Wes isn't stupid. He knows CT is trying to push him into a fight, so he's not going to react. Wes will just stand there and watch as CT acts like the bully that he is and probably laugh at him later. Wes is a pretty chill guy. He doesn't fly off the handle anymore.
When i think of Wes, i don't think of chill really at all. He has flipped out a few times already in the challenges whether it be at Johanna/Casey or trying to fight Darrell or Kenny. He was never once going to fight them though, because he sees the bigger picture, pretty much just talk. Chill people don't constantly throw hissy fits. He seems like a good guy actually, but he is pretty emotional and it makes scenes But with someone like CT, he will actually back up his big talk, it will be interesting. Because Wes sees himself as the most dominant, so you would think he would react so he wouldn't look bad in front of the house. I think Wes doesn't want to look "punked" by him regardless on tv or in front of the rest of the challengers.
Anessa should of just talked, the problem is that everyone will want to get rid of robin becuase she can't talk, instead of thinking, lets get rid of one team that has a great player on it. Either Laurel or Ev..... But I guess that would be too smart for these people.

Welcome back to the games vets, Laurel is new school, she is shady, stupid idiot. Who is scared, and has nothing, nothing to prove to anyone that she is a strong competitor. She rode the coat tails of Kenny, then rode the tails of ABe.
I would classify Laurel as JEK in terms of her competitive nature, social game and somewhat shadiness (not too much though since she did tell Aneesa what she thought and called out Aneesa and Robin after they called her out). You can not like the chick, but she is a good competitor and smart at the politics of this game. When she is drunk, she turns into old CT= bad. (And she did not ride the coattails of Abe, that was CM). I am so interested in seeing her stick up for Cara Maria in this challenge after last challenge (Cutthroat), it's like the perfect irony.
So the girls had a chance to have EVELYN vs LAUREL in the first round and they didn't take that opportunity? Are they playing with any type of intelligence at all?? I don't really understand what the purpose/strategy was in putting in Aneesa. Hopefully one of the girls takes to twitter or something to explain the logic in this strategy because that really didn't make ANY sense and I'm honestly baffled.
I think it's one of two reasons they didn't put in Laurel vs Ev. Well firstly, the guys are not really benefitting from having strong or weak girls there, so I'm guessing they will vote based on who they're friends with, which would probably quicker be Laurel/Cara Maria than Aneesa/Robin. Secondly, the girls must have been intimidated by both Aneesa and Laurel (except Katelynn, who I'm learning to respect for her upfront nature). Robin did not help their cause. I am guessing that the girls either voted Aneesa because they were convinced in some way that she was a strong competitor and they wouldn't want to go up against her in an elimination round OR Laurel and Evelyn/Paula has friends who they don't want to **** off by putting them against each other (Although it would have been the smartest move).

I think Laurel is just confident becuase she knows she has backing. So she can run her mouth and not go in unless they get last. Which would be their own fault. You know she is in some alliance with JEK/Wes/Nehemia.

That's why I said he doesn't fly off the handle anymore. Wes doesn't need to react to CT. Everyone knows CT's game. He likes to bully/intimidate. Kenny/Wes/Evan (the guys who've been around) know this. These guys aren't going to fall for his act. Not for one second do I believe that Wes/Kenny or even Evan are afraid of CT. I just believe they are there to win not prove their manhood by getting into a fight with CT.

Only thing i agree is CT does intimidate as part of his game, but it works for him if he doens't get physical. He also is a dominant athlete which adds to his intimidation. Cara M on her formspring even said she thinks all the guys are intimidated by him for sure no matter how they act on camera. So it must be pretty obvious, they aren't exactly best buds so why would she say that. Just because Cara says it doesn't make it true, but something must make her think that way. Knowing it will be on camera, they can easily avoid a confrontation or scene with him and make it seem like they don't fear him, while doing everything they can behind the scenes to not face him in an elimination.
I, for one, actually really like the new cinematography. It contributed to my excitement about the challenge because it just seemed so...movie-like. It's a bit odd to get used to, but I really like it.
What I think is really interesting and very likely to cause some issues is that each pair only has one vote. Also, I want to know how Aneesa and figured out what Laurel was writing on the notebook.
Also, I want to know how Aneesa and figured out what Laurel was writing on the notebook.
Davis, who was sitting behind Laurel and Theresa, saw and told Aneesa.

Laurel doesn't seem like she would keep it quiet. Plus Besides JEK/CT/WES Aneesa/Robin probably don't know a lot of the newer people, which can be a bad thing and make them easy targets. I don't think JEK/CT/WES would have their backs

But I do think they know how good of a competitor CT can be once his anger is controlled, everyone does.

She didn't appear to be making an effort to cover it. I loved when Aneesa was yelling out something like "captain obvious!"
I wanted to see more of the deliberation process...but I guess since there were so many people it may have gotten boring to see everyone vote. I thought it was weird though that Evelyn and Paula were allowed to sit in and listen to who they were going to throw in.
I'm very confident that, one on one, Leroy could take out Kenny, perhaps Wes, and he's 100% confident of that. Another really attractive quality of Leroy’s. LOL I love the new CT. It's nice to have a cast with both JEK and people like CT and Leroy who won't take crap from them =D Hopefully they an others will start a resistance after so many years.
I think that there is a very fine line between cocky and confident, and Leroy walks it well. He isn't too outspoken, but it seems like he has done his research on the way these challenges work. He also appears more than capable to perform at a high physical level.
TL;DR VERSION: Whimmy wham wham wazzle!
I thought the mission was a good idea and also thought it was intended to be exactly like a long jump. I noticed that Adam R's form was very similar to a long jumper. However, you're absolutely right: Adam R's punching form is laughable. Thanks for the TL;DR version :D
Where is the preview for the 2nd episode, I had to watch the episode that aired at 1am but at the end it just showed the whole "this season on rivals" preview, and I don't see it on the mtv site.
Right here. She essentially gave them no chance to discuss why they wanted CM & Laurel in the elimination by starting the voting ASAP. And I'm sure she was hoping that Theresa would also volunteer Aneesa & Robin right away, which would start the bandwagon effect. It was a good move. As for why they voted Aneesa & Robin, Laurel said on the bus that she thought Aneesa and Robin were a strong team. And that could have be corroborated by how well they did on the mission.
I laughed when Ty said "Laurel you're that tall and still have cellulite on the back of your legs, that's hella attractive." Usually I wouldn't laugh at something like that but Laurel deserves her own medicine.
LOL. I didn't hear that part, that is great!!! :D
I thought Ty was acting so childish and I actually sided with Adam. Ty deserved that punch, but Adam should not have gave Ty what he wanted, to get sent home. I also think it's great that Jasmine/Jonna and Leroy/Adam won the first challenge

It was made possible because of Robin's brilliant oratory skills.... and Laurel's smarts. I like Aneesa, sorry to see her go, but I wanted to see Ev and Paula as well as Laurel and CM stay longer. Also Aneesa doesn't seem to hold it against Laurel from what she Tweeted. Seems like they are friends.
Yea, I enjoyed seeing that as well. :D Just wish Adam wouldn't have gone home so soon. :(
I know it was great seeing him kind of stick up for Leroy. They could've done great this season, but Mike will be good too
It sucks that two good veterans are gone, yet things like Theresa, Laurel, Camila & Mandi remain.
Leroy was great this episode, best part was his comment to Wes when he was manipulating Adam: 'I don't trust that mother ****er' :p
It sucks that two good veterans are gone, yet things like Theresa, Laurel, Camila & Mandi remain.
I feel like every time I read one of your posts, a little piece of positivity dies inside. Be happy. You'll live longer.
Lamb Chop's thoughts: - I'm usually just "meh" on CT, but I LOVED the fact that he acknowledged how Johnny, Evan, and Kenny are full of themselves and skate right to the finals. I hope he destroys them in the elimination rounds (assuming he takes them on himself) - I always say that I'll like Laurel... But nope... She annoys me. She's lucky she's hot. - It's going to bother me all season that Mike and Leroy are partners. They're not rivals! They're bros! I don't see how that's fair... The least they could have done is bring Zito in instead. That would have made more sense honestly. - Adam R is a loser. I didn't watch much of Vegas, but I did catch the reunion and he's an idiot. - Jonna looks weird - I'm sad that Aneesa and Robin went first, but I did kind of want Paula/Evelyn to win. I've become a fan of Ev's over the years (I used to despise her).
I feel like every time I read one of your posts, a little piece of positivity dies inside. Be happy. You'll live longer.
You're confusing him with me :D
Also anyone else thinks it's weird that they didn't cover up the rocks during the challenge? They all swung right into the cliff, and some swung in hard :p
Leroy was great this episode, best part was his comment to Wes when he was manipulating Adam: 'I don't trust that mother ****er' :p
I was so happy he said that!! That couldn't of been any more perfect lol

Yeah, they invited Mike/Zito to be a group but Zito turned it down.

They should have just brought in a random old castmember who causes drama, like Dunbar, or someone who didn't know Leroy. That way they still have to learn to work together and aren't best freinds in a team challenge where everyone else really prefers not to be around the other. But it is kind of nice to see a rookie team with an advantage. I am so tired of all newbies being sent home right away (at least so far) than it becomes all about JEK. Nice to see a vet team go first.
