Is there ever a time or Tv channel that will air old real worlds, road rules, or challenge seasons?
The Inferno 2 was playing in August on MTVtres. A random marathon was going on. Why can't they do that on MTV or MTV2? :(
How would you rank the past 5 seasons and why?

Cutthroat - Had great drama almost every episode and the best missions in a long time! The eliminations were great too. Very unpredictable all the way through. The camera time was spread out amongst the entire cast so i was never bored with an overplayed storyline.
Rivals - Missions were lame but the drama in the second half of the season was great. Eliminations and final sucked too. But overall great season, kept me on my toes.
The Ruins - First half of the season was amazing but once the entertaining people left, this challenge went in the toilet. Cool eliminations, a lot of lame missions though.
The Duel 2 - Overall a pretty boring challenge. The only drama was that stupid list **** which seemed so pointless. The missions were pretty cool though for the most part.
Fresh Meat 2 - Same as Duel 2 but this was way worst because the exiles and missions were boring to watch.

I have the exact same feelings.
I guess following everyone else's lead, I'll post who I think the this cast will be most similar to in challenges:
Nice comparisons! Although I'd say Nate is probably more like Rivals Evan than say Duel 2 Evan lol.
Zach: Well built, looks really strong. Sports history. Very athletic could be a top threat. Don't know how popular he would be though.
Frank: Also a history in sports, track if I remember correctly. Could see him doing alright but his freak outs could hurt him.
Nate: Seems like a really likable guy, and while he also played football in college like Zach, doesn't seem to measure up the same.
Ashley: Goes to the gym a lot, and looks fit.
Sam: Seems like a tough chick, who still gets along with most. Not sure about her athletic history, but people here are saying she still does sports so maybe she could do well on a challenge.
Alex: Really smart, and a former gymnast. That means core strength and probably very well balanced. She seems petite but if she still has strength from her gymnast days don't let that fool you.
Priscilla: Love her personality, she seems so fun and nice. But athletically doesn't seem like she could hang.

Fresh Meat 2: the first season I ever watched; very entertaining; dramatic cast; unpredictable, especially the finale
Rivals: great cast; disappointingly predictable; I really wish that JEK hadn’t been in control and that CT and Adam had won; lame missions
The Ruins: Wes was an idiot, but it was funny; excellent cast (except for Danny); most comical nomination/deliberations ever (when they voted Ibis in instead of Veronica); the only problem is that the missions were too predictable (champions won almost all of them)
Cutthroat: interesting concept, some of the best missions (bottleneck stampede, surf's up, bed head), not the best cast though
The Duel 2: Evan and Kim were funny, but the rest of cast was boring. Likeable, but boring.
I really enjoy Derrick's podcasts, but does anyone have any idea why he has not down one related to the real world or challenges in over a month? Could this have something to do with Tanya\Kenny\Evan? I was thinking maybe, because Kenny was his cohost many times.

He said in his NFL podcast that they had one recorded about the current Real World season but that they had technical difficulties and lost it.
He just did a podcast with San Diego's Ashley and Hawaii's Ruthie - I have no idea what the topic was, but they were just discussing it on Twitter today.

Cutthroat- The cast wasn't the greatest, it allowed ****** players to take over for once (i.e. Tyler, Dunbar). Coolest challenges I have seen in a long time. New people actually won for the first time in a long time, even tho I hated all the Red Team members that won. Lots of Drama, and the teams were perfectly even also, which was good.
The Ruins- this was the greatest cast of any challenge...ever. The biggest thing I hated was how lopsided the teams were. It was anticipated every episode that the Champions were gonna win. Also, after Episode 5, the challenge crashed into the ground. Loved that they brought back a lot of old school vets.
Rivals- great cast, cool set up. ****ty challenges. Good drama however the whole CT vs. the World thing kinda got old. The guys cast was very even. Example: CT/Adam won 2, Johnny/Tyler won 4, Kenny/Wes won 1, Leroy won 2, it was pretty even in my opinion. However, the girl pairs were terrible. Ev & Paula had it won before the plane landed in Costa Rica. A little too predictable for the girls.
The Duel 2- I loved the location and the winter weather. The challenges were pretty cool, but I hated how 7/10 of the challenges, you had to have a partner. It took the definition out of the DUEL. The cast was awesome. But it was too predictable who the last 5 guys were gonna be. And only 3 guys won throughout the challenge.
Fresh Meat II- The only thing I liked was the cabin winter location. Other than that, the cast sucked, 70% of the Fresh Meat sucked, the challenges sucked, the drama sucked, there was not one positive thing that came from that challenge. Every challenge had to do with water. This will go down as the worst challenge in history.

Rivals-The Rookies actually made an Impact and I liked the guy/guy girl/girl pairings. Paula actually winning(so she hopefully can leave my T.V) and Some of the Challenges were out of the Ordanary. One problem I have is that outside of CT/Adam and Evan/Nehemiah none of the other rivalries seemed to be genuine.
Cutthroat-The only thing that really propels this to 2nd is CT using John as a human backpack was one of greatest challenge moments in a long time. And a Fresh Meat acutally making an Impact on a challenge for once.
Fresh Meat 2-Nothing memorable happend. The whole Wes vs Kenny thing went nowhere and even though this was one of the most strategic season of the challenge IMO. a lot of it was bad gameplay.
Duel 2-Very forgettabe. Only thing worth noting is CT Punching Adam's Face in.
The Ruins-This cast was Decent but this season had a really negative tone and wasn't very fun at all. There was Drama but it just seemed very ****ed up and mean-spirited to me. Also the fact that challenge was basically set up for JEK to take over and win really did not sit well with me at all. To me this is the second worst season of the challenges ever(second only to The Island)

Who exactly? Laurel?
Who exactly? Laurel?
Yep. I really feel like she came into her own on that challenge. Tearing Eric apart verbally. Confronting Abram about Cara Maria. Her plotting with Sarah. She was a Big character that season. And she's one of the Few Fresh Meat that I Wish had a proper season.
Rivals - This was the best challenge since the original Duel IMO. The cast was pretty good, teams were balanced, lots of drama. And for the first time I actually knew a lot of people my age were watching it too, and thats never happened since i've been watching (which was since Fresh Meat)
Cutthroat - I liked this challenge a lot mainly because of the format. I loved the 3 teams. They were very even. I also loved the secret ballet voting into the Gulag. It was great.
The Duel II - This challenge was very competition based, and not alliance based, unlike other challenges. You actually had to be a strong competitor to make it to the end, not just have a strong alliance. The challenges were also cool, and the drama was alright. Cast could of been a little better.
The Ruins - Dont get me wrong, I really liked the first half of this challenge. The cast was fantastic, and lots of drama. But after that, it just wasn't fun to watch anymore. I could of predicted who the winners were going to be halfway through. I also didn't really enjoy the elimination rounds. Some were just really bad.
Fresh Meat II - I can't decide on whether or not I think this is the worst challenge to date, or The Island. It was horrible. I got bored while watching it, challenges were boring, exiles were boring, the cast was boring. I was a little satisfied when Landon & Carley won however because I was expecting Kenny & Laurel to take it. Thats the only good thing from this challenge.
Yep. I really feel like she came into her own on that challenge. Tearing Eric apart verbally.
Color me confused but are you saying this is a good thing?
Color me confused but are you saying this is a good thing?
Oh no I'm not saying it's a good thing. I was just pointing out that that was one of the ways that she stood out during that season. By bringing confrontation.
Also, I just seen that Cara was originally supposed to be on VR. Is that true because it seems random.
Something along the lines of she heard that Kina was also on it and didn't want anything to do with the show at that point is what I heard.
The Inferno 2 was playing in August on MTVtres. A random marathon was going on. Why can't they do that on MTV or MTV2? :(
Oh snap, I forgot, I had MTVTres. Now you tell me. As for why they can't with MTV or MTV 2 is because those were the earlier days and simply they aren't new anymore. If I were to go by LifeAfterBMP logic (i'm not beefing with you here just saying), its because there are "newer viewers".
My reaction to that is like a five year old would say upon hearing a bad word: ooooooooooH she wrong for that. I never knew they had beef.
They clashed heads on the Gauntlet 2.

This may have been posted in the Speculation thread, but I'm keeping myself spoiler free for this one so I figured other spoiler free people might want to know.
I believe that Svetty was replaced by Melinda.
However, wasn't Svetlana a replacement? Of course, she dropped out last minute while the other person gave a little more notice.
Jannelle was the replacement for Svetlana, who was the replacement for Jenn.
I thought Svetty replaced Jenn and then Melinda replaced her.
I could be wrong though. However, I remember being surprised that Jenelle was in the cast because she had just won the Inferno.
Looks great, but Camilla & that boring blonde partner of Wes' are so glaringly out of place as an ex. Hopefully they will be eliminated fast.
Just like on Rivals, there are some duos that are kind of a stretch. At least I can pinpoint when the Wes/Mandi or Johnny/Camilla hook ups took place, I have no idea when Sarah/Vinny hooked up.
Also, from the looks of it, Rachel and Aneena are going to be treated just the same as all of the other teams.
