You're talking about a guy who claims he got a hockey scholarship from a school that does not give out athletic scholarships. He has a PHD in embellishing the truth.
I agree with you. CT refusing to engage in bashing war with those who continually trash him says a lot about his character. When you bash someone, it says more about you than the person you are bashing. I think Evan is salty about the pregnant comment. He seems like someone who can dish it but not take it.
Plus CT's eliminated Evan twice, the only two times he's ever been eliminated I'm pretty sure.
I'm not impressed. If someone like Davis or Adam says the same thing, CT is ready to smash. Commendable - gimme a break. Sounds more like commercialism to me.
You are the biggest CT hater hahahaha, he went at Kenny when he hit his nose. Did you only watch the two episodes where he hit Adam and Davis, or even those episodes beyond when he threw the punch?

I don't think you are correct. There are others of equal measure, including those among the extended cast.
I think Evan was alluding to drug use. Kenny has mentioned it on podcasts about CT as well. 2nd podcast i have heard Evan tell that same story too. They love bashing them some CT
Which podcast was this? Honestly I would believe it though,
no offense to CT but if most if other cast members say he does it (like Aneesa on the reunion) then I would believe them over him
and I don't really think Evan lies, he seems to not care about other people's business and just tells stories that reveal personal things but I don't think he would just make it up, and most of his stories are of things he saw, he also said Wes is a pot head on a podcast, which apparently is true cause Ev mentioned it too on the Ustream thing.
he also said Wes is a pot head on a podcast, which apparently is true cause Ev mentioned it too on the Ustream thing.
Haha, really? That makes me like Wes a little more than before.
Haha, really? That makes me like Wes a little more than before.
Lol not me I'm not into those weird *** stoners, but its kinda obvious. If you saw him on Austin and FM1, he looked like a pot head, I bet most frat kids are/were. Evan said 1st thing ppl do when they land is Wes is finds a way to buy weed and Dunbar installs a chin up bar lol. But saying some one does cocaine or whatever is a bit more serious, so hopefully he isnt making that up. And I'm surprised production even lets them smoke weed in the house, maybe its because they're in a different country? Luke from fm2 always looked stoned too.

That's a very broad generalization...
That's a very broad generalization...
It is, but come on, like 90% of people try it in college and the party kids definitely try it more than others. But yes generalization but I'll stand by it and say its very likely, maybe they're not complete pot heads but they probably use casually. Its not a huge deal in college. lol anyways back to CT....hope he wins exes
It's funny how quiet the CT lovers got on this site.
Ct just pulled off the biggest choke job in rw/rr challenge history.
You've been trying to get a rise out of "CT fans" in almost every thread. I would suggest stopping that.
yeah brah! CT completely blew it. Blew it big time! I was in disbelief when he was sucking wind. Johnny beat him fair and square. I am perhaps one of CT's biggest admirers, but I have to admit that this is 10000% his fault. He did spent a ton of his energy digging those holes and walking through the snow. But NO excuses man he was AWFUL when it counted the most. Johnny, in my opinion , is now a top 10 all time competitor
Yeah. When I was watching it, I was trying to figure out what was happening to him that caused him to slow down. Fact is, Johnny beat him cleanly. There wasn't anyone to blame. No excuses.
Perhaps townie will have a ready explanation for:
1) his posting of Diem "hate" all season when clearly he didn't know how well Chris and Diem would work together in the 2nd half of the season; and,
2) how Chris' failure to finish first is not really his fault.
Personally, I have admiration for Chris and Diem's ability to produce decent reality TV while keeping focused on the prize -- the money.
Congrats to Johnny first of all. I think i like Johnny a ton more when it's him away from Evan/Kenny/derrick. He can be a leader, and i feel like he takes a back seat to them sometimes. With an upcoming challenge coming possibly soon, doubt Evan/Kenny are on it again. But i have no clue. Is Johnny going to be on every single one though for the rest of the challenge? I bet he is game. NO matter the theme they can invent him a partner.
Honestly from what CT was saying on interviews after, I am surprised they even finished second. He was basically a zombie at that point, so props to them for 2nd. That team had the biggest awkwardness by far, and came away with 50k a piece.
I think CT gets so amped up before finals/elimination rounds, he can use 100 percent of his speed/strength in elimination rounds and can be so strong for that period of time and dominant. But over a long period of time, it is impossible to keep up that level of intensity, where in eliminations you can. He just isn't/wasn't smart enough to realize that it's a final, it's going to be long and a marathon not a sprint. He needs to figure out when to turn on his crazy balls out competitiveness, and when to pace himself, or i can see it happening again in a final no matter how good of shape he is in. Sustaining the pace he was on at the start the whole 14 miles was never going to happen, for anyone. But most people would realize it is a marathon, not a sprint.
Ultimately, he chose to pace himself that way, he has no one else to blame but himself, so did he exert himself a ton at the start doing all that physical labor/eating, yes. But no one asked him to mad dash at the start knowing how long the rivals final was,it was not a smart strategy. My guess is he got over amped like he does before eliminations, but eliminations are not a 14 mile hike up a mountain. He just didn't think it through and went balls out. Bad move, but yet predictable for a guy who is self admittedly known for being his own worst enemy. Any mistakes/bad decisions Diem made on the show don't really matter, because when it counted the most, she killed it and put them in a position to get first at the end. I would def want her on my team in a final...During missions/challenges, not so much. But just like Kenny, the final is when it counts the most.
To me whether Johnny meant to be behind and follow his footsteps, or was realizing the whole time no one can sustain that pace he was setting or he had no chance anyway, he had a good strategy and it doesn't even matter if he meant to because it worked. He won fair and square. He said on the afterbuzz radio show that he wished they focused more on his/Johnny's enemy turned friends storyline rather than so much with him/Diem. But it's obvious why they did for drama sake.
Ct is hilarious though he has some of the best interview quotes/one liners on the show. I wonder what Evan/Kenny think of the new BFF's Johnny/CT? Can't he just get 1 win before the show ends, just 1!!! Whether it's D1 dq that f'ed him and Beth, Big easy, Adam gassing out, finally his partner is setting the pace and he gasses out, just doesn't seem meant to be. Even if he gets 1, the he has 0 wins thing ends. Even if he is 1 for 11 or whatever it may end up being. 1 still goes a long way with his reputation and elimination round intimidation. My opinion of him really hasn't changed, next challenge no one still will want to face him in elimination, he may even get a free ride to final anticipating his collapse, but that could get him some money. So if anything, this can get the target off his back big time. But an extra 25k would prob be better haha.
Johnny deserved that victory, no one can take that from him, the guy really stepped up and had a strategy. CT had a great start but I guess he didn't realize how long the race would be. I was surprised how he was able to go that far in that mountain being a hardcore smoker, I thought that he wouldn't make it to the finish line.
IMO if Johnny reunites with Kenny or Evan in another challenge he will not hesitate to throw CT under the bus, we know how Johnny plays his game and he is loyal only to Kenny and Evan. Like CT said, they don't know how to differentiate the game from the friendship. CT and Johnny can be bff's but at the end of the day in the challenges they will always put a big target on CT's back.

It wasn't just the fact Johnny beat him...it was Camilla too.
The final lap/mile was a race between CT and Camilla on a freaking STICK!!
Yeah pretty disappointing finish by Ct as it was his fault for finishing 2nd but its been a while since he's been in the new format finals. I'd expect him to use this as a learning experience and if he's ever in another finals, the same thing won't happen. At least he knows now what is expected of a final challenge and try to up the cardio/smoking ratio

Are you guys really that surprised? We were all rambling a few weeks ago about how he smokes all day and that its hard to believe he would have the endurance of some marathon runner, which he obviously doesnt. But people are always making CT out to be this god among man that he was somehow anatomically different, no he's human. People were like oh he works out so much that it compensates for the smoking, ya bull****. He's very strong no doubt but obviously someone smoking 10 packs a day cant last in a final. But whatever its not like most of us can run those finals, I know I'd pass out after like 10 minutes :P

This is a B.S excuse because CT's smoking habits didn't affect him on the Gauntlet 3.
CT simply choked big time with 1 mile to go. Has anyone ever let victory slip from their hands so close to the finish line?
LOL, on the next big team challenge, CT's teammates could say he can't finish a final challenge just like Eric aka Big Easy.

Not an excuse, but he said he didn't have as much time as usual to train for this one as Rivals for example. So he admittedly wasn't where he wanted to be as far as endurance. His fault though if he is off on some party tour and agrees to do a challenge.
But if G3 was like 5-10 years ago you don't think 5 plus extra years of smoking doesn't have any effect at all? Also how much more intense are today's finals rather than G3's? It's a bad excuse because he did it to himself smoking all these years, but yet it is part of an explanation of why he struggled with endurance.

Those are still excuses for him. Your first paragraph could be said for every challenger that has since the beginning .
Paula smokes too and she did great on every final she's been in.

It's not an excuse if I am saying reasons that are his own doing for why he lost. I didn't say Johnny messed with his skis before he used them or anything. He seems to find a way to lose, or someone does for him. Stars just can't align for the guy, no matter what. Since you won't accept any vantage point other than biggest choker in history, i won't go back and forth on this, i'll leave it at this. I have never heard any castmember comment how they are amazed Paula is so athletic with all she smokes. I have heard that from almost everyone regarding CT. You failed to have any comment on the whole g3 thought though. Not all finals are treated equally. You hate CT, we get it.
I just threw up in my mouth. You're right he got beat but not fair and square.
How was it not fair and square? They got done with their puzzles long before Johnny and Camilla. Johnny and Camilla were far behind him and they caught up to him and passed him. What was possibly holding him back? Diem? No, because she most likely would have smoked everybody if she was by herself. BTW, looking at the editing, it seemed like she was the one solving most of the puzzle too. So if anything, he was holding her up.
I just threw up in my mouth. You're right he got beat but not fair and square.
CT did lose fair and square. I just feel bad for Diem being held back by him..she's the one that didn't get beat fair and square.
I did have a feeling that CT would gas out in the finals because he looked like he was dying at the wedding challenge when they had to run to the finish line. Hopefully in the next challenge if CT gets invited, he will quit the smokes and learn from this.
Oh and do you guys think he CT would've gassed out if he and Adam K were in the finals in Rivals?

With the way the final was arranged, I think CT would've entered beast mode on Day 2, up that mountain. :p

Yeah, I think he would have, though we can't know for sure.
