Why is that any worse? Wes was throwing those insults at Kenny the WHOLE season. And the comments got to Kenny. We both know as well as Kenny and Wes that it wasn't playful. Wes was enjoying being the one carrying the team to victory. He enjoyed making sure Kenny didn't forget it. And that's fine. He can enjoy making fun of Kenny all he wants when if he loses a competition for him, but he has the nerve to turn into a whiny punk when he gets it thrown back at him? To me, it just looks like a simple case of someone who can dish it out but can't take it.
wes can take his "friendships are give and take" and shove it. When kenny was screwing up he was never saying "oh, kenny's my partner, i have to boost his confidence and help him out". He was saying "kenny's a lower level employee and he doesn't stack up to me" but now because he's the one who screwed up kenny should be understanding. I have no problem with how kenny reacted. On a less serious note...that puke scene was the worst thing i've seen on tv in a while and the fact that one of the online bonus clips is an extended version of it is awful.
Thank you!
But to Kenny's face he said, no you didnt **** up, what Iam bad at you're good at, I wouldn't trade you for anyone. That was after the rope jungle that Wes won for them, who cares what he said on confessionals, Kenny wont hear that till 6 months after so he didnt make him feel like **** during the challenge.
How do we know that? He seemed pretty quick to tell Kenny to shut up and not have an opinion for someone who was being a supportive partner the entire time.
It's much worse. A) He had just pushed himself through physical pain throughout the Final with his partner yelling at him. B) He lost the final, therefore was disappointed enough in himself. The fact that Kenny yelled "You Suck" in his face immediately after the loss was completely unnecessary. I would see your case if Wes had yelled "You Suck" after Kenny fell off the hammock, or after the Jungle where Kenny couldn't make it up the rope, but he did nothing of the sort.
I cringed when I found out Bananas won. Tyler on the other hand is becoming a beast competitor.
How do we know that? He seemed pretty quick to tell Kenny to shut up and not have an opinion for someone who was being a supportive partner the entire time.
That was during the voting thing and that was about strategy and not really an insult, and come on its not like Kenny wanted to take heat for that decision and sure he was perfectly happy to make Wes look like the ******* that let Johnny go in against CT, if he wasnt he would have argued to be voted in (as if that would happen) the made Wes the villian on this one so if they had more footage of Wes badmouthing Kenny to his face they would have shown it. Anyways I just though Kenny looked like a punk, they still won the 1st part despite Wes gassing out and the 10 seconds Kenny carried him then he flips at Wes and says he caost them the 2nd part that looked like it could go either way, they both lost it, it wasnt one sided. like dude just be happy that you're even in the final and that you still got money. Bring on duel 3, Kenny will get eliminated before the finals.
Kenny's anger at the end of that last challenge was probably pent-up frustration and anger that built up throughout the challenge. I'm sure Kenny greatly resented having Wes carry him for much of it and Wes smugly lording it over him too. Whether Wes was overt about it or not, I'm sure Kenny (and everyone else) probably saw through it too. That was just Kenny throwing it back in Wes' face plain and simple.

B) Kenny was disappointed in himself the entire challenge... And all Wes did was make sure that Kenny knew he was performing terribly. I'm not arguing that Kenny was in any way RIGHT to shout in Wes' face like he did. But it's ridiculous to argue that Wes is somehow the better person.

He never said anything to Kenny to make him feel bad about himself after a poor performance/loss.

So he does look better in this situation, I think if it was the other way round Wes wouldnt have been yelling in his face. Wes didnt scream in Casey's face at the FM1 finale, he was disappointed but didnt try and make her feel worse than she already did. And on FM1 they came in last and got less than 25k but he didnt complain and scream at her, he complained in the interview. And it was really stupid to go and badmouth him to the other teams like their your competion dont go and tell them how you guys are struggling! I was really impressed by Kenny then lost respect for him in the last 5 minutes of the episode.

We saw in the reunion thread everyone said Wes cost Kenny the final...they know better than you do based on a ten minute edit of an hour long challenge (the second part). You have someone, who pumped themselves up as an amazing athlete for an entire competition, lose you 25K when it was yours and be happy about it. Just because the Duel is an individual competition doesn't mean it's all athleticism. Kenny's been goofy and uncoordinated since day one and yet people STILL never call him out. Wes on the other hand has been pretty successful athletically and yet people aren't afraid of him. I'd still put Kenny's odds of seeing a final in upcoming challenges at much higher than Wes's.

Its a tough one, but I am leaning towards JEK's point. Wes brings it on himself with his ego comments, but he makes them behind the scenes int he 1 on 1 interviews, so he can be noticed and get air time. I doubt he believes 90 percent of what he says. Kenny is not the type to say , that team is better than me, Kenny has a huge ego too. The difference is the entire cast loves Kenny and hates Wes. so if Kenny does it, Wes deserves it, and if Wes says a greek god comment, he is over the top. Either way Wes loses and Kenny gets a pass because he is a good guy and well liked. Wes basically embraced the villain role, so at this point, he just plays along IMO on those 1 on 1s, so he will keep being invited back. My point basically is Wes carried them to the final, Kenny carried them in the final. The way i see it, they both needed each other for 2nd place. I highly doubt either could have done it without the other the whole way through. Kenny just has a way better reputation so Wes is villafied a lot more. But than again he brings it on himself by making those comments. Kenny really makes ridiculous comments too, but when he does it is funny to most. On podcast with Derrick, a lot of people have said Wes was quiet in the house the entire time and never said anything and just talked business and casual stuff. That makes me think even more he just does the 1 on 1's, knowing they won't see it for 6 months when it airs, and he will make ratings. I am team CT all day, but i honestly think he plays a character, and Kenny is just Kenny. I bet if Kenny f'ed up instead, Wes would have been supportive knowing being a jerk won't help anything, but trashed him in the 1 on 1. But i doubt he would have yelled at him at the end, they did make money. But who knows honestly both are very likely. Side note, being rewarded basically nothing for destroying them on day 1, definitely cost them.

I'd still say that was a toss up. That was bull, they were looking for a key or something? They should have ended the race after the mountain the night before or just say run up the mountain, 1st one up wins, that GPS key **** was nonsense.
I just realize that this is the 3RD TIME IN A ROW that LAUREL FINISHES 2ND!! lol! Thats very good actually, but it must suck to be so close to win 3 times in a row and not get that 1st. Also about the Wes/Kenny thing, I'm a big fan of Wes lol but is weird how great he was on Fresh Meat 1 and Duel 1 he did great in the final and won, but since Fresh Meat 2 he hasn't been doing too good in finals (Rivals) or eliminations that have to do with running (FM2). Anyway Wes carried the team during the whole challenge so Kenny needs to sit. :P Also even tho i wanted Wes to win, i think is better he didn't cause that would have make Kenny's 4th win and thats not cool. lol I cant believe this is Johny's 3RD WIN -_- but congrats to Tyler! And again, congrats to EVELYN! 3RD WIN :)

Kenny and Wes were both doing the SAME CHALLENGE. Actually, Kenny was doing 80% of the work (Carried the ball, Wes, ate most of the food, stood on the rock longest). I'm sorry if I'm not overflowing with sympathy for the guy who claimed to be a greek god the entire challenge and called everyone else lower level employees. You'd think he could have handled this challenge with a bit more grace. B) I'm sorry, but you are delusional if you really believe anything Wes said to Kenny was lighthearted and not meant to hurt his feelings. I'm not calling Kenny a God or anything, but come on. You're really going to maintain that Wes NEVER said anything disheartening to Kenny to his face? Never?

If that was going to be the final part of the challenge, they may as well have just done it right from the start and left the rest of the final out because in the end it was kind of pointless once the whole GPS **** was introduced.

In the end it was very fitting that Kenny got 2nd place so I dont see why he got so angry, he sucked the whole challenge and he was in the finals because of his partner. They were going to get at least 2nd place no matter what because Leroy/Mike quit so they were going to get paid just for making it to the final which he got carried to. And it was so close! Its not like Wes held him back that much, just be happy for Johnny/Tyler and shut up.

You and I are going to have to agree to disagree...we're clearly on opposite sides of the fence and I don't think we're going to change each other's loyalties. I agree that Kenny may have gone overboard but I think Wes deserved a lot of what he got. Though the one thing I don't understand is why Kenny should just be happy for Johnny...he had the final and it was lost for him. It was said that Wes cost him the final...as in if Wes had kept pace with Kenny, they would have won.

But yes agree to disagree.
I'm also watching Leroy's Ustream thing and he said that Kenny carried the rock basically the whole time, did almost all of the wheelbarrowing and Wes ******* and moaned the entire final.
A) My point was, Wes struggled more throughout the Final and was clearly in worse physical shape after the race. Is it wrong that I hold someone to what they say? If you call yourself a greel god, I expect you to perform like a greek god. Shouldn't a Greek GOD be able to handle a little race? I thought a Greek Gos would LOVE a feast. Kenny's heard all the **** and smack Wes has dished out and he lashed out when Wes blew the final. Yes, yelling at Wes was a ****** move, but Wes is a grown man who's been talking smack all season. I think getting some dished back at him isn't horrible. C) I'm not going to go and watch the episodes again at one in the morning, so I guess we can just agree to disagree on this one.
Wes CONSTANTLY said things in front of Kenny. Just because he laughed while he said them doesn't mean they weren't put downs. Before the helicopter challenge he was talking about how they needed to give Kenny as little to do as possible because he couldn't perform (can't remember the exact words). He says things like that all the time... and I'll admit that Kenny put up with it like a punk and that's his own fault. But just because you put someone down with a smile on your face doesn't mean you're not talking *********] I think everything he said negative about Kenny was in the confessionals. After the jungle with Brandon and Ty where Wes single handedly won it for them, he specifically said in the confessional that he was lying his face off to Kenny. Meaning, he knew Kenny was feeling down but he kept it positive to his face. The competition was still going on so why would he want to break his partners confidence?
A) Once again... WHO CARES? Is it wrong that I hold someone to what they say? If you call yourself a greel god, I expect you to perform like a greek god. Wes got carried for 10 seconds but they still had a 45 minute lead. Dehydration plus lack of sleep killed him the next day.
I really think that the only difference between what Kenny and Wes did to each other was that Kenny said it to his face instead of hide in a confessional and talk ****.
A) He pushed himself through physical pain? Did he now? Because I'm sure Kenny felt like he was walking on sunshine the whole challenge. But it's ridiculous to argue that Wes is somehow the better person.
Lol, i heard from multiple cast members that he carried Wes for a few seconds. Great effort but come on now. Also im not gonna judge who was in more pain but it looked like Wes gave all that he had and he still didn't quit like Mike and Leroy and Jenn and Mandi. He pushed through as well as Tyler, Johnny, and Kenny but he appeared to be having some serious injuries.
I really think that the only difference between what Kenny and Wes did to each other was that Kenny said it to his face instead of hide in a confessional and talk ****.
Which is where the **** talking should stay, why would he want to make his partner feel like **** during the challenge? Obviously that's not going to motivate him so its better to vent in the confessionals, besides it's not like Kenny didn't know that Wes thought he sucked. So I doubt he was shocked when he watched it later.

Until you give examples of Wes giving Kenny ****, and "talking smack all season" your point is null and void. To my memory, Wes made one comment after he and Kenny won a mission. I think he said something like "make the next challenge just like this, make it so I do everything!" in a lighthearted manner. That is far from kicking him while he was down.
Does anyone know how much the rock weighed? Also, I like how Kenny keeps calling Wes 'buddy'!!!!
