Like always...... i state facts and logic and don't get a good challenge in return.
John Dye from Touched By An Angel died almost a week ago and they are just now reporting it. Talk about being on the D-List. Speaking of Angels, perhaps they should have a spirit based Challenge--they have to spend the night in a haunted house with a Ouija board to get the next piece of the puzzle. Of course, Sarah's mom is supposed to be a pyschic so she may be a ringer. Of course her Mom must not be that good else she would have told Sarah just to stay home on Cutthroat since she came back broke and injured.

Dan Setzler is the messiah of The Challenge. His very absence is the sole cause for the decline in ratings, it all really makes sense if you think about it. Dan Setzler also cured cancer and ended world hunger just last week. If you guys don't think Dan Setzler is the most awesomest guy/challenger/miracle to grace God's earth, then you are in serious need of therapy, and maybe a ban hammer or two. Fact, people, facts! Might I suggest to you all the Holy Book of Dan Setzler? 85 Chicago Bears > Holy Book of Dan Setzler Seriously, nothing beats the Super Bowl shuffle.
85 Chicago Bears > Sarah's mom
Sig from Deadliest Catch reminds me of Jim McMahon a little bit. Deadliest Catch>85 Chicago Bears. Now that would be a Challenge twist: each team is put on a boat and they do nautical challenges. Maybe one week they have a crabbing contest, the next they fire cannons at each other, and the final elimination would be a boarding with real swords. Since it will be the last Challenge, it won't matter who lives, dies, or lives wishing they had died.

Thank you.

Use your common sense. 85 Chicago Bears > MTV Challenges
The 1976 Dallas Cowboys were way better chess players than the 1982 New York Yankees.
Yeah but were the 1977 Cowboys better than the 1992 Cowboys? People do comparisons like this in sports all the time. I'm not participating, but I don't see what's so wrong about it.
That said, if I were to do a Challenge, I would have a no speedo and ice in the same challenge clause in my contract because those were some of the silliest Challenges I have seen yet.
The lack of girls (and guys?) in bikinis is synonymous with the ratings decline. It's been mentioned before that they definitely need to bring back challenges with the cast in hot weather and looking good.
They never been in elimination rounds, but still proved to be top competitors. And what has Dan done that is so special?? On his Road Rules season he rocked during the Lumberjack and Hockey mission(being the best player), and he was named the MVP on the Road Rules All Star team that beat the Down Under cast in the Aussie Rules football game. He outperformed Mike the Miz on the Battle of the Seasons and the BOTS 2, not to mention he made it to the final of the BOTS 2, which was one of the hardest challenges to make it to the end of because there was no score board. If you messed up in one mission, you were out(Abram and Miz got out early and they were better competitors than most of the guys there). That is why he was called the consummate Road Ruler, and the All Star Road Ruler on his bio at the BOTS 2 site on MTV.com. He was the most skilled/complete(as i explained above, he excelled at 3 different sports i have bolded) Road Rules competitor to compete on challenges, which makes him a top 10 all time.
^^^^ I've got PLENTY more.
Why is Tyler on the list? He was terrible in every Challenge he's been on except Cutthroat. No way he should be ahead of Kenny, MJ, Frank, or Johnny.
It took me a while to find where my post was moved to so my bad for the late response. Anyway, imo it wasn't that hard to put Tyler ahead of Johnny. When those two competed against each other, they both had equally ****ty showings - Duel 1 and Gauntlet 3 they both were eliminated early. On cutthroat, i thought johnny was slightly better on team missions than tyler, because he provided strategy most of the time and both are good athletes However, Tyler absolutely blows Johnny out of the water in terms of eliminations. Johnny has a horrible elimination record and Tyler really showed in cutthroat his increased strength/endurance due to being a personal trainer. That's why it easy for me to put Tyler higher than Johnny- Tyler will be able to survive eliminations rounds much better than will Johnny. I think that gulag with CT is a prime example. Kenny is a similar competitor to Johnny, they're both solid on team missions but seem to struggle on eliminations. As far as Frank and MJ, its my opinion that Tyler could now beat them in a majority of eliminations. Whether that comes to fruition I have no ******* idea.
1) Landon Lueck 2) Alton Williams 3) Mark Long 4) Chris Tamburello 5) Darrell Taylor 6) Derrick Kosinski 7) Abram Boise 8) Timmy Beggy 9) Evan Starkman 10) Wes Bergmann 11) Brad Fiorenza 12) Theo Vonkurnatowski 13) Mike Mizanin 14) Kenny Santucci 15) MJ Garrett 16) Frank Roeseller 17) Dan Setzler 18) Johnny Devenanzio 19) Syrus Yarbrough 20) Eric Nies
Solid list, im glad we agree that derrick darrel and abram should be grouped around each other. Only pick I have is i think Evan should be rated higher because he's a big dude, moves fast, is smart, and has a pretty solid record in challenges Another great part of your list is the Miz isn't overrated. I still can't get over how he couldn't climb up a rope in inferno 1
.....The lack of girls (and guys?) in bikinis is synonymous with the ratings decline. It's been mentioned before that they definitely need to bring back challenges with the cast in hot weather and looking good.
Well me in a speedo would not have a positive impact on ratings, but sure, just so there is no ice involved in the same Challenge.
Another great part of your list is the Miz isn't overrated. I still can't get over how he couldn't climb up a rope in inferno 1
He couldn't climb a rope on the Battle of the Seasons and the Gauntlet too. He was a horrible athlete, but made up for it with skill, smarts, and mental strength. However, he was an overrated competitor because of his stature. Theo V, Dan(RR5), Timmy were superior competitors, but didn't get the attention and didn't have the stature that the Miz had. Also, Frank should still be ranked over Tyler, he defeated him and even though Tyler has improved a bit, Frank still can say he beat him, Tyler can't. Tyler won those two elimination rounds because it easily favored him due to his weight.... what else did he show on Cut Throat? If he were to go against Frank or MJ in a physical elimination round, odds are he would lose.

He has only been in shows where no one could get voted off or be eliminated or only had vote offs. He had never been in an elmination round. He is around 5'11 and 170. If you put him against any of the big guys in an elimination round, they would throw him around like a ragdoll. He does well in missions, but so do a lot of people. I think he is a great competitor, but you can't tell his full potential unless he's been in an elimination round. You really think if him and the Miz when at it in a physical game, Dan would win?

Not to mention Dan was too good of a competitor to get thrown in an elimination round, unless he was on a losing team. And do you think the Miz would of beaten LT in a physical elimination round? I doubt that. You have to look at overall ability, not just who's bigger and stronger. Also, Dan was stronger than you think, he wouldn't of gotten thrown around like a "ragdoll". I believe he would of taken Derrick in a physical elimination round.....though it would of been close.
I hate how nobody gives Derrick credit for being the freaking beast he is. Derrick could take on ANYONE and I mean ANYONE in a 1v1 as long as weight doesn't play a huge factor like the games he played with Timmy and Tyler. Did anyone see how bad he made Brandon look in the handcuffs game ? He would've made Tyler, Brad,Dunbar, ect. look just as bad in that game or a game similar to that and not just those guys but a lot of guys on these Challenges. Guys like CT, Alton, Kenny, Wes (with the pole not just one on one wrestling though), and Landon are the only guys on these Challenges that I think could beat Derrick in wrestling/kick *** type games.

Derrick is a beast, but without the technique of getting under his opponent, there are plenty of guys that can beat him in something purely physical. Timmy would have owned Derrick in anyone of those Gauntlets expect for Name that Coconut. He was too strong for Derrick if they went at it in Spot On(the game that Kina and Jillian played)......Derrick would have had a funeral. P.S. Ruthie did WAY better against Beth in the reverse Tug of War, and actually got Beth to fall on her butt. Why couldn't Derrick put that kind of fight up against Timmy?

And I disagree, I like Derrick's chances a lot against Timmy in Name that Coconut, Spot On, and Beach Brawl. But we've already been over this, so let's just agree to disagree.

He did FINE time after time but now he was drained at the one that counted the most? I think the table that Derrick broke apart at the final meeting didn't think he too weak to compete in a Gauntlet....lol.
Spot On? I believe you guys mean Sticky Situation. And why are people questioning him? He beat Adam, Ace, Syrus, and Brad all in one season. I think that says enough about the guy.

You asked why Derrick couldn't put up a better fight vs. Timmy in RTOW like Ruthie did against Beth. There is too many differences... Ruthie faced Beth around mid season maybe even a little bit before and Derrick and Timmy faced each other in the very last elimination round and it was Derrick's fifth Gauntlet compared to Timmy's first... it wasn't like that in the Beth vs. Ruthie match. And you're comparing what two guys did versus each other to what two women did versus each other. Same game, but there are also a lot of differences.
Dan is the Chuck Norris of Challenges.
Chuck Norris can't be compared to no one.... because Chuck Norris is too good for metaphorical literature.
Dan is the Chuck Norris of Challenges.
Don't forget Timmy !!
Spot On? I believe you guys mean Sticky Situation. And why are people questioning him? He beat Adam, Ace, Syrus, and Brad all in one season. I don't think he would've. Timmy and Tyler probably could've been weak punks and they still would've beaten Derrick in the games they played against him due to their weight advantages alone. Johnny, Brad, Eric, Ace, Davis, Danny, Nick Brown, Ty ect. could've beaten Derrick in Reverse Tug of War and Pole Me Over... it doesn't mean they're overall better than him.
His victories against Adam and Brad don't mean anything because it was trivia....all it showed was Derrick watched the shows more than they did, big deal.
I don't see what wrestling a coconut out of someone's hands right before they cross the score line has to do with trivia
