Watching the episode again, I noticed a few things: 1) Jonna bugs me. She always talks to people like she knows best and she's always right and can never be at fault. The way she acted when she was coming up with the list with Jasmine just seemed really rude and unnecessary, and as much as she talks about Camila rubbing her the wrong way, I think she's going to rub a lot of vet girls the wrong way. 2) LOVE CT's face when he talks about the "goons" (Kenny and Wes) disqualifying themselves. 3) I was impressed with Jenn's (also Mandi's) reaction to DQ'ing. Unlike most people, instead of blaming it on each other, they just admitted it was hard. 4) What's with the cards during meditation? 5) Of course Kenny doesn't mind going in at this point...he got to pick his team, and it's probably the weakest one. I bet he wouldn't be glad about going in a few eliminations down the road.
I'm surprised you were bugged out more by Jonna instead of Camila. To me Camila is one of the most annoying cast members ever. After watching it again I'm puzzled by Adam. Why he continues to talk **** behind CT's back doesn't really make sense. Sure after the challenge if you can say whatever you want, but on this he's your partner and the only chance you have at getting money. From the beginning Adam should've tried to get Ty, Brandon. Tyrie, Davis, LeRoy and MikeMike/Adam R to all come together to get rid of JEK + Wes. How easy would it have been to at least try to come up with this gameplan knowing JEK is only concerned with getting rid of his partner. He has been and will always be an idiot and I understand why CT has always thought of him the way he has. Adam is two-faced.
Camila might be out there and have an obnoxious personality to some, but Jonna is just really rude to people. She had a huge attitude to Jasmine when they were doing the list like Jasmine was making a big deal (when Jonna was the one who had the attitude), and then again with Camila--i.e. when Camila went to talk to her, Jonna brought up the name thing, then Camila tried to apologize, and Jonna was like "We're past that," and acted like Camila was making a big deal out of nothing. But Jonna was the one who brought it up in the first place! And that stupid smile she gave Camila was so patronizing. Honestly I don't care if people are fame *****s or whatever...I care more about how they treat other people.

Everyone is fallible, and certain people get under your skin. To Jonna, Jasmine is one of those people. To everyone alive, Camilla is one of those people. On any average, sober day Jonna is polite, accommodating, and enjoyable to be around. Everyone has their buttons, it just depends how easy yours are to push.
When Jenn, Theresa, Robin, or any other girl on previous challenges goes off on someone, is it a ghetto gangster hoodrat freak out?
It's a **** shame. :(
When Jenn, Theresa, Robin, or any other girl on previous challenges goes off on someone, is it a ghetto gangster hoodrat freak out?
So this isn't ghetto to you? "We don't go like that in Houston, we knock **** out"
So this isn't ghetto to you? "We don't go like that in Houston, we knock **** out"
When people of a certain color use the phrase "ghetto" to improperly describe an individual of another color acting ignorant, it makes it **** hard for the rest to prove we aren't ignorant as well.
So this isn't ghetto to you? "We don't go like that in Houston, we knock **** out"
No. I hate when people use the word ghetto. It implies that non-rich black people act a certain way and stereotypes people who actually live in ghettos. As if rich, white people don't act like that. Or non-rich people of any race. Or non-black people of any class. Just watch an episode of the Real Housewives series. Are the people on the Housewives shows ghetto hoodrats? How could they be when they live in places like the OC or the suburbs of NJ or NY? Yet they make statements similar to what Jasmine said and get into fights with their castmembers. It has nothing to do with ghettos, gangs, or hoods.

With Jonna, the more I see that episode and the more I read how people talk about her on here, I can't help but get a Veronica vibe. Veronica being mean to Katie back in the Inferno/Gauntlet, didn't really seem "called for", but did make for some epic TV. So, more power to Jonna, cuz I LOVE me some Veronica (and Katie!).
It has nothing to do with ghettos, gangs, or hoods.
Yeah. I'm sure Jasmine wasn't trying to intentionally sound or act ghetto or hood when she was going off last night. Looking gangster was the LAST objective on her agenda. Jasmine knew what she was doing. When you say something like this "We don't go like that in Houston, we knock **** out" you're going to be associated with a certain demographic regardless of how trendy that type of jargon might currently be in the Beverly Hills.

How does one "sound" or "act" ghetto? Is this something you witnessed first-hand in an actual ghetto or hood? Or did you just see it on TV? And no, most people don't associate someone saying "we knock **** out" as being a ghetto hoodrat. I can go to the mall and hear a bunch of suburban teenage girls make the same comment (or worse) to another group of teenage girls as they fight over a boy. The comments made on most teenagers' Facebook walls are 100x worse than anything Jasmine said. I have a feeling you're not going to change your mind but hopefully you do and realize that there's nothing ghetto, hoodrat, or gangster about Jasmine or anything she did in this episode.
I'm glad Ev/Paula won, they are my favorite girls team. I wish Adam would quit talking about CT behind his back, it seems like CT is trying to put everything behind him and let things stay in the past and move beyond them while Adam is not. They both fought each other so it's not like Adam is just a victim. I can see why people wouldn't like Camila, but in this case Jonna seems to be in the wrong to me. Camila tried to apologize but Jonna was having none of it. Camila seems like a nice person who is just loud while Jonna seems to be rude and have an attitude. Of course I haven't met anyone so thats just based on seeing them on TV.

You're trying to play oblivious with your political correctness. She didn't just say "we knock **** out." She said that with a few other things all with the intentions of trying to look and act hood. If you can't figure out what those actions were then that's something you're going to have to look for yourself. FTR it's equally tacky when Jenn, Aneesa, Robin, etc. act the same way. Throwing up gang signs and acting as if you're used to street fights doesn't make you cool.

Jasmine has a bad temper, and flips out over very little. Reminds me of quite a few of also on the challenge. I don't care about the phrase ghetto nor am i offended if others use it. I just think jasmine is a short fuse, ready to brawl at anything she doesn't like/agree with. I noticed with Jonna in all her arguments she does this thing where she rolls her eyes and shrugs at the camera like what is going on, can you believe i am dealing with this? She did it when Jasmine/her were arguing over the order, and to me it just shows she has the "it's not me, it's you" attitude. She seems OK though besides that, and i won't judge based on a 5 minute clip of her. We will see how the season progresses. But that attitude that i stated the it's not me it's you, just makes people seem like they think they are never wrong, and that is a pet peeve of mine. But like i said, i'll see in other episodes, a lot of people were heated that episode.

How am I being politically correct when you can't even answer my questions? I'll ask again. How does one act ghetto or sound ghetto? You can hear the same statements that Jasmine made anywhere from the suburbs to the trailer park, from people who've never left their neck of the woods. How do you explain that? How are they being ghetto, gangster, hoodrats? And no, Jenn, Aneesa, Robin, etc. were not ghetto, gangster, hoodrats either.

Jasmine seems to me like she just acts over the top, and i am not so sure if someone did get physical, how she would respond. Not sure i can see her kicking anyone's ***, no matter how tough she sounds. Punching a mirror and saying you are from Houston, is not the same as actually beating someone up. Seems to me like just drunken tough girl talk. A lot of girls do that, also one guy *Wes*

If he/she is going to go around using offensive terms, he/she should be able to explain them. You guys act as if gangs only exist in ghettos or 'hoods. They exist everywhere. Acting ghetto. Acting gay. Acting black. Acting white. It's all ridiculous.

Who said poor, black neighborhoods? I hear you if you don't appreciate the term ghetto, but no one said it's a black thing or a poor, black neighborhood thing. People prob think CT acts ghetto. I don't so one bit don't get me wrong, but i am just using it as a point. I just think your adding things people aren't saying.

Katelynn seemed to think she was really nice and polite, so I'll guess I'll see how she is as the season goes on. Hopefully she'll make a better impression, but I just know that I would hate to be on the receiving end of an attitude like that.
He/she said Jasmine was a ghetto gangster hoodrat.
Well some people don't choose their words wisely. But one person doesn't represent Vevmo, or the challenge viewers views. But that was a poor choice of words i agree....:)
That's exactly how I feel! I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw that. Katelynn seemed to think she was really nice and polite, so I'll guess I'll see how she is as the season goes on. Because if you are around someone for as long as she was, no matter how far Katelynn goes, i'm sure she would notice that and mention it if it was a pattern. Not defend her. So it wasn't just me :)
He/she said Jasmine was a ghetto gangster hoodrat.
I believe they said she was acting like that, not that she was that. Two completely different things.
He/she said Jasmine was a ghetto gangster hoodrat.
Nope, I said she was ACTING someone from the hood. As I said before, it doesn't matter if this type of behavior is occasionally found in Beverly Hills. This type of behavior is associated with the hoods and Jasmine knows this and the whole street tough kid who rumbles and tumbles image was exactly what she was trying to portray in her altercation with Theresa. For some reason your extreme sensitivity to this issue has lead you to extrapolate and manipulate what I said into something that doesn't exist. And yes, you are being politically correct.
So has Jasmine always been... clinically insane? Or is this a recent development? I still don't understand why she got so ******? And her whole "I'm from Houston" thing... what? Is Houston known for being ****** or something? And also, I had forgotten how much I can't stand Jonna. Sigh..
katelyn is not the only one that seems to like jonna and jasmine. johnny , kenny , laurel, evan, mike , leeroy, brandon, seems to like them too. Also if you see the 2 episodess you will see that jonna is alwaysaround evelyn so that most mean they got along and cara maria love them just check her answers toward them on her form spring-------> 6.Your closest friend/you least get along with....all for this season of Rival Evelyn n jonna n jazzy /you'll see.

Tina, Rachel and Veronica acted like *****es and pushed Tonya's and Katie's buttons but to me a lot of it was for comical effect – and it was hilarious. Jonna just appears extremely rude, and she says she thinks Camilla acts like she's better than everyone else, but Jonna is the one who seems to have that attitude... I don't doubt what Katelynn said however Jonna can be nice 90%, but if she's unbearable 10% of the time, that doesn't make me see her as a good person. About this “ghetto gangster hoodrat” stuff… I think we’re making a big deal out of not much here. The hoodrat comment was really offensive, but it’s true that Jasmine was acting ghetto/gangster-like; saying things like “I will ***** her up” and “We don’t do this in ___” is typical of gangs, and I’m not saying that because she’s black, I’ve seen black, white and latino people act ghetto (in person). In terms of the challenge cast, I think Tori was acting ghetto when she jumped on Camilla after she voted for Brad. Jenn and Camilla can be ghetto too, but Jonna doesn’t act ghetto, and neither does Theresa.
I liked that this mission was something more team work based than physical or mental attributes. It was cool to see them work through the differences and really communicate. Mike and Leroy are awesome! They are quickly climbing into my top 5 favorite RW/RR males. I like Kenny and all, but he was annoying when making fun of Mike's nerdiness . Seriously, you want to send the guy home just because of that? It's funny how Wes and Kenny were actually the ones to finish last. Tyrie and Davis impressed me with the fight that they put up in the Jungle, but I'm glad Wes and Kenny came back. The house would've been different without them. Good luck boys, trying to get rid of CT...

And they didn't know anything about Mike because the vegas season hadn't aired at yet at the time.

I can't remember if anyone posted this yet or not, but I pretty much died at the part when Kenny, Wes and Nehemiah were meditating and Leroy and CT came in and tried to read the card, and Wes was all "Does that mean they can't read?". Hilarious.
