Kenny just annoyed me this challenge with his "I'm entitled to automatically make the final challenge" attitude. I normally respect him and understand he's a constant ball buster. The whole "if we don't beat Tyrie/Davis then we don't deserve to be here" kind of rubbed me the wrong way. It just makes me want to root against the JEK alliance even more now and hope CT/Adam and Mike/Leroy can take the top 2 in the final.
I'm absolutely loving the mark that Jonna/Jasmine are making on this challenge so far. They kill it in episode 1. Jonna initiated the whole thing. It was just great that they didn't back down from that usual female circle, especially two heavily overrated competitors in Camila & Theresa. It's just refreshing to see somebody put a dent into that female circle for once. Tonight Jasmine/Jonna booked themselves for future challenges.
Another successful challenge for Leroy. This guy will be winning future finals for sure. While we watch the JEK alliace and all the swaying of the votes, it's great to see someone like a Landon on these challenges who want to play straight up. The guy just has ice water in his veins and lives for this type of competition. Go Leroy & Mike.
Tonight the conversation between her and Tyrie went something like this:
Jasmine: You're like a brother to me.
Tyrie: Wrong choice of words, unless you're talkin' about ******.
This conversation, along with the scene with them in the bathroom and Tyler's missing condoms, makes me believe they did have sex.
a) that seemed like a harmless joke. Nothing to take seriously.
b) we see crap like the condom/bathroom sceenes all the time. The producers/editors want us to believe that they had sex because that creates more drama.
I'm not saying that they did or didn't, because I don't know, but it seems like a classic case of editing to me. Maybe Jasmine will come on here to clear that up!
I used to think Kenny was funny but his jokes are the same shots at people's looks when he must have real self esteem problems. Everyone on the cast seems to like him so he must just be trying to hard to put on a show to stay on camera.
Evan i used to not like, but the podcast make me think he is actually really funny and good natured about it, when Kenny seems bitter and resentful of people. The island was the only time i didn't like Johnny, but i don't mind him. I wouldn't want to be in a game with him, because he will stab you in the back and make 1000 deals, but other than that, he is ok. Kenny has become my least fave of the JEK alliance
Soooo, I was on twitter minding my own business when a couple things caught my eye:
Apparently Camila and Theresa still don't like Jasmine and Jonna. Theresa even said something like "oh no Camila, the trolls are gonna bring knives to the challenge".
ALOT of people are ragging on Tyrie.
Tyrie and Kenny haven't gotten along since Gauntlet 3, but it is never shown. Well, atleast until this challenge.
For someone who went to Stanford, Adam sure is stupid. His back-talking is the reason for his ongoing conflict between him and CT. It's amazing how even after almost a decade, he still hasn't learned his lesson.
I love you Davis but you have no room to talk here lol
I agree, I like it too! I honestly think this could end up being the best challenge since Gauntlet 3!
You're kidding right?! LOL. Gauntlet 3 was one of the worst IMO.

Oh, I definitely agree that the editing insinuated that they hooked up. Tyrie's comment was said jokingly but the way Jasmine reacted, almost embarrassed, also leads me to believe they hooked up.
It doesn't really matter either way to me, I just thought I'd point out their convo.

How are Camila and Theresa in the "female circle"? Now if they had a fight with Laurel/Ev/Paula/Jenn, I would agree with you.
Didn't Camila call somebody by the wrong name on Cut Throat too?
Well considering she didn't have an actual season of Real World or Road Rules (well... who are we kidding? That's extinct now) and came from the Spring Break Challenge, that doesn't surprise me much.
I love you Davis but, you have no room to talk here lol
Is he kidding himself? He did absolutely nothing to Wes. Tyrie was actually doing a decent job against Kenny, but Wes was able to flank Tyrie with ease as soon as they got to the edge of the ring. I saw that as more of a pitiful showing from Davis.
I'm curious as to why everyone think's CT is a changed man. CT has always been cool, calm, and collected for the most part but when someone ****** him off he gets out of control. He never just is crazy for no reason, there's always a situation that arises that makes him get out of control. CT on the Duel 2 is not CT all the time. I mean most of you guys have watched the Inferno, Duel, I2, etc.?
This a million times over. I'm quite surprised people thought he'd be tearing down the walls and caving Adam's face in again. Obviously he wasn't going to do that, but to call him a changed man is a joke. There's enough evidence in the trailers to support that fact that once things don't go his way CT will start getting up in peoples faces again with his usual antics.
This episode was a perfect illustration of how weak the other guys are compared to CT & why CT dislikes Adam so much. It's comical to see grown men spout their mouths off constantly and then scramble together ways to gang up on somebody they're scared of.
What Adam did this episode is exactly why CT punked him out on their Real World season and why he gave him 12 stitches on Duel 2. CT's been nothing but nice to Adam so far and they're working very well as a team, yet Adam has to go behind his back and go out of his way to create conflict. By saying CT will change is attitude the minute they lose and then going behind CT's back and joining in on the **** talking sessions with the other guys, all he's doing is creating a self-fulfilling prophecy for himself... basically putting himself in a situation for CT to get pissed at him if they did lose.
And really Adam, you'd trade CT as your partner? The only two times you've made it past like the second episode on a challenge are when you've been on his team. I'm sure he feels the same way about you because if your team goes into an elimination with a structure like the one they had tonight against Wes/Kenny or Johnny/Tyler, your little *** is going to be the reason why your team loses.
This as well. Adam is really two faced, and even though not one of JEK have said in anything to support this, but to me it's crazy obvious they just use him as they please. They're not friends, they're not looking out for him, he's just looking dumb right now.
I highly disagree. So Adam talked smack about CT, maybe he was wrong, maybe he's always been wrong, but it's hardly a situation that's worthy of 12 stitches. What is this, kindergarden? People are always gonna do something stupid, you don't beat them up... is that the only way you can solve a situation? No, you an adult, that's poor conduct. I still think CT was way out of line then and all the times he got physical with Adam.
I don't agree with Adam, but doesn't mean he deserved 12 stitches or being pushed IMO.
Umm... Adam struck CT in the face with a foreign object and inflicted a cut on him that required stitches before CT even laid a hand on him. You pull a stunt like that with any grown man at a bar or something, and you're going to get decked in the face. Adam got what was coming to him.
You want to act like Adam's the adult when he's been the one being a ***** doing stuff and saying stuff about CT behind his back. An adult isn't afraid to do it face-to-face and Adam's never shown he has the balls to do it to anything to anybody's face.

Actually they are friends lol
Yeah of course Davis is no athlete, Tyrie did better tonight I thought. Kenny and Wes are both big and strong while only Tyrie is strong on the other side so it was uneven. You know what I find funny they were saying that Davis/Tyrie were winning at first when they werent! lol they were close to the edge right away.
Actually they are friends lol
Yeah so on Derrick's podcast when Derrick brings up what Adam is up to and Johnny and Kenny have no idea, that screams legitimate friendship to you?
Yeah so on Derrick's podcast when Derrick brings up what Adam is up to and Johnny and Kenny have no idea, that screams legitimate friendship to you?
They're probably not best friends but they don't dislike him, they want CT and Adam out not because of Adam but cause of CT. I bet if it was a individual challenge they would work with Adam because he's not really a physical threat.
Should I too comment on how it took tons of guys to carry it when CT could carry by himself? Hehehe :D
It seems to me most of the post-Fresh Meat/RW Austin (except Tyler, maybe) males are intimidated and jealous of C.T. He also seems to have grown a lot since fighting with Adam on the Ruins. It takes a real man to forgive someone for something like Adam did and it makes these guys look even less of men than C.T., especially Kenny. I don't know what kind of person Kenny is in real life but on t.v. he seems stuck in himself. How he was talking to C.T. at the end of the first episode was really tacky.

The editing looked like it was showing a couple shots over and over again so for all we know, they were winning at some point. We just didn't see it.
No one wants to answer my question?
Did the episode air twice?
Yes back to back. 10pm and 11pm. It airs more through out the week though.

I don't know i was just going by what Adam said in an interview, that's all i can go by lol
Anyway I like that it seems like they are having fun this challenge. People were complaining that challenges haven't been fun lately. But Laurel and Evan said this challenge is actually fun.
And that's a good thing. :wink2:
Yes back to back. 10pm and 11pm. It airs more through out the week though.

Yes there is always an repeat after
Thank you.
