I looked at the clock and was like wow it's already 945 cst time. It flew by to me. I think they had to do a lot of intro stuff, set up the rivalries, but I liked how they did it. But it left a lot open to look forward to in future episodes. I like the hour long challenges. The fight was my least favorite part actually, was just a stupid open hand slap from a drunken d bag to a drunken d bag. I think after the Darrell/Brad and CT/Adam, the bar was set pretty high :)
You mean yes man to WES, not JEK. Love how people are still finding way to blame them when they had nothing to do with Wes speaking to Leroy.
I didn't just say it's good to see Leroy not be a Yes man, but ROOKIES in general, implying JEK typicaly manipulate the rookies. I didn't blame JEK this time all , but typically Rookies just follow along with what vets say using JEK as example because they always have big alliance and rookies blindly follow. Leroy didn't follow that path. Leroy has been consistent so far since his very first show on real world to now. He has made me a fan.
Am I the only one that laughed at the part right when LeRoy and Adam were about to jump. Lee said " Lets try to clear that *****" and then Adam replied "yeah yeah...lets clear it, *****". lol. I think he automatically thought Lee was calling him a *****.
LOVED Katelynn getting in Laurel's face. "If your not afraid to bleed for some money, what the **** are you doing here?" DEAD. I really can't stand Laurel. Kenny was hilarious as usual, love CT& Adam, love Leroy, and of my course my love Evan. I'm so excited for this season! PS. Jasmine, back away from Tyrie. No....just no.
but why risk yourself this early in elimination if you don't have to? If Katelynn wants to "bleed for some money" then why didn't she just volunteer herself to go in? Laurel's one of the best female competitors on the challenge - and Katelynn has yet to prove herself at all, yet she wants to talk *** to Laurel?

Noticed his comment about a black girl liking black guys finally being on the challenge. And how many black girls has he done challenges with before? Janelle (biracial), Aneesa (biracial), Coral, and Angel? He was in a relationship during G3, so that shouldn't count. So there is I3 and The Island? Janelle likes black guys. I wonder if he tried to get with one of these women on a show?

If she really wanted them to go home, she could've went in and took them out herself but instead chose another "strong" team, who ended up losing. I agree with Katelynn's POV only because Laurel was trying to manipulate the whole situation when really, the rest of the house should've been doing the same to her and Cara Maria. Laurel's move was smart by beating Aneesa to the punch and throwing their name out their, but still, Katelynn wasn't wrong.

You're right. Honestly I think it's kind of unfair Robin and Aneesa went home. They had the 2nd best score of the girls and only lost by seconds.
I'm just gonna say it now...I'm gonna continue to be captain save-a-****** to Kenny and Evan..they always get **** blamed on them even when they don't do anything. But okay Jojo, I see what you were saying and Yes, I love Leroy. And Brunett, IMO, Laurel knew damn well Aneesa and Robin wouldn't have a chance against Paula and Evelynn. The whole point was not about going in, it was about Laurel trying to save her own ***. I don't give a **** if Katelynn hasn't proved herself, she called Laurel out on her ****. Same thing with Leroy, he "spoke" his mind before the mission yet really didn't prove himself. Sorry, I just really dislike her.

It was blindingly obvious that Laurel was attempting to ensure that she would be safe from an elimination round. Whether taking such a position is good game or cowardly game may be open to interpretation (and viewer whim), but Katelynn's own comments here at vevmo seem to make her the defining voice on the subject unless Laurel swallows her pride and returns to vevmo to make her own defense. ~~~ Laurel's comment that she could beat Evelyn was just too funny. Perhaps she was, and remains, incapable of understanding the irony of her words when contrasted with her behavior in ensuring she was not the one at risk.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, I just didn't want to read 58 pages worth of conversation, but was it just me or did the episode seem a bit rushed? I feel like they moved from one thing to another too quickly, and didn't really introduce everyone as they normally do. Granted, most people watching know everyone already, but the editing just seemed a little bit off. And as far as the whole Katelynn - Laurel thing, Laurel had every right to do what she did, she doesn't need to go in and prove herself in a Jungle. And what the hell is Katelynn doing calling out Laurel?

And me not liking Tyrie has nothing to do with his skin color, clearly, he is just a clown. Never liked him Denver, never liked him on a challenge, never will like him. He just comes off so arrogant about everything is the weakest competitor there. I bet Ryan Kehoe is stronger than he is.
Might as well ask her to walk into a burning building. :D
I volunteer to bring extra gasoline. After all, I was just about her only defender here during the "Eric affair." (And I caught lots of **** from Katie for it.)

Was that incident the last time she posted here?
I don't think what Laurel did was wrong at all. It was the smart thing to do for herself. Aneesa and Robin didn't have as many friends so no one would feel bad voting for them. I see where she's coming from. I do agree with Katelyn as far as saying that Laurel is the only one who has a chance to beat Evelyn and I know she didn't say these exact words but it almost felt implied that she thinks it's cowardly of Laurel to not go in herself. While that does make sense, isn't Katelyn looking out for herself too by wanting the two strongest girls to go in so one goes home so it's less competition for her? I think it's very annoying when someone calls someone else out on something that they would do or already do themselves. And before I get flamed for hating on Katelyn, I thought it was really dumb when Laurel got all mad for Aneesa telling everyone they should vote her in.

I wasn't implying that. I just thought it was interesting what he said. Yes, I've noticed the dating patterns he mentioned. But I agree with you - there is slim pickings among the black guys on the show. I've always thought they needed to up the casting in regards to the black guys. I think Alton and Darrell are two of the best looking guys EVER from the shows, and I think they are cool. But those are really the only two I totally like that way. Brandon is a great one for the latest additions. Leroy is kind of cute, too, and I've heard mostly good things about him from the people who watched his season. Then there are guys who are either decent looking OR seem like decent enough people. No "total" package. But I could say that about a lot of the guys of other races on the shows, too. Some of these good looking guys come across as jerks. And besides, there are usually only one or two black guys on a challenge, anyway. Should they just go for the only black guy just because he's the same race?

These challenges are all about self-preservation (or in this case, team preservation). Anyone who volunteers themselves for an elimination is either trying to prove some sort of point, or colossally stupid. Those on the outside (such as Katelynn/Sarah, Camila/Theresa, Jenn/Mandi, and Jasmine/Jonna) should have (and some did) weighed the options and paired the two strongest teams together to have their chances for a final become stronger, but obviously not everyone did that. It's great to keep your friends around and stuff, but at some point you have to make a move. Self-preservation becomes harder when you want to do hoodrat stuff with your friends.

It's the arrogance, hubris and duplicity that I find unappealing and very, very unattractive. If she had "game," she would have been stealthy and far more creative.
I like Katelynn, btw, I just think she needs to step up and prove herself before she starts talking all this crap about more experienced challengers, especially in situations that don't concern her.
I agree with those who think Laurel was being smart, for the reasons already mentioned. And yes, those who made the point that Laurel is strong and could have volunteered were right, too. Since she used the strength argument, it was only fair for it to be thrown back at her. But for reasons already stated, of course Laurel wouldn't put herself out there. Laurel having the connections and putting herself out there as the vocal one to start the voting also meant that other people would buy into what she was saying. Once she got the ball rolling, of course others would follow. The outsiders needed to have that vocal person to counter it. Of course that will also require them grouping together, or else they will get no where. brunett, clicking on the link V1man provided should lead you to a post from the Laurel thread or to the Laurel thread directly. You can see there why a lot of people feel the way they do about Laurel, and how strongly people feel about her. Or the Cutthroat episode threads will do.
I was really surprised the 2 rookie teams won a challenge, even though it was really up for grabs and the winner had no power other than immunity and btw why no prizes?
