I saw that Spencer intro video was on their site the first week this season aired when I was trying to figure out whether Dustin was a solo performer or more than that because some gay solo stuff apparently is actually straight people thinking they are doing it for female audiences, so I don't see it as a 360. I think they have been after other sites to take content down, but I always assumed this is because they are going to try to get themselves the most traffic for this.
I have this weird feeling that Dustin may have been sexually abused in his past. Have no info to support that, but his erratic behavior and attitudes would be consistent with something like that IMO.
Anyway I don't understand how in the latest episode he was saying that he would feel to uncomfortable to walk around shirtless if there was a gay guy in the house, yet he can have sex with straight men?

Who's to say that the whole fratpad experience didn't make him very uncomfortable for the future? You figure that if he had to do stuff like that for four years with dudes only for money, he'd be afraid of that stuff happening in real life. I think he's over it and just wants to justify his manhood.

Maybe, although I'd have thought that experience would have only made him more comfortable.
I took it as him deliberately playing up his heterosexuality to the camera, which is a bit contradictory when you have already admitted to having sex with men.

He hasn't admitted that...yet. He has only mentioned (that we have seen, anyway) that he has kissed another man.
I actually don't think he had sex with another guy on fratpad did he? I mean I guess he kissed guys and I don't know about oral, but I wasn't even sure if that site was guy's going at it with each other or if they were just kinda doing their own thing next to each other.

Not to the housemates but in the first episode he (seemed to) admitted it to the producers whilst in the casting stage.
Of course that interview could have been after the revelation came out to the housemates. With the producers making it seem like a casting interview to make the storyline flow better.
TBH I think the latter is more probable, considering how shocked he looked in the trailer when the housemates do find out.

It depends what you class as "sex". After a bit of research :p. He has definitely done everything up to oral and has well (in the least vulgar way possible) used a *****, I'm not sure about actual **** though.
Before the season started I expected him to be my favorite but he's easily (and quickly) became my least favorite. I don't like his attitude or his flare for drama and throwing tantrums.
The comments he made about gay people were ignorant and ridiculous and to me just came off as someone who is not secure with their own sexuality or identity so they attack others out of insecurity. I'm not even saying I think he's gay but the fact that he's done gay **** yet tries to act as if he's not comfortable around gay men is an obvious sign there are some issues there for him. Whether it be sexual insecurity or just being fake and trying to project a certain image for the camera/show I don't know.
People are being pretty brutal to him on twitter. A couple people have been tweeting pics from Fratpad where he's being very, um, oral and calling him out on being such a hypocrite. Two **** stars WENT OFF on him a few nights ago, it was pretty humorous. He's for the most part just completely ignored all the negativity which kudos to him, cause theres lots.
Anybody know anything about him and Heather being together anymore? It doesn't seem like it on Twitter. I just don't know if it's to fake us out.

Because this was posted in March.
I feel like Dustin might possibly be the most fake cast member we have seen in a long time.
First, talking down on homosexuality, when in fact, you do gay ****. I understand not wanting to come right out and broadcast your experiences, as there's a time and a place. If that's your situation then keep quiet. Outwardly speaking against it is another story. On that conversation they had about it, Heather stated she wouldn't be comfortable being with a man who's been with a man. Well, that's about time you be honest with her, since you weren't honest before you started with her.
Second, I was impressed when he stepped up and tried to take care of and protect Nany during the Adam incident and take a stand against him. That view of him was botched after he then proceeded to laugh at Adam's antics when he continued them the next morning, and went out on a limb to call Nany a dumb ho about it. Regardless of whether he's right about her actions, or whether he really thinks Adam is funny, 24 hours ago he were singing a different tune.
I can't wait to hear what Leroy and Heather have to say when the gay past leaks.
He did an interview recently (cannot recall if it was in a podcast or his ology interview) in which he indicates that his prior career wasn't his biggest secret and there have been some reports that he recently attended an adult entertainment expo in Arizona. My guess is that to him, this is not as big of a thing as it is to most people. He did clarify in a podcast that it felt to him that MTV tried to make him look awful when he was actually speaking about how he gets nervous in clubs when there are gay people there because he has been recognized by them in the past from Fratpad and some of them got really obnoxious and grabby with him. So to me, it is less that he dislikes gay people and more that he just avoids them in clubs because, for lack of a better word, it can be a little traumatic for him. Sort of like after you are in an accident, you get gun shy driving under certain situations similar to your accident.
Sure he is a little fake, but that may be also that he wants to be interesting for the viewers. My take is that he wants to do well and it is more about wanting to be a good employee for BMP. I read somewhere that when he went back and forth on Fratpad, he was actually working in the office learning business skills when not on camera. Plus, I think some of it is just humor that is taken the wrong way by sensitive people like the whole "sniffing my underwears" exchange.
I'm disgusted right now, there is a possibility that Dustin went down on another guy and he is trying to cover it up.
It's not a possibility, and in the mid-season preview he admits to having sex with another man.
I have a feeling Dustin will be one of those cast members who never appear on a challenge because how embarrassed he'll be. Seriously imagine how much **** he'd get from Kenny & crew about doing gay ****. lmao

But he could totally work with Dunbar. Take "work" however you like.

We will know soon enough, but I am not sure that he is really embarrassed about it the way people would think. It seems that he used this story to get on the cast and has been upfront about it from day one. Even discussed in his first confessional.

Yeah but I don't think Dunbar directly did it with a guy like Dustin apparently has.
Anyway, it's gonna depend on what Dustin's original intentions were for joining Fratpad. I've heard (not sure where) that if you want to become a **** star, there are no roles in regular **** at first. You kind of have to do gay **** first in order to work up to that. If Dustin wanted to be a **** star, then it's at least sort of understandable. If not, then I don't know.

From what I have heard, these content providers are struggling all across the spectrum, but seems like more people report going from straight to gay than the other way around. I suspect he needed cash desperately and that paid more than McDonald's and then he just got lured in deeper and deeper until he had his "one" full-on encounter with a guy pitching and catching. (though he apparently did some Monica Lewinsky style shows with more than just that 1 guy)
Any dude that can pop a b**er with another dude in the room and rub sticks and more is at least bi. There couldn't be any gay for pay straight dudes even though that's what it implies... You would never be able to get it up no matter what.
[strike]viagra is used it a lot of **** , its not uncommon for the ppl to not actually be attracted to eachother even in straight ****[/strike]

Yeah the viagra thing applies generally. From what I can gather, however, Dustin was there a long time and it went from basically solo performances to group performances, to a little Monica, to more frequent Monica's, to the one full-fledged leap frogging encounter, so there was some acclimation time. My general impression is that site is mostly just guys running around naked and chatting with subscribers with some self-love in the mix and that the other more intense stuff is reserved for special shows where members pay a huge additional fee to watch and that the performers get payed a lot more for doing.
Dustin has completely dug himself a hole, and I can't wait to see him get buried in it. Based on the new "Dustin Gets Grabbed" daily, if a gay guy touches his hand he deserves to get punched. Really now...

I have also read that Viagra is quite common in the **** industry, gay and straight (thanks, Reddit!).
And to answer another question that has been running around:
As to the disappearance of images online, the creator of The Real World, Jon Murray, told me came from Dustin, not producers or MTV, which many people have speculated was the case. In an interview I did with Jon for an upcoming feature story in Playboy, I asked him about Dustin and the disappearance of the images, and he said, “I think he’s talked with the site and his former employer, and I think he may have been working with them to try to get some of it taken down. But I’m not really involved in that, and I don’t know specifically if that’s the case, but that’s sort of generally what I’ve heard.”
So, MTV has done nothing to remove any of the images of Dustin from Fratpad's site. That was all Dustin himself.
Also interesting to me:
Jon said that, during casting, “There were a lot of conversations with him and part of why he wanted to do this was to just get it out in the open and get it behind him. And I thought it was a really interesting story, because whether it’s that’s particular story, having done one of these voyeuristic web sites, or some other mistake someone’s made in life, there are a lot of people out there that society might judge them badly for or they might judge themselves badly for, and part of how to deal with that and how to move on is a really important story for our audience.”
Yet Dustin's biggest fear is that Heather will find out.
Dustin does not add up to me. He claims he wants to be on the show to get it out in the open and put it behind him, then ducks his head into his shell when given the opportunity. He then proceeds to take several steps backward in "putting it behind him" when he makes several homophobic comments. He must have been banking that no one would find out his past. He must not be familiar with this site. However, I'm sure that any of the gay **** sites out there would have outed him if we hadn't.
My favorite comment:
I do believe there are some truly heterosexual guys who do gay **** to pay the bills. Then, there is Dustin.
via
Molds, I will grant you he is all over the place. My instinct is as follows: Yes he wanted to be on the show and yes he was willing to get it out there but he wanted to be comfortable with the people first. Heather IMO pursued him as well and was the one who initiated the relationship becoming sexual based upon the daily where Dustin had talked about saying no at first. Once he was in that situation, he was backed into a corner. My guess about the Fratpad pulled content was that he had a good relation with his boss (since some say he worked in the corporate offices and stayed around a lot longer than most) and he asked them to pull it back maybe to help protect Heather some and diffuse the public scrutiny that has come to pass. It appears to me he was trying to work things out with her even after taping. I believe he had genuine feelings for her, but she seems almost like Dustin was her booty call boy and she is more concerned about her reputation than having a long-term relationship with him. She never seemed that into him based on the dailies I have seen where they discussed it or she discussed it w/other cast members.
I don't know if this question has been asked, or is inappropriate to ask, but I'm going too anyway. Did Dustin actually engage in oral sex or legitimate intercourse on the website he was on?
