My best case scenario is getting 2nd place. I have no shot at first place because Bacchus has the rest of the tournament playing out the exact same way I do and he has a 90 point advantage over me.
I am pretty chocked that i'm in 3rd place right now because my bracket is pretty bad. Where I really hurt myself was the west region considering I had Louisville getting beat in round 1.
Standing ovation for Molds13 who has roared up from the bottom this round.
Indiana was impressive even though they lost. That game last night was a shoot out. I'd actually give them Kansas' spot if I could.

She always finds a way to sneak right back up at the end.
And as much as I'd love to see a Kentucky/Louisville game, I'd rather Baylor just get Kentucky out of there ;)

While winning might be out of the question, you could always...
I honestly can't see Baylor coming back from this, especially if Kentucky keeps up what they are doing. How lame.
Of course not--they have ugly uniforms. The white uniform team always wins against ugly :)
Tonight's game is the one that has me on pins and needles. Kansas played so bad the other night, I am not liking their prospects against the Tarheels.
UK in the Final 4 again !! bwahahaha
Kentucky should win it all. There are no moral victories for making the Final Four when your team is as loaded as Kentucky is.

But remember now..."UK is young and inexperienced" and "Calipari can't coach and he just rolls the balls out in practice" and "UK is dirty and they cheat"..that's what commentators, analysts, and most fans of other teams have to say about UK ...and I'm just laughing so hard at those critics/idiots right now.
Plus, UK is loaded but all four of the Final 4 teams are really great...next Saturday/Monday will be three very exciting and awesome games to watch.
Ballinbroke has knocked Bacchus off from the #1 spot--that's the upset of the Dance!!!
Now I just need Kansas to pull off one more. Kentucky is inevitable. I hate them, but destiny is destiny.
Thanks to UNC killing my bracket, I lost a major bet. I had to make another youtube video, and my roomate wanted me to make it a thread on vevmo.
ARGH!!

Too bad I had Missouri going to the finals. If Kentucky wins the finals, then I'm screwed since a lot of people had them going farther than just the final 4.
But, I'd also like to mention that I had Cincinatti beating Florida State!

...and just as many people are all out putting the crowns on their head before this weekend, so it goes both ways.
I actually thought in the 2nd half Baylor could have closed the gap, but they made a lot of boneheaded plays. Kentucky left the door open by playing most of that half on cruise control.
So the consensus is Kentucky but do we think anyone else has a shot?

Not more screwed than me, I had them winning.
I still say that Norfolk St was the biggest fluke ever. Mizzou shoots over 50 percent both from 2 and 3 and still lose.

And rightfully so..UK is 36-2 (Best record in the NCAA)..15-2 vs. NCAAT teams and 7-0 vs. this year's Elite 8 teams and 2-0 vs. this year's Final 4 teams. UK's got the top 2 draft picks plus 4 players that were in the Final 4 last year..they should be the favorites...it's understandable. But the garbage I put in quotes above that people and some "experts" and "analysts" and sports writers do say is completely ridiculous...every bit of it.
To your question..all 4 teams in the Final 4 are playing great...but the winner of the Ohio St/Kansas game absolutely has a shot. I look for UK to beat UL and for the Championship game to be 50/50.

Maybe Ohio State. Kansas doesn't have a deep bench and has been shooting inconsistently, especially from the 3 point range. Kentucky has had a 100 point game in the tourney, and is strong on defense, and can run the floor from start to finish. I don't know a lot about OSU, but I don't see Kansas realistically being able to hang with Kentucky unless Kentucky has a really horrible game.

Missouri has a bad coach who only gives 1 big man (Ratcliffe) a good amount of playing time. They got pounded on the inside because of their small frontcourt. Kyle O'Quinn, Norfolk States best player, destroyed them. I don't think it was fluke, I think that if Mizzou and Norfolk State met 10 times, Missouri would win 8 times.

This is why single elimination tournaments are exciting even if they don't crown the best team. On any day if you have a player go off, control the tempo, catch fire from 3, or play a team on an off game, you can win. This is why you see a ton of big upsets in the early rounds but very few in the later rounds.

Some of this I agree with (the horrible coaching, mainly -- I still don't understand why Haith never put on the full court press) but still, I remember this game being tied, and on the crucial possession Mizzou forced an air ball at the end of the shot-clock, and it just so happens to find O'Quinn on the other side of the rim. He puts it in and gets fouled, so it's a three-point play. A break that went Norfolk's way. And then sad performance Norfolk put up against a gutless Florida team in the next round? I think Mizzou wins that game 9/10 times.

He should have already been charged for theft....of robbing his own team of a Final 4 appearance.
