i know its against BMP rules...but do u think JEK and their 3 partners thought that w/o CT/adam, they could all go in the finals and get 150 to be split 6 ways?
My opinion of Mandi has changed drastically. That could be due to the fact that she was in a whopping two episodes of Cutthroat, and on FM2 she wasn't shown a lot (at least not that I remember) OR it could be because she seems to be pretty nice to everyone. She is CT's only friend and actually told Wes and Paula off when they confronted her about it. I also liked how she told Theresa and Camila that they were being ridiculous about quitting.
Blondie has some balls! She's not afraid to go against the mob and make her own decisions.
Yeah the order was ridiculous. Adam needs to stop working with the enemy.
For a smart guy, he's making dumb moves. It makes me think that he cut a deal with JEK.
Of all the girl teams, I think Paula and Evelyn are also the best matched. They actually both jumped together and grabbed the bar at the same time, and it stayed even. I don't think many other teams even got that far. P.S. What happened to Mike is totally the thing that would scare me most about jumping into water around other people. Honestly I'm not sure how that's never happened before.
Ya, it was sad to see Paula crying to Emily on Cutthroat...but what exactly is she doing that is bugging you on Rivals? Her and Ev are top dogs (I don't recall them being cocky or anything). Calling shots? She gave her opinion and got her alliance to back her what's wrong with that if she had no allegiance to Camila/Theresa? I would say she has been better than the rookies so far. Yes I am a fan of Paula's and Jenn's and Ev's, but I can see both the good and bad sides of each. Jenn always goes with the flow in deliberation and Ev on FM2 bugged me, not her treatment of Luke but the way her and Wes handled their alliance. Maybe I'm being biased this season but I'm not seeing Paula or Ev as annoying so far on Rivals.
Jenn and her attitude to Mandi on FM2 annoyed me (that was her playing "I'm better than you rookie) and Paula on Cutthroat did the same thing to Camila. I'm not even a big fan of Mandi nor Camila, but Paula and Jenn's attitude annoyed me then. Now, seeing Paula argue with Kenny and Evan in the web exclusive remind me why I am annoyed by her these days. Jenn didn't really do anything on this challenge yet, except talk big then stick up under the "big dogs."
The stuttering intro/sequence of this challenge is like nails on chalkboard.
P.S. What happened to Mike is totally the thing that would scare me most about jumping into water around other people. Honestly I'm not sure how that's never happened before.
I honestly thought that was one of the most dangerous challenges to date, and pretty stupid of them to allow. They had to have known not many people would be able to hang on, and two adults falling that distance that close to one another? It was asking for that to happen. I'm surprised Mike didn't get more seriously injured and that he was the only one. With the amount of fails, and Mike's fall, I don't blame Evan and Tyler for wanting to say "**** it" and just jump in the water.
lol what a punk...
ADAM R PUNCHES TY: So everyone saw the feeble punch/slap that Adam R landed on Ty. What they DIDN’T see was the first punch Adam R threw that Kenny caught mid air. Adam R reared back, and telegraphed the punch he was about to throw, and Kenny (with a drink in one hand) catches Adam’s arm and throws it back. The fact is, Adam R had biten off way more than he could chew at this point, and was en route to getting his *** kicked. It was obvious to all the Vets, that Adam R was just trying to puff his chest out and assert himself. He approached the show from the beginning like he was a fan who suddenly was placed in the center of his favorite show, and was now surrounded by all the people he looked up to. Adam R may have been physically ready for the game, but not mentally ready. As a guy, if you get sent home, you better make the punch count. That little wussy ***** slap by Adam R pales in comparison to the other Challenge fights we’ve seen, and I have 12 stitches in my eye & back to prove it. Darrell gave Brad 10 (I think) on Rivals. Yeah, fighting is great for camera time, but not so great for your image or bank account.
The Challenge: rivals Episode 1 - Welcome to the jungle
The stuttering intro/sequence of this challenge is like nails on chalkboard.
I agree 100%. Really don't like it at all.
The stuttering intro/sequence of this challenge is like nails on chalkboard.

I agree 100%. Really don't like it at all.
I agree also. From a FX artist myself, the "glitchy" edit is pretty out of style, aside from the poor job at it. The quality of graphics used for this show has gone downhill tremendously since the first Fresh Meat. It's interesting, I wonder how the budget for that has changed. As it appears, not well. Edit: Second thought, they seemed to do a lot for Cutthroat. Other than that, everything just seemed quick and rushed.
My thoughts on the episode after seeing it: Glad to see Theresa get the boot: "They should go in because they're the Rooks"... Bahaha Camila's your partner, and you're basically a rookie yourself. Nice try though. Happy for Paula/Ev, the two of them are more tolerable this season than in the past. Love CT, he's hilarious as are Leroy/Mike... JEK are pathetic. However I am still a fan of Wes... SOOO disappointed in Jenn... This "go with the mob" zombie mentality is annoying... Liked the mission and the Jungle. Like someone else said earlier I would've let my opponent flip all my tiles to Black then pounce the last 60 seconds... Theresa also strikes me as a BGC reject. ****.
People keep bring this up, but I really don't think it would be a great idea. If you waited until the last minute, then you'd start with ALL your tiles being black. As you're going along and flipping them, your opponent is also doing the same thing. You wouldn't be able to get too far ahead of them, as they're still going along with you. Yeah, you might be a little faster since you haven't been working the last four minutes, but I don't think it would be enough to make up for every tile being flipped.

Turd.
Are you serious? Wes is by far the most pathetic of them all. JEK really have not done much this season. Kenny made fun of Tyrie, Evan said he would go in against CT, and Johnny has not said much. Wes is the one with the huge god complex.

Wes is the one with the huge god complex.
I haven't had as much of a problem with Wes as I usually do but I agree about not getting why Johnny, Kenny, and Evan are pathetic. Why wouldn't they conspire to get the best team gone, or try to figure out a way to get rid of them? It's clearly within the rules, so if they pull it off and get the win, good for them. Everyone talks about their arrogance, but they're acknowledging that a team is better than them and in order to make money (aka why they're there) CT needs to go home. Clearly CT was at least slightly worried about Kenny/Wes or he wouldn't have said the EXACT SAME THING to them in the first episode. I think some of the hate for JEK is borderline irrational at times. It's a game show...if they wanted to play fair against good competition they would join a rec flag football team like Mark Long.
This JEK Wes convo is so boring! Let's all talk about that hilarious dirt exchange between Jonna/Jasmine and Theresa/Camilla. :)
This JEK Wes convo is so boring! Let's all talk about that hilarious dirt exchange between Jonna/Jasmine and Theresa/Camilla. :)
LOL that was so stupid...but because of that it was kind of funny. That actually would have been a great twist to the challenge, like you could dump dirt in your opponent's bucket on purpose to slow them down.
I really REALLY hope CT and Adam wins!
I thought this was a great episode! First of all...what was up with Jonna's HAIR?! I love her and all, but...I think she took the "Jungle" a little too seriously! That challenge reminded me of the one from Battle of the Seasons...only a bit more extreme. I agree with a previous poster that it seemed excessively dangerous, and I'm surprised more injuries didn't occur. Lol @ Wes calling CT a mongoose. Mongooses are actually pretty cool. That brings me into the CT vs. Wes fight...that was HILARIOUS. I was laughing the whole time! I'm definitely Team CT. He's just making the entire Challenge. It would be so boring without him! Seriously, Theresa and Camila...I have no words for them. Most annoying cast members ever. What's funny is, even with their plan, they still lost. I really like Cara Maria though, and I'm hoping she can knock some sense (or kindness) into Laurel :) Leroy and Mike are so cute! I love them and I hope they go really far! I'm also rooting for Jonna and Jasmine, they seem feisty and entertaining. Ev and Paula, as well, because they're dominating so far and are definitely the female team to beat. And of course, I'm rooting for CT/Adam because CT is epic... And, lastly, Evan really thinks he and Nehemiah have a chance at beating CT/Adam? I was thinking, out of that whole alliance, they had the least chance of beating them...Wes/Kenny and Johnny/Tyler seem like much stronger teams, at least against CT and Adam. Still, think back to CT vs. Johnny...I don't think ANYONE will be able to beat CT. And I love how apparently Nehemiah is uninformed of the decision to throw the challenge and go into the Jungle? Lovely partnership, guys. I'm also really liking Sarah and Katelynn this season as well. Maybe it's because Sarah has barely gotten any screentime...
Jenn and her attitude to Mandi on FM2 annoyed me (that was her playing "I'm better than you rookie) and Paula on Cutthroat did the same thing to Camila. Jenn didn't really do anything on this challenge yet, except talk big then stick up under the "big dogs."
I just watched the web exclusive and it reminds me why it is testing being a fan of Paula's, lol. I still want her to win dearly, but her attitude can get pretty bad because she overreacts to the smallest things. In this case I guess she wanted more, but Kenny and Evan essentially were backing her up by not voting in Jonna/Jasmine. She got mad at them for not saying anything during deliberation but it shouldn't have been a big deal IMO. Jenn did look terrible the way she treated Mandi on FM2, the reason I'm a fan of hers is because of the way she ran in the Cutthroat final. That's really it. I guess I'm a fan of anyone who goes out and competes well, that's why I like Mandi and Camila as well (yes I realize Mandi is not a great competitor but she showed she can run in her FM2 elimination round). I love runners!! But after seeing the web exclusive I can see why people would be put off by Paula, I hadn't seen it before and that is why I questioned your annoyance towards Paula and Jenn this season.

I just think their are better ways to approaching this Jungle instead of just rushing the board like these ladies did. I was also thinking it could have helped to maybe only focus on the 30 tiles to the right or left of the board, and make certain that they stay all stay flipped, but idk. I'm sure I'm just over analyzing this. As for JEK, I mostly meant pathetic in comparison to old school players like Timmy, Mark, Syrus, Abe, Darrel, Mike (B2N). Who are are players that CT "grew up" with during the golden challenge ages, and that could explain why there's so much friction between him and JEK...

It makes sense though since they are the only ones that were back during the Inferno/BOTS era. CT = Inferno, Aneesa = Battle of the Sexes 1, and Robin = Battle of the Sexes 2. Good stuff!

I knew I would want Leroy & Mike to win, but I didn't expect to root for the others.
By the way, for those wondering if Nehemiah is in on the plan, there is a clip on mtv.com (episode 4 sneek peak) that should answer that question.

That's funny, than why are Evan/Nehemiah throwing it to go in and do your dirty work? Big talker aren't you Wes. He could get his wish if he dq's next mission, but he will def not call CT/ADAm. Just shows he is all talk. If the plan somehow does work and Evan/Nehemiah beat CT/Adam, Wes will be the first one to talk like he defeated the beast himself and somehow take all the credit like he did something. That's why that guy bugs me so much.
Kinda goes without saying that Wes is a master of hyperbole and nothing else. Never really minded him in past challenges. In fact I thought he was a funny dude at times, albeit an unintentionally funny dude. But he is proving to be rather insufferable on this Challenge. Seems like he catches a whiff of CT's *** and he has offer his perspective, which is worth less than two cents. It's one thing to try to get a mad dog riled up in the weird hope that he will beat the **** out of you and get sent home. It is another thing to try to commit character assassination by using labels like psychopath, and referring to someone as one of the "most horrible human being to have ever been a part of anything." I get that the dude's catering to an audience and trying to get his good soundbites in, but he's just coming off as an insecure and weird ******* on this show. Now that I think of it, this show would be mostly devoid of villain without him in it. So I guess that's a good thing.
lol they made it look like Wes wasn't calling CT out when it aired CT & Wes Face Off | Video | MTV on the exclusive one Wes said "your scared to go into the jungle with me"
I usually root for Wes (I'm not gonna lie, I think it's because I dislike Kenny so much) but he is rather annoying on this challenge (then again, that could be because Kenny is his partner). It saddens me. This is most likely the last challenge we'll have and I'm going out with a negative viewing of someone who I used to cheer for. How dare you wrong me Weston! Also with Jenn- Just think, people, she hasn't won a challenge yet. She's going with the mob so maybe she can make it to end and I don't know, win maybe? What good would it do for her to make her own alliance? She wouldn't have the numbers.
Not sure where to post this or if this has already been mentioned. It looks like they're filming something in LA today. Cara Maria, Paula, Mandi, Mike, Evan, Wes and CT are all in LA judging from twitter. I might be missing a few more people since I didn't do any further cyber sleuthing.
Maybe after show or one of those confessionals like on mtv.com
Maybe after show or one of those confessionals like on mtv.com
Yep, listening to Brandon's podcast at work. Leroy said it was an after show. They're doing it individually not by partners since Leroy was not invited.

Wes may want to go up against CT but has Kenny even went into an elimination with a top dog and beaten him? No. He likes easy wins and that's exactly what Davis said.
