True. It's one of the clinical trials we've done at my work :)
Also, you don't need any extra immunizations to come to Australia... you know we're a "first world" country right? We get the same immunizations here as you do in the US when you're born. You don't need anything more than that. Why do people always think it's such an exotic place???

Funny you said that LOL..
I was in my global development class today and we were talking about how most southern countries are 3rd world. Australia was one of the few exemptions.

Anything with Palm trees, Kaola Bears and Kangaroos is Exotic to a city boy. I know its a first world country.
I guess I just make sure I am up to date with all my shots before I leave the country.
Thank you for letting me know there isn't a vaccine for Malaria.

Also, Koala's aren't bears. :p

I know. They are marsupials. But everyone calls them Koala Bears in NY. I'm not that stupid... I graduated a pretty good university, with high honors!
I know this is off topic for what the discussion is right now, but I was watching Gauntlet III and it brought up what I've been wondering since I watched it...if Evan didn't think he could take Easy, then why didn't he go for Danny instead of Johnny? It seems like A) No one liked him on that team, B) He was probably the weakest male link aside from Easy, and C) Evan could have spanked him in every Gauntlet as he was stronger, faster and smarter. And if they were going based on past performances, Danny was sent home first, and second (on his team, 3rd overall), whereas Johnny went home for something dumb on the Duel and won half the life-shields and went to the final on I3. Was it really just because CT, Brad, and Easy didn't like Johnny?
People liked Danny until he went into the last mission and tried to make a deal. In fact, he probably would've made it to the end. At that point nobody knew what he could do. They were killing it in missions and Johnny was a sure thing to win. Early in these games, Evan is notorious for being paranoid, like the CT duel when he drew it on his hand.

A lot of people really did not like Johnny. He could have picked Danny or even Adam, but because many people didn't like Johnny (including the girls and the Rookies) he picked Johnny.
You have to remember that on G3, all but one of the gauntlets (to my memory at least) gave heavier, physically stronger people a distinct advantage. Danny isn't the most athletic guy walking the face of the earth but he is heavier and physically stronger than Johnny. Johnny also had an ankle that was in pretty rough shape on that challenge and he was just more of a guaranteed win for Evan than Danny was.
I also don't think it would've been wise to throw Adam in for elimination at that point in the game either... at any time in the game really. If I could pick a dream team of people to have on my team for a challenge, Adam would definitely be on it. Might not be the biggest or the strongest, but those two attributes only really come into play in head-to-head elimination rounds. The dude is fast, quick, agile as ****, and can think on the fly while keeping his cool. He's not a player that is going to ever be a liability to lose your team a challenge because he can't do something fast or because he can't climb something or whatever. He's going to pull his own weight in everything, so why get rid of an asset like that?
Okay everyone... What is in your opinion the top 5 challenge seasons of all time?

1.Battle of The Seasons
2.Gauntlet 2
3.Battle of the Sexes
4.The Duel
5.Cut Throat
Honorable mentions: The Inferno 1 and 2, The Duel, The Gauntlet 1, Battle of the Sexes 2.

1) The Inferno
2) The Inferno 2
3) The Duel
4) Battle Of The Seasons
5) The Gauntlet 2
The Duel 2 was VERY close, but I just can't because of how predictable 90% of it was. Plus, the fact that it was The Evan Show didn't help...
1. Inferno II
2. Gauntlet II
3. Ruins
4. Duel II (mainly because of Mark, but I also loved Isaac, Landon, and even Evan this season)
5. Battle of the Sexes
I really loved all of the Infernos and Gauntlets (except G3, because I'm so bitter that the Rookies "won" after getting stomped all season) but I2 and G2 were my favorites of each sequence.
1. BOTSexes
2. Battle of the Seasons
3. Inferno II
4. Inferno I
5. The Gauntlet
I also enjoyed the The Duel I and The Ruins, but not nearly as much as the classics.
"Maybe you will talk now"
"It's still floating Tonya, get it to sink"
hahaha
1) Inferno - The best cast ever.
2) Battle of the Seasons - Coral and Mike <3 The final outcome was great!
3) BOTS 2 - Another great cast and the challenges were pretty awesome. Also, Coral and Abram were just <3
4) The Duel - Wes wins and Svetlana makes the final :D Also, this was probably the best cast since Inferno.
5) Cutthroat - A bunch of newbies, unpredictable up until the final episode.
If Wes or someone other than JEK won The Ruins challenge then that'd probably knock out Cutthroat for 5th place, also if the real vets had more of an impact on this challenge it would've been better. But Wes was just awesome.
1)Gauntlet 1-Good casts, great location, lots of cool missions, great drama/storylines, best final mission, Coral losing it for the Real World.
2)2000 Challenge-Great Casts, great moments, the whole Los drama with Piggy and Veronica, good missions.
3)Battle of the Seasons-Best location, great cast, good drama, Chadwick, Belou.
4)The Inferno-Great location, great drama, Timmy, Holly, Christena, Mallory, Road Rules dominates.
5)The Real World/Road Rules Challenge-Original, Good cast, Noah, Neil, Kalle, Jason.
Post Gauntlet Challenges:
1. Gauntlet 2 - Great cast. Updated format. Nice storyline. Great missions and eliminations rounds.
2. The Inferno - Also a good cast. A Fun Factor. Leftover Real World drama. Good missions (yet not so fun to watch eliminations. Creative though.)
3. The Duel - Good cast. Unpredictable. Male rookie winner, rookie female finalist.
4. Cutthroat - Unpredictable. Nice rookie cast. A few major upsets. 3 First time winners.
5. N/A
BOTS I & II were good seasons with wonderful casts, but with the men dominating and winning the whole thing makes it less fun to watch.
Duel II and The Ruins both had a great cast but the outcomes were predicable and boring.
I'm always terrible with ranking the best challenges. All of them before Gauntlet 2 were amazing challenges! I guess right now this is how my rankings would look:
1) The Gauntlet- The challenge that got me into the show in the first place.
2) The Inferno- Sometimes a little too dramatic, but overall an amazing piece of reality TV.
3) Battle of the Sexes- I'm always tempted to rank this first. It was just pure awesomeness.
4) Battle of the Seasons- It seemed like everyone on this challenge was having a good time and that makes it more enjoyable to watch.
5) Challenge of 2000- Great stuff.
Basically interchangeable between those five... Oh and Inferno 2!
Before FM all the challenges were classic they had great casts and were fun to watch. You see a major shift, especially starting from The Inferno III.
I think a huge factor that differenciates the older challenges from the newer ones, is the fun times they had back in the day. Now they seem miserable.
Also, in the older ones, more people were willing to do it. For me, the challenge isn't purely based on stregnth or manipulation, but having fun.
