That brings up an interesting question. Does CT and Tina have their own barrels to knock over, or is their job just to be weights, preventing the opponents from going anywhere but themselves not having a real aim/ barrel to knock over.
Either Tina wasn't trying or she just couldn't pull Theresa. From what I saw Tina was just acting as the weight trying to hold her back.
If they knew they were gonna be doing the backup off me gulag they should've brought back Beth. Beth would beat Tori and Theresa in that gulag.
Beth was pregnant at the time of the challenge shoot in Prague, so she would not have been there. Further, Beth and Tori are also friends --since it was Beth who first introduced Brad and Tori and encouraged their relationship -- so Beth would probably have intentionally lost to Tori. I think you also underestimate Tori. Both Evelyn and Beth say she is about the toughest woman either ever encountered on a challenge.

On RR she kicked *** because she wanted to be there. In the next episode, we see Tori debating on weather or not she even wants to still be there. Much like on the duel 2.
Tina has not been doing challenges for years now also she lost weight. I wonder how well she would perform if she actually went on another challenge.
But great job Reyyy. I found the whole Brad/Tori situation very interesting. I can't help but feel that maybe the way the red team is playing (mainly Brad) is getting to her, despite her running excuse. Maybe not, but that's just how I feel.
Putting two and two together from the reunion, it sounds like Tori thought she would have to throw the gulag because she had to go home for work. But she couldn't say that, obviously, so she needed another reason why she might purposely lose. Because, honestly, even if she couldn't run, Brad could carry her if it meant an extra few tens of thousand of dollars. But then it seems that she found out she could stay after all, and won't throw the gulag. Just speculation, but it would fit.
The way I saw it. Either resist CT/Tina knocking their barrel down the longest or knock yours down the fastest. Tina couldn't necessarily "beat" Theresa whereas CT beat Johnny just fine.
I don't get why people are so shocked that Theresa knocked down her barrel. I mean clearly Theresa is bigger than Tina in height and maybe weight. Tina lost weight and is also short so this type of elimination is not at her advantage. Putting up a fight for 14 min though is pretty impressive in my opinion. Also I don't like Theresa but she also put up a fight against Jenn in the obstacle course mission on Fresh Meat 2. Jenn is similar to Tina in size so it makes sense. I can't say much more until I actually see the episode.
I really enjoyed the episode. It was great to see CT and Tina.
I honestly feel bad for Paula losing challenge after challenge, but I still cant help but laugh at the idea of her feeling entitled to a win this time because she always get screwed over by her 'friends'. Tori took her turn in this next gulag, one can only hope Paula steps up and straight up volunteers herself as well and proves she deserves to be in the final. Just sucks for anyone, like Derrik losing the last gulag before the FINAL challenge
This is not the place to discuss past Challenges or cast members past performances. I know you all miss seeing Mr. Beautiful but he isn't even on this Challenge.
I really enjoyed the episode. It was great to see CT and Tina.
When did they air the episode?
When did they air the episode?
They didn't yet, but it was available for purchase on itunes. Someone did a really good recap a couple pages back tho. I think I'm beginning to believe Laurel that Cara Maria isn't that great of a competitor. Honestly, I think she needs to prove herself a lot more. I haven't seen or heard of anything spectacular from her yet.
Cara isn't, Laurel is just another Jenn.
I would actually put Laurel above Jenn. Jenn is maybe a little more than an average competitor, but Laurel killed almost every challenge (except 1 or 2) and hearing of her carrying Abram on her back and helping her team so much in the final makes me have more respect for her as a competitor. She isn't merely big-mouthed, she can back it up with actions. I don't think Cara is horrible, but watching her struggle so much against Mandi, as well as Laurel and Sarah explaining that they need to pair her up with someone strong every challenge and fit her in for her to do well makes me believe she isn't all that great. I think so far, she's average. In fact, Emily is above her right now. Personality-wise, she seems sweet and soft, but she's far from being a tough competitor and a force to be reckoned with.

They basically talk as if she's a Casey/Brooke/Shauvon type girl.
She isn't spectacular but she isn't horrible especially as horrible as Laurel and Sarah make her out to be. They basically talk as if she's a Casey/Brooke/Shauvon type girl.
Well I did say in the post above that I don't think she's horrible either, but I can also see where they're coming from. It's like JEKD's "Trim the fat." I don't think she's horrible, but the question I guess they have is if she can not only survive, but help the team in some way in the final. Thinking as a person and outsider, I might think they should just let her stay because she isn't bad, and may not hold them back in a final, and she can get some money. But thinking as a Cutthroat competitor, if she cannot bring anything to HELP the team win in a final, she's just taking some of your money. And that's how I think Sarah and Laurel see it. She's ok, but not great enough to contribute some winning quality to the team in the final. Of course, it will be interesting to see that the 2 people (who never went into a gulag and who the team thought were the strongest) collapse in the final.

Also its like her first real challenge because she went home first on FM2 so, the main reason why she performs mediocre to some is due to inexperience, Laurel however has completed a challenge so its lame to compare the two. In my opinion Cutthroat is a good challenge but doesn't live up to it's name.

So I would count it out because it's based on opinion, and she was paired with arguably the strongest guy there. I don't think it's lame to compare because of 2 reasons: 1) It's both Laurel and Cara's second challenge and 2) It's Emily's first challenge and I think she proved more than Cara did, she's been doing really good on the missions thus far. As I said, I do not think Cara is the worst competitor or anything, but I wouldn't say she's good (this is my opinion only), I would merely say she's just an ok competitor. EDIT: I also totally agree with you. This challenge is good, but it doesn't not live up to it's name IMO.
Cara did not stand out because she has 2 other "good" girls on her team.
I think red team did a decent job at living up to the cutthroat name.
I think the game would have been more Cutthroat if the Gulag was drawn randomly until they went to the elimination so everyone who lost would still be on edge lol. Or two people same gender on each team would eliminate their own team member while the other team is doing the same, that's my opinion but it would have been a great season twist.
Cara did not stand out because she has 2 other "good" girls on her team.
Exactly. Sarah is pretty much the mastermind behind the grey team and is the most experienced female on the team, which isn't saying much. And Laurel was looked at as this huge beast (in a good way) after FM2 so it's obviously Cara Maria would be looked at as the weakest. But even Abe said it himself, the fact that Cara Maria is cute and more fun swayed his decision to put Laurel in. I personally think Cara Maria is a decent competitor, not great, not bad. I think she'd be able to hold her own in an individual challenge but will she be looked at as a "I don't want to face her" kind of threat? I don't think so. I'm very interested to see how she handles the final and what her role is. Every other member of the team has seen a final besides Luke so it'll be interesting to see how they go into it.
According to Derrick's podcast Ayiiia and Melinda hooked up. CT and Tina, got the best intro ever. I find it funny how in the middle of the episode, Derrick says he had a dream that he lost to Tyler. I bet that was an edit from after this episode, and they put it in this one for ****s and giggles. Tori's face though, priceless.
What episode are you speaking of and where did you see this amazing intro of CT and Tina?
The one that's supposed to be on this Wednesday, is on itunes. Disregard what I said about Derrick and the edit. He was talking to Theresa, so his dreams really came true lol

I mean other than Ryan and Davis there hasn't been any guy-on-guy action on these challenges but there have been an *** load of ************ stuff on here.
I have a question on the Back Up off Me Gulag + Heavy Hitters situation. Suppose if Tina knocked her barrel down would that DQ her opponent? Or if both somehow lost would it come down to time or put Theresa vs. Tori? Just wondering although we know the outcome.

Theresa just takes a longer time getting to the barrel than Tori did. And I suppose CT dragged Johnny around for awhile making him look like a complete fool, then when he was done having fun with him he dragged him over to the barrel himself and threw him into it. Then Tyler gets to the barrel faster than Johnny, obviously, but apparantely Tyler didn't wanna quit so he kept fighting CT even after he won. At least, that's how I see it all happening.
