Here's something that I just thought of... ...Has there ever been an attempt/want/chance of casting a midget on a season of the Real World? That's certainly never been done before on RW.
They had one on Big Brother Australia, it took them one week to break her (she broke her leg in a competition) she spent the rest of the series in hospital and then a *** tape leaked of her.
So I just realized there have been 10 seasons in 6 years, I really hope they go back to once a year.
I remember watching a casting special that came on for The Real World Hawaii and Road Rules Semester At Sea that showed deep detail into how casting is ran. I thought it was really interesting that at one point, they had a casting director hold up pictures of former cast members and asked what the person thought about them in detail.. Do they still do that? I had always thought that they wouldn't put you on the show if you were a fan (or big enough to describe people from previous seasons in detail) Also, does anyone watch Tami on Basketball Wives on VH1? She is THE biggest personality on the show and hasn't changed at all! love it!
Im sitting here watching Real World Paris clips and it isn't as bad as people make it out to be,I admit that alot of the personas are more calmer than the previous two seasons but it was still good.
I used to like Real World Paris. Why people didn't like that season?
I used to like Real World Paris. Why people didn't like that season?
If I had to guess it'd probably be because it was in between the original Vegas and San Diego seasons, which to my understanding are two of the most popular seasons of the Real World. I haven't seen any of the three, but that makes sense to me.
MTV should consider bringing back the first seasons of The Real World (or heck the whole entire retro MTV line up) look at crazy ratings The 90s Are All That are getting... and that's late night!! :tv_horror:

If I had a dollar for every "OMG DOUG/ALL THAT/ CLARISSA EXPLAINS IT ALL IS ON!" statuses I saw monday night..

My favorite is "You may be humiliated and explicitly portrayed 'in a false light.' "You're not pregnant and you won't become pregnant before the show's done filming. If you do become pregnant, you'll tell the Producer immediately--and pregnancy is grounds for dismissal. " I guess that means that Naomi, KellyAnne and Trishelle would have been GONE!
This is a very obscure question for the experts here. . . But, I found my mind wandering while at work today. Does anybody know which real world casts are the closest and which ones are the least close? Meaning all the cast members still keep in touch? Like I'd say that Paris is one of the least close and Cancun may be one of the closest.

Ryan, Katelynn and Devyn all seem to have gone off in different directions and only keep in touch with 1 of the other of the castmates regularly it seems to me. I read somewhere that Ryan pretty much only communicates with Chet regularly and really dislikes many of the others. Sarah seems to have isolated herself to the Challenge crew as it seems like most of the others from the season dislike her. Not sure what JD's deal is.

I can picture as soon as production wrapped they all went their separate ways.
I think RW NOLA2 is very close.

I wouldn't mind seeing them do some type of Redemption season, people who have been kicked out come back :D lol
That would definitely bring some good drama :D
They should do an all star season in NY to mark 20 years, I'd want: Trishelle Coral Tonya Ayiiia JD CT Wes Puck
Basically B.M.P (MTV) owns you
I wonder if them owning the rights to your lifestory is a license or an exclusive thing--meaning like did Ryan Conklin or Chris from Chicago have to give them a cut of their books because they gave them some sort of rights to those stories.
What are everyone's top 10 favorite "storylines"??? We have a lot to choose from!
10. Robin going to jail, thinking shes in Mexico 9. Frankie and her phobia of boats 8. How the whole cast of Key West treated Svetlana, mainly Tyler. 7. Montana giving alcohol to a minor 6. Joey and his alcoholism 5. Ayiiia's cutting incident 4. Davis Vs. Tyrie "IF YOU WANT TO HIT ME, YOU'LL HIT ME RIGHT NOW!!" (puts arms around Tyrie) 3. Kim vs. Bre. "Lets not get ghetto" 2. Dustin's whole storyline from last season. 1. Ryan on Real World New Orleans. He had way too many moments to name. I honestly don't think I could have survived that season without him on it. the episodes without him where just..blah. May sound odd, but he makes me sad.

I do not remember all the details of it, but my favorite storyline was Paris where half the cast wouldn't work hardly any and the other half was obessessive-compulsive about working. (I think it was Paris at least--where they were doing some sort of travel book). That was a fairly relatable storyline to anybody who had a job and it wasn't so fake-drama feeling. Since the ones who wouldn't really work were never punished for it, like being sent home, made it even more realistic to a lot of jobs.

If I remember correctly, CT got caught submitting a fake review. EDIT: My bad...Frommer's is a travel book for tourists. You were right.
I think it would be awesome if they did a season of Real World in Birmingham, AL http://magiccitypost.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/downtown-birmingham-dylan-brazil.jpg Birmingham Real Estate | Homes for sale in Birmingham | MLS # 495026 I have inserted two links, one is of Birmingham's sky line, and the other is of a potential house You are probably thinking that there isn't much to do in Alabama, but there is a lot to do in Downtown Birmingham! there are many night clubs, and really good places to eat, its really fun to hangout there! Birmingham has also recently made a really nice park in downtown too! There is a water park not far from downtown! and due to the recent tornadoes in Alabama, there could be an episode or two, focusing on the cast helping everyone affected by the storms, (similar to RW: New Orleans) It would definitely be a good season!
I think it would be awesome if they did a season of Real World in Birmingham, AL
It doesn't have anything "fantasy appeal" that they look for when choosing cities, I dont think i'd watch unless they had a bomb *** cast. I took a trip there in like 5th grade for black history month, big mistake and I will never go back again lol flashback to the 60's. and that loft is really tiny :/

All of that Fantasy city/people of substance stuff is garbage in the end. 95% of the show is shot in the house and those great backstories seldom get told and usually only in bits as filler between the same old fights and drunkeness.
