Then you really haven't been paying attention cause all one had to do was look at this entire thread from the jump then do an online search or ask somebody. CRG you know better than that. -_-
CRG has a tendency to put on a facade as if he doesn't know what's going on at all. He's being ironic.
Duh, How did you no know that? I thought we been over this time and time again, No offense. Frapad, Sean Cody and the like are all the same. It's just like that show from the adult channel Spice where they had naked chicks all on camera 24/7. loL@ Self love. I love that description so much, I'm going to have to start using it. And RandomGay did you have your account deleted from FP or did you just leave? I never and will never understand how sites like that expect people to pay for it when there are, I'm sure, of other websites that have free stuff if you're into that kind of thing. Then you really haven't been paying attention cause all one had to do was look at this entire thread from the jump then do an online search or ask somebody. CRG you know better than that. -_-
Never underestimate my power of Laziness. who is Sean Cody? I never read a person's entire thread. I saw his name, and I just watched the episode so I looked. I was and still am too lazy to go back and read what Fratpad is. So thank you to SeanDaniel and RandomGay for explaining it so eloquently. Hahah and Old Friend, I am not going to google search Dustin, to see what Fratpad is. I am not into men running around naked. I did ask. Just now! Maybe I should have paid more attention? But castmembers and the show are just not as intriguing to me.
See that is where he will get himself in the most trouble. If he just owned up to it then he could just dismiss the haters as being homophobic. By misrepresenting/lying about it, he is going to give the haters a veracity argument that he will have no defense to whatsoever, which is why I call this his Bill Clinton moment. I really don't care what he did then and wouldn't care if he is back doing it now honestly. I don't think of him as a role model and I don't see him trying to be one so we are good. I just think he is entertaining in his eccentricity.
I honestly don't care what he does. To me it seems a bit gay to give a handy j to a friend, but thats me. I couldn't care if he is straight, gay, bi or even tri. My opinion of him doesn't change. I still think he's crazy and dramatic.
CRG has a tendency to put on a facade as if he doesn't know what's going on at all. He's being ironic.
Me? Never! Oh was this the site you wanted to let me borrow your subscription to?

I mean seriously. And if they are not intriguing to you why bother even watching anymore? It reminds me of that other poster whose name escapes me right now that said the same thing about the newer seasons. And I agree with you after the Heather/Mike/Dustin episode that he is overly dramatic. Also, Sean Cody supposedly is another paid-by-subcription pornographic site but they deliberately have sex (sometimes they go around looking for new models as they call it) they just don't always have shows or cameras around 24/7 like FP does or supposedly used to do. I only know of this through Google and ****. I'm innocent so sorry if I came across as a jerk to you.
OK, I was a member of Fratpad for over a year and I will clear up any and all confusion as to what the site is all about while trying to keep it censor friendly. A group of men (mostly straight identifying) live together in a house with cameras in all the rooms. You can watch what happens in specific rooms at any time with no sound. Each frat man does 2 shows a day each 2 hours long. during this show the fratman and any members who wish it are in a chat room. Members can speak to the fratman during his show and he will respond verbally on cam rather than typing to the members. There are usually less than 20 active members in the chat room at any time (by active I mean the ones who are actually conversing with the fratman and the other members) so you do have an opportunity to directly interract with the fratmen on a fairly intimate level. During a show, a fratman will often (but not always) be nude. He will pretty much always at some point during his 2 hour show ********** while still interracting with the members in the chat room (joking around, performing requests, etc). During a show a fratman may also interract with other fratmen on camera (bathing or showering together, giving mutual massages, performing lap dances on each other). For an additional 70 or 80 bucks a pop, you can also access the occasional "Duo Show" which usually happens about once every few months between two fratmen. During a duo, a paying member can enter a special chat room only for those who purchased access to the duo and watch the two fratmen interract sexually. the activities between the two fratmen during a duo is almost exclusevely oral sex and mutual ************.
I didn't form any opinion of him, only that he was dramatic, which was shown on the first or second episode of the show. And I continue to watch, not so much because I find it intriguing and need to see what happens, but because I have been watching the show for years, and it would almost seem wrong not to keep tuning in, if that makes any sense. It's like a person who eats out of boredom. They aren't hungry, but just keep coming back for more, because it gives them something to do and it tastes good. Do I find the show entertaining at times? Sure! Do I think it's extremely intriguing and new? not at all. Do I want to be BFF with everyone on the cast? no. It's a show, I grew up with. I also think I have OCD, so since I've been watching it for years, it has also almost become a habit for me. Hope that makes some sense.

Seriously, is this really still news to anyone?
Right. He was one of the first guys on Fratpad in 2006 and was there for about 4 years (I was only a member for about three months, but I still follow who is on it). They do hang out naked, but also erm.....perform self-love (as it was called on one of the RW Dailies) at some point in every "show" (one show lasts about two hours). They also have "duos" with each other where they assist each other in performing self-love together, and sometimes more. Fratpad has actually deleted Dustin/Spencer's vids now, but they are still available online. Added edit: I've just rewatched what he said about Fratpad and he said that none of the guys are gay. That's not true. Most of the guys are straight, but they have had a few gay ones.
Hahaha, 4 years? What did it take him getting cast on the real world to quit?
Hahaha, 4 years? What did it take him getting cast on the real world to quit?
He left the pad a week before the Super Bowl of 2010 (I Know because the Saints playing was such a big deal for him he was talking about it for weeks before the game and then disappeared right before it) so say February of that year. I don't know how far in advance they cast RW but if I'm right in that they started their stay at the Hard Rock in around September of 2010 then that would be about 7 months before they started shooting. Does this sound about right?
I remember when they did that True Life the guy said he got paid like $5K/day to do gay movies. If the fratpad dudes get that kind of money for less receptive encounters, I got a couple weeks vacation saved up....just sayin--I got bills I would love to get rid of. :censored2:
I remember when they did that True Life ...
What is this now?
What is this now?
True Life is a show on MTV where they follow people for a few weeks to cover some topic of interest they fit into and put the different related stories into 1 episode. A few years ago they did a "I work in the Sex Industry" episode where they followed 2 or 3 people and 1 was a guy who said he was straight but did gay for pay because it paid like $5K a day when he only got paid like $500 a day for straight movies. I don't know his name but he was on Tyra Banks too on the same topic not long after but he did the hard core stuff I think.

It appears that he retired from that industry just after that MTV show and the Tyra interview. I vaguely remember him saying on Tyra that he wanted to go back to college. I hope he has.
This is WHY I love you, Sean. Can I give you a hug?
Yep Yep (and don't forget that for only $30.00 a month you too can join the SeanPad.) :sun_bespectacled:
Dustin and Heather absolutely broke up,per twitter: Dustin:It's Ok to be who You are! that's why they are Them and you are You! #imabeme Heather:@dustinzito you don't know who you are. then on Nany's twitter (I wonder if she was talking about Dustin): You are just an ugly person, inside and out. You know who you are. Actually, you DON'T know who you are. That's what's pathetic. You'll always have to be someone you're not because you're insecure as **** I pity anyone dumb enough to believe you're a good person. #truemother*******story Also Dustin unfollowed Heather then followed her again.

I get the distinct impression that something big went down at the aftershow they filmed a couple weeks back. The apparent exit interviews that have been spliced into the episodes makes me think that their relationship was salvageable and everybody except Mike and Dustin seemed to at least be tolerating each other. Since that taping, however, it really seems like it has been pile-on Dustin time amongst the cast.
He seems very sketchy! Him and Adam both do.
He seems very sketchy! Him and Adam both do.
Perhaps, but in the end, to me the only fundamental difference between getting paid to hook up on Fratpad and getting paid to hook up on the Real World is whose signature is on the paycheck. The varying degrees between what is or is not shown doesn't change the fact of what they are knowingly doing on camera for third-party consumption.

In my opinion there's a huge difference between being a part of something that is essentially pornography and going on a nationally broadcasted television show where hooking up is not necessary (there have been plenty of cast-mates who have completed a season without hooking up with anyone, it was Dustin's choice to be with Heather.)
I agree with beecee. With the real world even though Dustin hooked up with Heather it was not for the cameras, they liked each other, started a relationship and it happened, they have somewhat of a sense of privacy because they can just throw covers on top of them. With Fratpad he had sex with other men just for the money.

It was Heather's choice to hookup with Dustin as well and she did so knowing that the house is full of cameras and camera operators we seldom see as viewers and that it was being filmed for TV. I don't think one can get on their high horse about one while doing the other, and my opinion is the same as to the other cast members as well. In my opinion, what is about to go down is going to be more about homophobia than anything else regardless of what arguments actually get made on TV. Dustin has certainly given them ammunition for these other arguments, but all this "You don't know who you are" crap means they are looking at him in terms of his sexuality. I personally don't believe that one's sexuality defines who someone is as a person unless that person makes it the centerpiece of their identity themselves. They are trying to force that onto him because he has not defined himself that way. I would rather see someone just be honest about their prejudice (which I fully expect Leroy to do BTW) than hide it behind ancillary arguments.

I really wish Dustin was more likable because it'd be harder to hide behind other reasons then.

A dry-wit is sometimes hard to discern. I had a teacher like that once and nobody ever knew when he was or was not serious about the stuff he said.

When Heather tweeted "You don't know who you are" I don't think it had absolutely anything to do with his sexuality, she actually went off on this one dude who was making fun of his past. They were spotted together at an Scottsdale,Arizona shopping mall, then like a week later he is talking on twitter about doing work at the club. I am guessing he does not know if he wants to be in a relationship or a player,I guess she thinks he is sending her mixed signals.

I was thinking more in terms of Heather's tweet and Mike's preview clips.
This is too cute lol YouTube - Zito hangin in the princess pad...
I had heard that when Dustin was going to appear on The Real World, the Fratpad Site has taken down all of their Spencer materials. Presumably at the request of MTV or out of courtesy to Dustin. Well apparently that courtesy is no longer in effect. The Fratpads main page is once again using a very old (several years old) video introduction to the pad starring a very naked Fratman Spencer. They've used about 8 newer intros since this one and I can only surmise that they've gone back to using the current one to cash in on Dustin's MTV fame. I wonder what happened between the time Fratpad took down it's Spencer materials and now to make them do this complete 180. You don't even have to be a paying member now to see Dustin in all his naked glory. This seems like a deliberate act and is a bit sleezy if you ask me.
