True, it is. But, I think Evan is jealous of CT in some ways, that's why he wants to go against him and be the guy to do, so he can say I sent home CT. It failed on the Duel and I doubt it will work on Rivals. Cara Maria said Evan had ulterior motives for voting himself in against CT. Nehemiah on Derrick's podcast said Evan lacks confidence and that's why no girl in the house wants to hook up with him. Nick Brown on the Duel 2 has said the same thing that Evan was excited to see CT leave the house.
I'm pretty sure every guy was excited for CT to leave the house.

Even if he did, some guys genuinely maybe don't want to hook up with the girls on the show, what does that have to do with Evan going home? Plus doesn't he have a girlfriend? I'm not saying Nehemiah is wrong or right, but he does have beef against Evan, so no matter if someone personally misses their home and friends, doesn't mean it's weak IMO. I think if it is true that Evan really wanted to go home, why didn't he just leave? Or purposefully throw all the missions to go in?

Going in against CT is kind of a way to quit and save face--unless he blatantly throws it, no one can really accuse him of not trying his hardest to win.
So then people are saying that when he lost to CT last time, it was because he wanted to go home and just quit?
No the last time he went against CT was because he made a deal with Wes where if Wes would take out Derrick and Brad, he'd take out CT. The difference here is that he's probably saying "I won't win anyway, so let's see if I can beat CT for my buddies instead."
Not that I don't believe it's possible, but I'm not sure about trusting what Nehemiah and Wes says, I mean, Evan said himself that this was the best (most fun) mission in a long time, plus he didn't exactly throw challenges thus far.... In fact, it was mostly Nehemiah that caused their challenge losses (so far at least).
huh? Yeah the first challenge where they had to jump over the ribbon, I agree, Nehemiah crossed over the line and got them DQed. But if you remember the last challenge for the guy day, it was him who got them DQed for being to scared to jump on the thingy thing.

IDK,
It ay be true that Evan threw the challenge, and maybe even the jungle, or it may be true that he didn't care either way or it was a win/win situation for him maybe

huh?
I thought it was Nehemiah's mistake in the Hammock challenge too.
Nehemiah may not be the best competitor, but at least he WANTS to compete. If it's true that Evan just wanted to go home, he should've never come in the first place because he was just wasting Nehemiah's time. I'm sorry, but if I signed up for a Challenge, I would try so freakin' hard to win everything I possibly could, I see no reason to try to create plans and throw challenges.

I think if you do not want to compete or whatever, it doesn't make any sense coming, however, all I am saying is that so far Evan's actions haven't shown that he doesn't want to compete. He may miss whomever he pleases, but he hasn't shown us so far any signs of giving up, especially as he is doing better than Nehemiah.
Now, when he throws himself in next week (I believe), if he gives up in the jungle, then that's a real ****** thing to do.... but if he actually tries his hardest... then personally, I see no reason for me to condemn him.
In the 2nd episode when Kenny gives Evan his yellow shirt to wear to the jungle, Evan tells Kenny that if he loses and goes home, he might go with him. Again its more of an off hand comment, but it is a sign and I dont ever remember him saying something like that in any previous challenge season.
I don't think Evan necessarily wanted to go home so much as he didn't want to waste time competing in all of Rivals only to place 3rd in the final challenge which was almost a given if any combination of CT/Adam, Wes/Kenny, and John/Tyler were there. Wes/Kenny and John/Tyler probably liked their chances in a final, where as Evan knew he didn't match up well for one so he either wanted to remove his biggest obstacle to the money, which was CT, or go home trying. The one thing Evan wasn't willing to do was keep his piece on the board at all costs which is usually his strategy that has worked for him, but as a lot of people pointed out (CT, Wes, Evelyn) Evan didn't exactly show up to Rivals in the best of shape.
huh? Yeah the first challenge where they had to jump over the ribbon, I agree, Nehemiah crossed over the line and got them DQed.
but as a lot of people pointed out (CT, Wes, Evelyn) Evan didn't exactly show up to Rivals in the best of shape.
Yeah I had to chuckle a little when Ev was talking about Evan being "fat and out of shape". She's so blunt lol. I think they photoshopped him in the MTV pic obviously, because he is looking a bit heavy when you see him on camera to compete. The guys like CT, Johnny, Tyler, Kenny, and Wes have mass and they're in shape.

Maybe its from creatine, who knows. BTW MTV needs to stop with the photoshopping. I swear if Mike was an original cast member, he would have had a six pack too. lol
It was pretty low what Evan did to Nehemiah, he broke the dreams of another person and threw all the hard work and hopes of his partner under the bus, I think he should retire from challenges for good. Evan doesn't have any excuse for his actions and the worst is that they had a pretty good chance of winning the mission but I can't believe how hypocritical some castmember can be. Nehemiah has said twice that he has never made any personals comments against Evan, that's not true because in the Duel 2 after the elimination of Davis, while Evan was in his bed reading a book he was talking trash about him and said that Evan was being a******* beacuse he didn't pick Paula. Katie is saying that CT is a good guy, CT is her boy and she is with team CT but isn't she the same Katie who had a rant against CT in the Gauntlet 3 when CT was talking to Coral about the trimming the fat? And she is the same Katie who told Diem that CT hooked up with Shauvon in the Duel 2? What about Robin who said that Evan is a dbag because he was making jokes about Nehemiah's spirituality, isn't she the same Robin who made racial comments about Aneesa and was talking trash about Aneesa's sexuality?

Basically what im saying is that those events were years ago, people change, people grow, people move on. Relationships fizzle, some grow stronger, and some stay the same.
Is it a bad thing considering I cried when Evan got sent home? Hah. And then Kenny...:((((((

I think Nehemiah's just bitter at Evan because he made them lose. I can tell Evan's a confident guy. He may not be the type to make a move on a girl right away because that comes off as desperate, but there have been quite a few girls who've tried to hook up w/him in the past. Jodi, Robin, Coral, Veronica...

Evan must be humilated at how much he sucked! He made a total *** of himself! :D
Evan must be humilated at how much he sucked! He made a total *** of himself! :D
For the way he competed in the jungle? Appearantly he wanted to go home and didn't have time to work out before this challenge etc. About the people talking crap about the d-day plan here's my opinion (like anyone cares :P ) To be honest their reasoning made sense, if CT/Adam are in the finals they will probably win it, it also means that 1 of the JEK alliance pairs will be gone because theres only 3 pairs per sex in the finals. So why waste time when someone is gonna have to take out CT anyway? The only other option was get CT/Adam in the jungle against Leroy/Mike and then 1 of JEK take on the winner of those but that is not likely to happen with the system of the pair coming in last place automatically going in. And Nehemiah obviously knew off the plan, it was just a bit of a **** move not to tell Nehemiah before the challenge that he was gonna throw it that day.

They actually did a good job at timing the release, it looked like [strike]Nehimiah[/strike] Nehemiah reached the buoy the fastest out of everyone (not 100 % clear though because the times were not all posted). If Evan would be able to keep up within a second or 2 who knows, the win safety, put in CT and Leroy. And they'd be alive to fight on next guys elimination with the chance the alliance has to take out Leroy and not CT. That sounds more likely than Evan beating CT. But whatever, he is gone now.

Very heartfelt indeed. I thinks it's about the 30th birthday though.
I hope he doesn't retire. His performance on Rivals would be a terrible way to go out.

Yo guys relax...
