She said on the After Show that they were friends and thus have had a prior history of knowing each other. Whether or not a person is proud of something they do depends wholly on them. Asking a rhetorical and loaded question like "do you think a normal girl will be proud of herself for being a *****?" is ignorant because some people take pride in unconventional things. And quite frankly, if the worst thing this girl does is sleep around, then it is not a big deal. Sexual freedom is not simply limited to men. It's that sort of "Do as I say, not as I do" mentality that breeds a lot of hypocritical double standards. Finally by saying something like "Of course you Americans think that sleeping with every guy is normal but I think it is stupid" disqualifies any credibility you have in this particular argument. Being American has nothing to do with it. In fact, many Americans share your thinking. Speaking in generalities shows a general lack of understanding. For my part I have family in Canada, and littered all through Europe who I am in regular contact with, and promiscuity is not something that is limited to America by any means. Come on, I am sure you know better ;) That aside, I secretly hope that Shauvon is the mystery female for this upcoming challenge. Her spectacular failure at these things is oddly endearing.

It isn't as if you can make a living off just doing Challenges unless you win them all. People have families and careers, and may just have gone onto other interests in their lives.

That's it.[/QUOTE] I've slept with "some stranger" (not from MTV) after knowing them for less than 24 hours, and I respect myself. Does that make me stupid? I hardly consider myself or someone a ***** just because they have had a one-night stand, that's quite a judgment to make on someone because of one decision they have made. And once again...that has absolutely nothing to do with intellectual capacity. I know people that have Bachelors degrees, law degrees, even medical degrees who have slept freely with numerous people. Would you consider THEM to be stupid? While I think Mind Riot covered it very well, it's funny that you mention "us Americans" think that sleeping with every guy is normal, while the majority of Europeans are much more free about their sexual exploits and Americans are described as being quite prudish when it comes to sex. Your blatant ignorance to quite a few aspects of American culture (one of which we have covered before) makes you unqualified to even have an intellectual and logical conversation about this particular topic. If you respond to this...I'd be careful with your wording.

I feel honored by obtaining a sufficient answer, even a dozen of you. Pretty funny, how people distribute the values of respect. I do not think you're stupid, but I still think Shauvon is. I'm really sorry of all her fans. But my thought didn't change. Sleeping with stranger, doing Challenge by Challenge just for doing when you fail everytime and the next time think that somebody should respect you for quit.. For me it's stupid. I really would like to see her on some another Challenge in different role, it would be super interesting. Maybe I am still very naive, but every time when here is even 1% chance to see an old, awesome veteran on the new Challenge - I am ready to pray that he would be in the cast, not Shauvon.

Someone cannot and shouldn't de-value ones worth for sleeping with someone. That is ludacris. It doesn't make a person dumb, it makes the person sexual. And that's normal. I myself don't do one night stands (except that one times with molds, which was amazing) but I would never consider myself better, or morally superior, to a person who does.

For those who don't know -- since there are a few literalists here -- she lives in San Diego. While she may not be at the top of anyone's challenge favorites list, either for her drama or physical skills contributions, in real life I've found her to be a very warm and caring person. She and I have a mutual friend who spent a long day in an emergency room in LA a couple of years ago and we became acquainted the in waiting room over the course of about 8 hours. MTV Trivia... Once when Evelyn was living in an apartment complex in San Diego, Shauvon parked in Evelyn's designated stop. JD and Evelyn were also briefly roommates in San Diego, after he moved there from Florida.

Yeah I had a feeling Evelyn and Shauvon were friends since Evelyn would mention going to Shauvon's parties in her blogs. But I never could figure out where the two would have gotten close. Didn't realize they lived in the same town...
