why not?
Because there just aren't. Maybe they will be posted at a later time but it's doubtful. We don't produce the show so you may want to direct your questions towards those directly involved.
Who knows. Maybe they got smart and are actually saving the footage for the S%*t They Should Have Shown episode. This way we won't have a bajillion people complaining that it's just the dailies and nothing new!
Cara Maria posted on her formspring yesterday that there will be dailies and that she wouldn't lie. But judging from the "online exclusives", I'm starting to doubt there will be any this season which sucks.
No offense to Cara Maria...but this isn't the first time she has lied to her fans.
On Twitter Aneesa said that she and Laurel really knew what was going on during the Aneesa/Robin getting Thrown in. What did happen? I also loved how Anessa responded to Laurel trying to throw her in by saying "if your worried about having someone being taken out you go do it yourself"
As I was saying before, the cinematography is far different. They must be using new angles to shoot at, new cameras, something. It's the same thing with the first episode of the Real World: Las Vegas... the show feels staged now.
I think it's done the show some good, especially Vegas. They are just trying to keep it modern and fresh looking. I personally like it and have no problems with it.
Where's ratings?
The ratings normally surface somewhere online between 5-8 central time.
Oh, I know your not liking Tyrie much isn't about skin color. I wasn't implying that.
I just thought it was interesting what he said. Yes, I've noticed the dating patterns he mentioned. But I agree with you - there is slim pickings among the black guys on the show. I've always thought they needed to up the casting in regards to the black guys. I think Alton and Darrell are two of the best looking guys EVER from the shows, and I think they are cool. But those are really the only two I totally like that way. Brandon is a great one for the latest additions. Leroy is kind of cute, too, and I've heard mostly good things about him from the people who watched his season. Then there are guys who are either decent looking OR seem like decent enough people. No "total" package. But I could say that about a lot of the guys of other races on the shows, too. Some of these good looking guys come across as jerks.
And besides, there are usually only one or two black guys on a challenge, anyway. Should they just go for the only black guy just because he's the same race?
I completely forgot about Darrell and Brandon, wow. I like both of them too. Tyrie just needs to realize that is not always about skin color. His comment just irritated me. Does he think he's the George Clooney of black men or something? lol. If I was on the challenge I'd go for CT or Evan before I'd go for Leroy and I "like" all three of them but that doesn't make me like black men any less.
And by the way, I'm not hating on Laurel, and I'm not saying she isn't smart but there was no need for Laurel giving the run around on pretending like she thought Aneesa and Robin could beat Ev and Paula. Please. And I thought Katelynn's comment was hilarious. So what. Clearly I don't care who avoids elimination rounds because we all know who my favorites are.
I think you're about the 12847635th person to ask...
No, no dailies.
And I think I only answered twice. Lost are the days of patience...
According to mtv CT was shot in the back, I thought he said his brother was shot but then again he does tend to talk funny and mumble alot. MTV has typos alot too though.
And I think I only answered twice. Lost are the days of patience...
Well it's because they said be patient so everyone was expecting to see dailies after the 1st episode, but then there wasn't any so everyone started freaking out again. We can't be told to be patient when there is nothing to be patient for lol.
I think he said, something like Kenny is under the impression he/Wes are top dogs in the house(Kenny laughs), when in reality CT is going to go along with that to convince everyone in the house to put him in everytime to get rid of him. Even though in reality he is top dog. I thnk is what he said.
What did CT say to Wes and Kenny about what everyone in the house thinks? That Boston mumble is killer. "People think you're top dogs in the house"?
Other people think that you think taht you're top dogs in this house
That's what I hear in it :p

You missed my point (I was referring to my own lack of patience with people asking the same question again and again), but those who paid attention to what I had posted knew the likely outcome.
I really liked that the usual suspects were completely flying under the radar in this episode. Johnny, Evan, Kenny, Wes, and CT all had their confessionals where they made colorful remarks, but in general the episodes focus was well spread throughout all the cast members.
Also yeah the editing seemed a little fast paced, but for some reason it really reminded me of the older challenges in that way. A lot was going on, I wasn't bored for a second and pretty much had an ear to ear smile the entire time.

I noticed that as well. I was happy to see Jonna, Jasmine, Leroy, Adam, etc. all have screen time even though I don't care for 3/4 listed. Usually rookies don't get any screentime unless they are sucking up to the vets (I'm looking at you Sarah).
Usually the elimination losers get a lot of screentime in the episode, or the elimination/challenge winners, which worked out well for this episode because it kinda put JEK out of the picture.
Having rewatched the episode I have to say:
Ty is extra "flamboyant" when he's drunk.
Jonna looks cute when she's doing commentary but not so much when she's just hanging around in the house.
It's funny how after the show it seemed like everyone liked Adam R. for hitting Ty from what I saw from twitter but feelings changed after they watched his season and realized he's just as big of a loser.
It's good to see even as ******* as Wes and CT act, they have a caring side as evident when Wes was counseling Robin and CT was counseling Mandi.
Why does everyone say new CT when referring to this CT? He was like this during the older challenges. I think the new cast just aggravates him more and that's why he was lashing out in the last few challenges. I also love how he blatantly told Kenny and Wes he's coming after him every chance he gets.

Yeah I don't get that. CT on the first episode of Rivals reminds me of CT on the Duel and Inferno. He's nice to the girls, and will occasionally joke around with the guys while mostly keeping to himself, but after enough time it's pretty obvious he's gonna start getting in peoples faces again, which judging from the trailers happens quite a bit.

I didn't mind it for Vegas but for The Challenge, it's too rushed. It looks staged and doesn't really give the viewer time to get immersed in the situations/cast members personalities. I'm not gonna watch if it continues like this. it's just boring, not interesting.

LOL that's how I know whose going home on Top Chef--they show an interview clip without exception during the episode.
I don't like the guy episode/girl episode layout of Rivals.
Maybe the fast editing is because they had a lot to fit into this episode and maybe since there were no team dynamics to work on, the cast didn't give them much to work with other than Adam and Katelynn's non-sense.
I think MTV should do a Challenges Uncensored Part 2. I know MTV doesn't do that show anymore, but it would be nice to see some behind the scenes things and explanations about the group of challenges after Battle of the Sexes 2.
I would love to see that too. That was when the ratings were big and the show was pretty popular. They used to make so many specials like "preview specials" and "battle scars" (gauntlet to the inferno).
I'm going to guess 3 things, one of which I know is true:
1. Adam did not get paid for his appearance on the Challenge.
2. Adam did not get the $1000 for which he won on the first mission.
3. Adam had to pay for his own flight home.
Yup, that's what I'm thinking. Breach of contract, you're not allowed to physically assault somebody.
Ty starting all that drama! He does it on purpose, gotta love it. I loved the beginning of the episode where they all walked in and it had crazy music with the past fighting in the background... totally epic.
Just listened to the podcast with Laurel and Evan. Funny what they said about Adam just randomly hitting Ty an hour after they argued lol. Laurel is more annoying on this podcast than on the show, i still like her though. And lol at Dustin's jive talk :P So true.

Re-watching this on tv, I'm noticing something and I'm wondering if I'm the only one. Is it me or was this episode at least partially off sync in terms of audio? It seems to me like the sound was a delayed by a tiny amount, just enough for it to be noticeable. I don't think it's MTV since I don't remember Vegas being like this, but did anyone else notice something like this on their tv?

My friend pointed that out to me, that Jasmines words weren't matching her mouth. I didn't notice it.

Ha, I noticed Ty falling through his bed and thought they just had garbage mattresses or something, was hilarious to find out that was a prank from Johnny and Evan.
This elimination round was made for Laurel with her incredible reach.
I was thinking the same, with both Cara Maria and Laurel being tall (not sure about CM though), they would have had an advantage in this one, but I wondered if the elimination rounds are set, or they change them based on the people in them.
