So Bacchus, how's that sandbagging for 1st choice of WW picks each week working for you? At some point it has to start paying dividends right? :)

My first 3 picks (CJ, SJAX, Jennings) aren't even really playing at this point so until they do I might as well just make myself comfortable. ;)
Bring it on B. Battle of the ****ty teams begins ;)
Bring it on B. Battle of the ****ty teams begins
It's the second quarter of the early games and I can say I think I've already lost.
It's the second quarter of the early games and I can say I think I've already lost.
Funny because I was thinking the same thing...
I hate the Ravens offensive game plan. Flacco has 17 pass attempts right now and only 1 more yard than Ray Rice who has 7 carries. They hate running the football for some reason.
Funny because I was thinking the same thing...
I actually had one guy show up this week so you'll need 11 points per player down the stretch to squeak out a win! :D
I actually had one guy show up this week so you'll need 11 points per player down the stretch to squeak out a win! :D
And I didn't realize one of my guys had a bye. I'm putting all my hope in the Jets defense....which is a long stretch. Especially since they are playing Houston.
So close, yet so far away...
So close, yet so far away...
You'll be up to 94 points at kickoff! :wink2:
You'll be up to 94 points at kickoff!
But it's the Jets...that'll quickly go down.
Okay, I've been trying to figure this out for about an hour...where is the list of players that are still available. Am I blind? Because last year the site naigation was NOT this difficult...
Click on the Players link/tab on the top menu. By default it'll show only Free Agents. You can select positions to narrow it down further. It sorts by points earned so far this year, which is not always the best indicator of how well a player will do in the future.
The way Aereas said is how I normally go about things (just clicking players.) I'll also hover and click on roster trends to see what other owners in all the leagues are doing.
Thanks guys! Knew someone would at least know. I haven't been able to put as much time into Fantasy Football this year and it's obviously showing.
Well looks like you have a sure win this week!
Well looks like you have a sure win this week!
I wouldn't speak too soon, lol.
I haven't been able to put as much time into Fantasy Football this year and it's obviously showing.
I don't mind....MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Interesting stat... The last pick of the draft, C.J. Spiller has scored more points than my first three picks (Chris Johnson, Steven Jackson and Greg Jennings) combined.
Interesting stat... The last pick of the draft, C.J. Chris Johnson was only good, maybe even great, the first season he played. After that everyone caught on to exactly what he'd do every time he got the ball.
I am in 2nd to last at 1-4, but I still like my team more than anyone else's team except for maybe Wallflowers, who is somehow also under .500.
He (Wallflowers) screwed up and somehow added a 3rd RB to his lineup after he had already won the week, but before all games were completed. So he took an auto-loss. He should be 3-2 and ZombieSquirrels should be 3-1-1. You have a solid team Cody. Obviously you've been really unlucky with points scored against you, and you're 12th in the league in Coach Rating so you've missed some opportunities to start Guy B instead of Guy A (Luck/Schaub I'd guess). Your potential points up through 5 weeks is actually 9 pts higher than mine so it's just a matter of guessing right. A big part of it will also hinge on AP remaining healthy enough to be an every-down back, and Harvin continuining to be the guy he was supposed to be 2 years ago (He was soooooo ugh for me during the last couple of years).

I didn't play Peterson in week 1. I played Rashad Jennings, who ironically got hurt early in the game. 2. Luck/Schaub has killed me 3. The week where Brian Hartline decided to go crazy and Percy Harvin scored like 3 points (because it didn't count his kick return) 4. The first 2 weeks where Miles Austin was on my bench and I still had Jordy Nelson I have been favored in the last 3 weeks, yet I have gone a mediocre 1-2.
And Chris Johnson just scores a touchdown. Bacchus...how do you feel about that?
And Chris Johnson just scores a touchdown. Bacchus...how do you feel about that?
It is a shame he gave up Chris Johnson for so little. Had I known he was shopping Chris Johnson for a QB2, I would have gladly offered Schaub. He could have possibly gotten Cam Newton also.
And Chris Johnson just scores a touchdown. Bacchus...how do you feel about that?
He could cough up a couple balls and get taken for a 20 yard loss before it is all over... Besides, next week he'll rush for 2 yards on 15 touches. If I can't trust a guy to start on a weekly basis, he's worthless to me.
It is a shame he gave up Chris Johnson for so little. Had I known he was shopping Chris Johnson for a QB2, I would have gladly offered Schaub. He could have possibly gotten Cam Newton also.
There really isn't much light between Roethlisberger and Schaub this season - but with what light there is Roethlisberger has been the better player from a fantasy perspective. As for CJ, the season is quickly approaching the halfway point (as he still has a bye) and the guy is averaging 5.6 points a game. I'd much rather take a shot at players off the waiver wire (like Morris who has been a tank for me) then have Chris "I might show up this week" Johnson take up a roster spot. It also removes the weekly stigma of having to wring my hands over starting him or not. Sure, he scored a touchdown this week. That brings him to a grand total of ONE.
Sure, he scored a touchdown this week. That brings him to a grand total of one...
I wasn't saying he's amazing, but I just found it funny that you drop him and then he starts to improve :D
...and an 83 yard touchdown.
Yeah, Buffalo's defense is so bad that it is a flashblack to the 2009 version of CJ
Yeah, Buffalo's defense is so bad that it is a flashblack to the 2009 version of CJ
Exactly. Their run defense is 32 of 32 in the NFL.
