When I did my bracket, I took the sabermetric approach - but that is out of the window. It is much more fun to see total underdogs destroy brackets. I don't care where I end up. I hate Duke.
My Aztecs out, followed by the Blue Devils, then the Gaels.....who do I root for now? Can't believe all my teams are out already!
You need to pull for Cinderella. LSU was the last 11th seed in 1986 to make it to the final four. Now we have a bunch of teams in the running, 11th or lower, to do so.
That is who you root for, the underdog.

VCU was an 11 seed last year. George Mason was also an 11 seed in 2006.

You are right. I took that straight from the announcers at the game and posted. They were wrong and I should have known better (i.e. not 100% sure of the claim being familiar with recent tourneys.)
Still, we do have a new dynamic this season with this madness.
Just think if you were ballinbroken and picked them to be in the finals, haha.
Edit: Help desk picked them to win.
Over 53% of people picked Missouri to be in the final 4, so it mostly a wash, depending on what happens.
What are you going to do -- Norfolk State played their perfect game with bonus points knocking down like ten threes. I'd still pick Missouri if I had to do it over again. I do think Mizzou should have full court pressed more. But that loss was not nearly as horrible as Duke going down to Lehigh.
I'm mathematically still in the running. My champ is out but still my three other Final Four teams are alive. Kentucky would have to lose before the Final Four, though.
How did they blow the Notre Dame game?
I posted that before I saw the real lane violation, which is another rule I still don't understand
I think Syracuse is going down today. Their first round win was by a hair and technicality.
I hope to be wrong and right. I have them going to the elite 8 in my bracket.

A good scare can rally a team though. Throw a virgin shamrock into a volcano or something to garner some luck.
This is a sign. The best bracket on ESPN right now has the user name, NCSU.

Obviously it won't be the best bracket when NCSU beats Georgetown, heh.
That is the guy's 4th bracket. I am not impressed by a person's bracket unless they only fill out just one. If you fill out enough brackets you can get lucky with one of them.
