The Real World: Generic Thread

Austin - Voted the best season at the Real World Awards Bash, and Danny has a pretty touching storyline. Much different from his challenge experiences I feel. 2. Key West - Paula's battle with her eating disorder, Svetlana vs Tyler are both pretty big story lines. Plus the hurricanes played a big role on the season. A lot of actual issues were brought up rather than "this b!tc# stole my one night stand guy" and "I wonder how many ************ hook ups I can score?" I think I'm gonna watch a few very recent seasons. I'm really enjoying San Fransisco (Season 3). Hopefully these newer ones aren't *too* bad.

That's why i enjoyed that season, i like the more laid back ones with the more chill cast members. I also really enjoyed Philly, Brooklyn, Miami, and Boston. I hated Denver, NOLA2, Vegas2, and Cancun.

I think DC landed in the wrong time frame. By the time it aired, people in general were fed up with politics, President Obama, and the whole DC crowd I think. I have wondered if New Orleans bad ratings was because of people also being sick of hearing about them for several years now (and the cast pretty much blew too make it worse).

Well maybe compared to other shows on TV, but compared to D.C., it did pretty well. I remember the ratings kept going up and up and up every episode

Yeah, New Orleans got pretty good ratings. New Orlean average viewers: 1.837 million Las Vegas average viewers: 2.068 million

haha i saw that the other day! never realized how insane that season was.... i love when brooke says "IM IN ****!" and then when shes behind the wall talking about trashing davis' bed... she was psychotic!! **** As for season 27 and 28 (assuming they could be the last.. heres hoping it gets to 30) where do you think they should go next and/or what should they do for the final season? I would love for them to go to: Back to Hawaii and/or Miami Toronto Cape Town Barbados Barcelona Athens And for the final season (if they are absolutely sure it will be the last) i feel like they should 1. Go back to New York where it all started (yes i know Brooklyn was only a few years ago, but still) 2. Have a new cast or returning cast members stay in a third world country, like an area in Africa, and make them live in huts and build houses/schools for the people of the community... i feel it could get very emotional and be very eye opening 3. If it's possible have them travel the globe spending a 4 months in New York, London, Paris, and Sydney... and then getting to vacation in Cancun... sort of like seeing all the places they visited in the past 20 years... (and im not talking The Real U.S.)... and they could just call it "The Real World" without any distinctive place since they are travelling the world. I think that would be pretty cool for a final season. What do you guys think? Where should they go on the final seasons?? :)

It was the first full season I watched on TV, and I will never forget how much I loved it after the first episdoe. That season got me hooked, and i've been watching ever since!

It's a lot easier to tolerate knowing that haha and i actually cheer her on but on BW it just looks sad.

So I'm watching RW Key West in its entirety for the first time ever and I'm wondering... *** is up with Paula's baby voice? It is one of the most irritating things a cast member has ever done... Did she ever give an explanation for that? I legit turn the volume down and wait until she's not on screen anymore to turn it back up LOL. The others give Fitz **** for acting too young, but Paula's the oldest and she acts like she's 5. Granted she has issues, but still. Everyone says they hate Frank this season, but really, on her season, Paula was 100 times more aggravating than Frank.

LOL!!! Who is this 14/15/16 year old? I mean I know the kids today may not watch or know much about the show but I'm pretty sure MOST of them know it's been for a long time. PS- does anyone know if you go to an audition and it's crowded as **** and everyone only gets asked 2 questions, if they still keep certain people around after the roundtable?
