Nope, I said she was ACTING someone from the hood. As I said before, it doesn't matter if this type of behavior is occasionally found in Beverly Hills. This type of behavior is associated with the hoods and Jasmine knows this and the whole street tough kid who rumbles and tumbles image was exactly what she was trying to portray in her altercation with Theresa. For some reason your extreme sensitivity to this issue has lead you to extrapolate and manipulate what I said into something that doesn't exist. And yes, you are being politically correct.
What hood have you lived in? And this behavior isn't "occasionally found in Beverly Hills." It's everywhere and done by all groups. I'm not being politically correct. Your statement just isn't accurate.
I can't remember if anyone posted this yet or not, but I pretty much died at the part when Kenny, Wes and Nehemiah were meditating and Leroy and CT came in and tried to read the card, and Wes was all "Does that mean they can't read?". Hilarious.
Well, like Leroy said the last book he read was Goosebumps.

I'd have to admit that some of the behavior would have been more appropriate to that show, at least for my more decorous taste.
This challenge definitely has the worst intro in challenge history.
The best part about the Jasmine/Theresa fight was the reactions of the other castmembers. Evelyn, Tyler, Paula, Laurel, CT, and Cara Marie were having a good ol' time watching it. Their ****** reactions had me cracking up. Laurel to Camilla: "What are you gonna dooooooooo?"

I'm really hoping CT can stay at the top in this game. I like that he's one of the few people who has the balls to stand up to the Legion of **********. While I found it hilarious that Kenny ended up in the Jungle, I knew he and Wes would win. It sucks because I like Wes, but I dislike Kenny a lot. By default, I now don't care for Wes.
I think there should be mike explains it all segements on the challege for now on.
I think there should be mike explains it all segements on the challege for now on.
Could we have a translated version of this, please?

"I think there should be ''Mike-explains-it-all'' segments on the challenge from now on." I would guess that the post is taunting at Mike's intelligence and love for explaining things (taunting in a fun way it seems).
I feel kind of bad for Mike cause everybody makes fun of him, then I remember where he stands mentally compared to the others so then I laugh it off.
I don't feel sorry for Mike. He's the smartest person on this challenge by far, so I think he has the last laugh.
I think for sure Mike will make it far in this in the challenge. Brains and Brawn make a good combanation.
I don't feel sorry for Mike. Because he's able to throw out a few facts relating to a subject he's clearly passionate about? Considering that it's been widely discussed that a lot of the people on these challenges do what's necessary for screen time, I doubt any of them are interested in trying to sound intelligent. That's not good entertainment. That being said, didn't Evan graduate from Cornell? I'm sure he's no slouch in the academic department. Sorry to ramble, but I watched The Real World with Mike and never understood why everyone was so adamant about his intelligence. Dorkiest person on the challenge? Absolutely. Smartest? I don't know...
A lot of ppl confuse dorkiness with intelligence, and that is exactly what is happening here. Do you guys rememeber Frank from Real World Vegas the 1st one? He seems like the "smartest one" in my opinion
Evan has never struck me as particularly intelligent as compared to other cast members. I distinctly remember on the Ruins when Wes told him that Wes' relationship with the team was "irreparable," then had to change his wording because Evan didn't know what was going on. I don't know, though. Maybe it's just that I don't like Evan much. I don't know about Mike (haven't watched his season), so I won't comment either way about him. But Ev and Katelynn are both extremely intelligent women and have proven themselves to be so across all the shows in which they have participated. I wouldn't bet on anyone against either of those two in the brains department.
That is one of my favorite scenes in all the challenges I've watched because it shows how smart Wes THINKS he is, as compared to how smart he ACTUALLY is. He tried to say irreparable. What he came up with something like "irreprigal". I don't think Evan understood because irreprigal isn't English. Though to be fair, and to tie it back to this episode, speaking English is not one of the many things Wes "does good".
I don't think grammar/vocabulary alone determines if some one is intelligent and I wouldn't say some one is stupid just because every sentence they say isn't grammatically correct, especially if it's not in a formal setting. Some one with a high vocabulary can just mean that they're doing an English major, which doesn't necessarily mean that they know a lot about life or that they're better in the game. I don't think that type of intelligence alone will get you far in the challenges, but if someone is good with mathematics then usually that means they can do puzzles quickly and they may have better problem solving skills which might help when it comes to strategizing which can benefit you more in the game than a high vocabulary. Although a higher vocabulary can show that you went to university/College, which would automatically make you more intelligent than the average high school drop out, but that's about it.
Adam King graduated from Stanford, so that's another person who seems dumb but is actually pretty smart. And on another note I watched Mike's RW season and he definitely didn't look like an intelligent person to me at all. He's just very articulate and knows a lot about agriculture. That's it.
I never understood why Aneesa, Ty, Brandon, Tyrie, Jazz, and Jonna didn't just host a little NAACP meeting and change the balance in political power in this game. They certainly had the numbers from the start...
I wonder if this comment would have been deleted if a regular member wrote it... Seriously what a joke and I can't believe this was just swept under the rug. I'm sorry, but where does it say that all the black people should work together because they have the same skin color? I'm disgusted and appalled...shame shame on you Katelynn...

I thought she meant the outsiders should band together haha.

ALL of the black people on the show are outside the main alliance. It only makes sense for them to band together, not BECAUSE they're black, but because they need to work together to succeed.
NAACP | National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Go ahead..educate yourself.
Ok you're going to have to forgive my ignorance, I never heard of NAACP,and didn't bother trying to figure out what the acronym stands for when she wrote it. Having said that I still don't find that statement offensive or anything, but it is kind of random that she said it lol.
