I cannot win with these upsets. All the ones I picked so far haven't won. All the ones I ended up not picking are winning.
Don't worry, it's not my day either.

As long as you don't lose teams going deep into the tournament it doesn't matter. If you get a perfect Elite Eight, Final Four, and Champion it is better than being perfect in the first 2 rounds and then having your bracket fall apart.

That is true, but with the major similarities of most of the brackets, elite 8 in - the first round could be the difference.
FSU is getting hammered right now. They look flat and outmatched.
The 96% of us who had them winning in round one breathe a sigh of relief...
Edit: And Fab doesn't quit coming to this thread half way through round one. :)

That's really the best you can ask for when trying to predict the unpredictability of the tournament.
Florida State baby! What a comeback.
How I have not made the connection that UNC's Zeller and IU's Zeller are brothers?
Maybe because they don't play on the same team like the Plumlees of Duke?

The upsets and teams I chose today were completely off and I almost had a heart attack with FSU.
I also had faith in Belmont to pull the upset, but I guess that's what I get for picking my school...did it with them last year as well and I didn't learn from it. Bah!
I can't decide if Norfolk State looks good or if Mizzou just looks really bad.
Norfolk St. preview, From "Tournament Pools":
This is actually a pretty solid team out of the MEAC that has the unfortunate duty of pulling Missouri in the first round. They made sure they scheduled a tough pre-conference slate, but they have not faced anything like they will see with the guard-centric attack of the Tigers. With a different seed I might suggest an upset, but not this year.
PLAYER TO WATCH: Senior Kyle O’Quinn averaged a double-double this year and at 6-10 240, he will be the biggest guy on the court in their game with Mizzou. He is a force blocking shots and will be one guy that you won’t miss if you get a chance to check out their first (and only) tournament game.
KEY WINS: The Spartans started the season strong with a great showing in the Virgin Islands holiday tournament. They beat bubble teams from Drexel and TCU before bowing out in a 2-point loss to Marquette.
FYI Drexel could have arguably been in this tournament, and a 2-point loss to Marquette? Decent pedigree.
Dream all you want but this is not going to be another Jimmy V against all odds race to the Championship season for NC State. I think I have them winning the first couple but that'll be about it for them. Sweet 16 is as far as they're going. They'll beat what I presume will be Georgetown and lose to Kansas who will be playing for the Championship in their stead.
Say what you will, but this guy is going to be laughing all the way to the bank with his bracket!

P.s. Anyone watching the special about Duke on TruTV? Laettner needs a good haircut and some Just for Men. He looks like he is well into his 50's. I'm guessing that undisclosed drug he was using in the NBA has something to do with that.
There goes a final four for me.
That doesn't in the end matter much. I love to see the underdog victorious!
Same here. If I thought I knew college basketball and lost a Final Four team though, I would probably be mad.
Thank you ****ty refs for screwing over one of my final four teams
Just think if you were ballinbroken and picked them to be in the finals, haha.
Edit: Help desk picked them to win.
Over 53% of people picked Missouri to be in the final 4, so it mostly a wash, depending on what happens.
Interestingly enough, there are still two perfect brackets: ESPN - Tournament Challenge
It is a total wash (within our context) beyond x6367. Everyone else picked Missouri for at least final 4.
HMMMMM X6367 such a creative name. Dare I say brillant. Of course I was smart enough not to put Missouri in my final four.
Oh and by the way, thank you Bacchus for at least making me feel a little better, after I may or may not throw my tv remote at the wall after watching the Missouri game.
Oh and also, the remote still works!!
The National bracket has 88.3% of people picking Michigan (including me for a couple rounds) so it would be a coup for those that are believers in the Ohio team.
I just learned today there actually is a University of Ohio. I assumed there was one and was finally proven right!
