Road Rules (Generic Thread)

I know what you're referring to, that was in the first episode; she said "I got the name Piggy" because her father saw her "pink and screaming" and thought she looked like a "pig, or a little piglet". She didn't say nickname. I certainly don't remember anything about it being a nickname.. I would've known if it was and the Road Rules Journals book would've said so too.

I know I heard somewhere it was a nickname...I'll see if I can find something about it...But if her father really named her that, why would you name your child Piggy?! Maybe that's why; it's really hard to believe someone would ACTUALLY name their child that...xP

Ok. Well, when you find something out come back and let me know, I'd love to hear it. It's hard to believe some of the names other parents give their children. I don't think Piggy is nearly half as bad as some of the other ones I've heard.

It's a [I]fan[/I]site, so it's not accurate. It's like trusting a wikipedia page.

Regardless if its her nickname or real name, she apparently doesn't mind it cause thats the name she chose to be referred to on the shows ala Evan choosing Evan over his real name, or CT using his initials instead of Chris.

I have heard of much worse--someone told me about someone they went to school with whose name was spelled like the slang word for a certain body orifice but they pronounced it something like "A-shollie"

This is a really random question, but I am really impressed with the user’s knowledge of RW/RR here so maybe one of you will be able to answer my question. The first episode or RR that I saw (that got me hooked on RR and later RW) was one where the cast was helping a local police office direct traffic for some event. I do not think that season has them vote anyone off, but that was the first season I started watching and I actually watched every episode from that point on. Anyone have any clue what season that was?

That was a really good episode, especially later on when they were discussing Mark's ***** size and started dancing to the Hip Hop song "This is how you do it" in the RV. Man I MISS Road Rules!!!

Hhaha I dont remember that episode but is it safe to assume that he was a proud member of the Well Endowed Club? Along with Brad, Alton, Adam and David from Seattle?

Was it Road Rules season 1 where they actually shoplifted from a store?? I know it was one of the VERY earlier seasons. I remember MTV put up a disclaimer and everything about shoplifting when it aired.

I think you're talking about season 1 where they snuck into the hotel and stayed without paying money(which was very funny by the way) and MTV put up the disclaimer up along with the Road Rules logo saying "don't try this at home".

That's exactly what I was talking about!! Haha, it's been SO long!! I know MTV never will because it's been sold into syndication or whatever but I really do wish they'd reair some old Road Rules. I remember around the time when the Chicago season of the Real World was airing a local channel used to air past seasons of Road Rules and the challenges in two hour blocks on Saturdays and Sundays. I miss those. I actually taped them back in the day but the VHS quality is so ****** it's not even worth trying to watch. :(

I don't know if I would call someone Tiny Tim if I thought they were "packing". I remember watching the mission with them at the nudist camp and had to like make sure I had my hand on the remote ready to change it in case my parents walked in! Lol!

It's funny to see after all these "decades" Mark's personality and his look didn't change much. Why did this cast make living on an RV look so fun.

Also, if you download Internet Explorer 9, they give you instructions for a month trial. You need Windows Vista or 7 though.

Neither of those apply to me. Oh well. :P

can they please bring this show back? X-treme was a great season, I didn't care for viewer's revenge, but liked some of the new cast members we got out of it. I know we'll never see it again, but was it ever officially canceled, I know for a while they just said it was on a long hiatus.
