Kenny yelling at him at the end is kind of wrong. They would have lost the second jungle if not for Wes.
They would have lost the FIRST jungle if not for Kenny.
The problem is that Wes talks himself up as being the best and how nobody can compete to his level, yet when it comes down to it, he's now failed to live up to his own hype in two straight challenge finals. Injury or no injury, he did not live up to his claims of being the best. He failed...
What you just said is my point about CT...so I thank you for that.
Wes couldn't control what happened to his body. Wes toughness more than lived up to the hype.
Once again, my point is it was classless for Kenny to kick him while he was down physically and mentally, the fact that he was cocky doesn't make a difference.
Until you give examples of Wes giving Kenny ****, and "talking smack all season" your point is null and void. To my memory, Wes made one comment after he and Kenny won a mission. I think he said something like "make the next challenge just like this, make it so I do everything!" in a lighthearted manner. That is far from kicking him while he was down.
So kicking someone while they're UP is better than kicking someone while there down?
Wes never said anything to Kenny when he underperformed earlier in the season, and especially didn't kick him while he was down by yelling in his face after a loss.
Everything he said was in his confessionals.
To take this a step further, after they won the rope climbing elimination round, Wes had a chance to say all kinds of things to Kenny when they got back to the house. Instead he opted to be sympathetic when he told Kenny that it was ok that he sucked at the climbing because he's good at all of the things Kenny sucks at and Kenny was good at all of the things he sucked at.
Wes tried to lift Kenny's spirits up when he was down, but now in the final Kenny has no sympathy for Wes? Come on, bro.
They would have lost the FIRST jungle if not for Kenny.
Thank you. Everyone is acting like Kenny was some wuss the entire competition. The only jungle he really blew was the rope climbing.
Other than that, Kenny just makes dumb decisions sometimes. Like getting on the hammock with his feet rather than his hands (or was it the other way around). But when a challenge is purely physical, he performs well.
What you just said is my point about ct............So i thank you for that.

Why do you keep responding to my points with something that has nothing to do with what I said? I haven't mentioned anything about CT in the posts in which you and I have been discussing...how did he all of a sudden become part of it? I also never said Wes could control an injury...I said he's now failed to perform to expectations in two straight challenges. He failed...bottom line. Injury or no injury, he failed!
And since you're bringing up CT, I don't know what you were discussing about him with whoever else because I haven't read through this thread except for what I've posted and those responses to my posts, but I can only guess you're implying that he didn't live up to his hype? If so, you might want to re-evaluate why he was eliminated...it wasn't due to his own performance, it was due to Adam's.
In any case, I'm done discussing this with you since you're just putting your hands over your ears and screaming, "la la la la la la la" and then reciting the same thing over and over, "wes was injured, wes was injured...." Let me know if you want to have a rational discussion and I'd be happy to do so.
There is no way of knowing 100% for sure if any cast member uses them but CT always comes to mind because yes he didnt become huge over night but I think he looked bigger on Gauntlet and earlier challenges than he does now, and he did seem overly aggressive, dont know if that's just him being an ******* or him being pumped with hormones. And they do make you aggressive, you're injecting testosterone, it's like going through puberty. On Austin Wes wasnt as buff as he is now but he wasn't that skinny either. Even on the duel I didnt think he was that big but since the ruins he has gotten really buff, but he doesnt seem moody though, so I dont know.
That's true and i get what you're saying, but again it wasn't like CT was this pushover before he appeared on the challenges. On his season he was constantly fighting with the other cast members and punched some random French dude on the street. He's always been confrontational and aggressive.
It seemed to me like Wes put a lot of weight after his RW season and was shredded on the challenges but hopefully someone who knows the challengers can give a better insight. It's impossible to say definitely who's roiding without proof
I don't think Wes performed bad at all. Yes he got a cramp in his Hamstring/leg area other then that period of time he held his own weight. Kenny should not of thrown a fit it came down to whoever got there key 1st and Kenny was the one controlling there gps tracker so i don't see what wes could of done by the time they found there key it was too late Johnny and tyler were at the top.

Not to mention he kept going when most competitors in shoes would have quit.
Wow Wes and Kenny were only given a 1 minute head start to Johnny and Tyler, that’s bull****…
I don’t get why people say Wes has been carrying Kenny. Yeah, they DQ’d several times but as long as they’re not 1st, all that matters is how well they do in the jungle. In the 1st jungle, they needed Kenny’s size and strength. In the 2nd jungle, Wes saved their ***es.
Kenny getting angry at Wes and throwing a tantrum was hilarious. Him telling the others about Wes’ condition during the night was a bad move, but I understand why he told him how upset he was about losing at the end. The final was over, after all.
Kenny and Johnny were the funniest throughout the whole finale. Johnny was so jolly, walking with his cane like “we’re right on your ***es boys!” and “top o the mo’ning to ya!”. And Kenny being mad was funny. I respect Tyler for pushing through despite him being sick.
Paula was also a trooper. Glad they won, it was cute to see how happy she was. Ev was a great, humble partner; I loved when she said “Paula, I give you the honors” and she said that she couldn’t have been able to win without Paula, even though we all know she could have. Even though this is CM's second 2nd place and Laurel's 3rd, they were very gracious losers! I liked that. Hopefully she'll win next time!
I'd pay to be within listening distance as the concept of this final was thought up...
"HEY! Let's make this a TWO DAY event!! If we get renewed, a WEEK LONG FINAL! IN SPACE!"
Haha that's freaking hilarious.

In the D-day episode while Evan was making fun of Kenny because ha had lost his mojo, Wes was in the other room saying that Kenny sucks and then said that Kenny was a lower employe.
He hasn't talked smack all seaosn are you sure ?, and what about the greek god thing and I'am good at everything, i'm running the game, talking trash about Tyler calling him a fat a** during the final, calling Evan a fat a** by the way Johnny had cramps too and he pulled out, Tyler was sick and he pulled out and Kenny ate most of the food, he built the tent while Wes was sit in the floor and carried the best challenge champion of all times in his back. Kenny was mad about Wes because he always talks a big game and pump his tires in the final.
Oh, so basically MTV schemed to give Johnny and Tyler an advantage? Wow...
Kenny did not run ahead, because much like the rest of the final, he had to continue to turn back and pull Wes along. If Kenny had moved ahead, Wes would have stopped and given up. How can you sit there and actually defend Wes? Believe me, I wanted Wes to win throughout the entire competition, but it's rather difficult to praise the guy after completely failing to hold up two years in a row in the finals.
You are losing your breath the greek god is perfect, he doesn't make mistakes, he is better athlete that everybody
I don't think that It was 2 minutes, because I think that the 2 minutes head start was from the third team (Mike and Leroy)
It was 2 minutes from Johnny and Tyler and 3 minutes from Mike and Leroy
At this point, i think it is safe to say Kenny is not an elmination round guy, but is a final challenge guy. Wes is definately an elimination round specialist. Since Kenny barely sees eliminations because he is freinds with everyone, unless he is paired with Wes, advantage Kenny.
Not saying they were in eliminations because of Wes, but the whole rivals concept and dq'ing automatically go in, and he was paired with Wes and otherwise never sees eliminations.
They both looked very pitiful at the aspect they were not strong at all challenge. Wes looked awful in the final, Kenny looked awful in the jungle rope climb. They needed Wes to get to the final, but what is the point of saying that if you just mess up at the end. But you could say they wouldn't have won anythnig without him.
What I want to say to the people anti- Kenny for his ending "rage": give the guy a break! He just went through extreme physical/mental torture. To the people anti- Wes for his "failure": Give the guy a break! He just went through extreme physical/mental torture. :) Hey, I don't like Wes, but he finished the race and gotta acknowledge that the dude was seriously ill. Even though I have not been Team Paula, I am very happy she and Evelyn won. Props to Cara Maria and Laurel for their sportsmanship. I hope if there are more challenges they bring back some of the quirky/entertaining vibe to the missions. I enjoy watching them athletically compete, but stuff like the "melt the ice with your body" from Battle of the sexes, ect is what made me fall in love with The Challenge.
Were Mike and Leroy the only team to get the Tent Memory right on first try, or did I miss something?
I still don't like the guy, but I looked at Wes's twitter and he is getting some pretty intense hate. I know he thinks that retweeting it makes it look like he's above it and doesn't care, but it still shows that it's affecting him on some level. He needs to just ignore it.
This final was too much. Maybe some of you are superb athletes who could possibly finish this final, but I'm guessing most of the people on this board wouldn't even sniff the end of that final. I give props to Wes for finishing the thing (much better than the pathetic attempt in the FM2 exile); **** I give props to all that finished this course that was clearly conceived by a warped individual.
I'm really hoping for a renewal of the series, and by the way this finale was presented I have hope. I think the ending would be much more grandiose if production knew this was the last hurrah. I would love to see a challenge that goes back to the early 2000's style. The challenges should be fun and silly and maybe negate some of the physicality so maybe some of the weaker players can last longer in the game, while the eliminations could be physical with a random puzzle thrown in there. Shifting away from the athletic aspect somewhat could entice older veterans to come back.
Maybe someone should create a "Rivals Final - Kenny vs. Wes" forum since that's basically taken up the last 60 or so posts!! There were 12 people involved in the final and they all ran the same course, ate the same food, had to memorize the same campsite and had to carry the same rock. Congratulations to all of them for surviving it, no matter if they finished 1st, 2nd or not at all. I will say I'm not surprised by Jenn's performance and I'm glad she wasn't rewarded for doing basically nothing the entire challenge. I personally enjoyed the final (except for the excessive use of the puking footage) and although I wish Leroy and Mike had won for the guys, I'm still okay with how it turned out. Great 42 minutes of TV!!
There is no denying Wes blew this one, its not because of the GPS. Johnny and Tyler found their GPs first...they should not have ... Kenny and Wes had a two minute lead. Wes was slower in scaling the mountain.
Nehemiaha who is good friends with Wes has said that Wes doesn't use roids. He said Wes was an amateur body builder before he came on Real World and he knows how to put on muscle and shape his body. Wes has always been built but I don't think he got big until the Ruins. He came on there after like a 2 year lay off from challenges so it isn't out of the ordinary for someone to go through that kind of change in 16-24 months.
Saying someone was an amateur bodybuilder hurts your case more than helps it when speculating on steroid use. There are amateur bodybuilders at both gyms Ive been a member of and well over the majority openly admit to using steroids and are the people who you usually get them from if you are into that type of thing. I know its a generalization and just my experience and I am not saying either way if he used them or not.
Imo the difference between first and second day was stupid. They reach the sleepin spot 45 minutes before Johnny/Tyler and get a 2 minute head start the next day.

Yeah Johnny was hilarious in yesterday's episode.

Yeah, I was saying this as I was watching them stop at the rocks. To lose the lead they had in reaching the rocks, (not sure how many minutes) pretty much made busting your a** on day 1 irrelevant. Sure, they got a 2 minute lead, but what about the lead they had at the end of day 1? Why do they lose that? That was definitely a screw up by MTV.
Again, as has been mentioned. If they would've given Kenny and Wes a head start that equaled the amount of time between when they got to the rock and when Johnny and Tyler got there, then they would've won the challenge. Period.

Then make day 2 longer so the other teams have a chance to catch up or do anything but this, this was just a dumb move.
Don't know if this was posted alraedy since I didn't read the 35 first pages since I gotta wait a day to wtch the episode but:

Seems like the final was even more sadistic than we thought..
