every episode makes me dislike Frank even more. I wish I was a cast member so I could confront him in person on a challenge. It's getting really annoying. Alton's already proved himself on prior challenges. I can, however, see the frustration other cast members have with Alton though.
I'm glad this mission didn't involve falling onto the water harshly, yay.

He went from being such a little******* on San Diego crying about people not accepting his sexual orientation or wanting to be his friend. He was "so anti-bully", but now he's talks so much ****** about Alton, Trey, Dustin & Heather.
Frank is the most hypocritical person I have ever seen on television.

Exactly. I'm not really fond of any of their or Frank's behavior, but I think Frank gets unjustly vilified because he is what everybody is seeing right now, and his admittedly horrible season is also still fresh in memory. But his character display is not even nearly as bad as Johnny's on The Island...including some other vets their. And I'm not even getting into the the treatment of the women on the Ruins, particularly Sarah and Tonya.
And before anyone says it: I know that a lot of cast members get along extremely well with them, but that's the same with Frank.
