You don't think Derrick called them lollipops because they are gay do you ?? I mean he did defend Tyler when Kenny and Mark were just completely thrashing Tyler on this same type of subject and they both said things way worse than "lollipop."
It was really just Mark who thrashed on him. Kenny said for his girl pick he wanted to pick Tyler, and Derrick "said drag queens don't count". Then Mark said some not very nice stuff.
Derrick defended his athletic ability, but still made a gay remark.
I agree. The missions and Gulags have been pretty fair and interesting so far. I really had high hopes for The Ruins looking at the cast, but I was pretty disappointed that that whole season fell victim to JEK. The Duel 2 had a very good cast but The Alliance, that **** "list" and the deliberations took away the randomness and intensity that the first Duel possessed. (Fresh Meat II sucked besides interesting rookies like Noor, Pete, Brandon and Cara Maria. But I still enjoyed the season and the winner.)
So Cutthroat takes the cake for best recent challenge. I love how it's filled with rookies but at the same time I wish they're weren't sooooo many Fresh Meat kids. They could've grabbed interesting players like Derek (Viewer's Revenge), Janelle (Key West), Nehemiah (Austin), Brittani (Hollywood), Kelly Anne (Sydney). Idk if they aren't trying hard enough when it comes to casting or they just can't get ahold of the people they truly want to get on.
I think it's a mixture of both.
Can you tell me why you didn't like Fresh Meat 2?

Oh yeah, Derrick did say that about Tyler. So basically Derrick, Kenny, and Mark (if he's on it again ) need to watch what the **** they're saying. Because even though I don't like Tyler, that whole thing that went on with Kenny, Derrick, and Mark was really really harsh and Kenny saying he wanted to pick Tyler as a girl is just as bad. And really what they say about everybody.... have you heard what they've said about Shauvon ??

I've heard it, and usually I laugh. I think Kenny is hilarious normally, but he crosses the line sometimes. At the same time just like I think he plays up the ********* stuff on tv, they don't have him on the podcast to be nice and complimentary to everyone. He defends the people that he likes (Johnny, Brandon), but he has to poke at some people. But yes, he's definitely said some bad stuff. I also don't think what he and Derrick said about Tyler was anywhere near in the ballpark of what Mark said. That **** was messed up.
I think it's a mixture of both.

It was a decent season but compared to others it was a fail. The Fresh Meat were horrible except for the ones I named already. And they whole Kenny vs Wes thing really sunk the whole ship. It was interesting at first but then I start to think, "Why are all these vets just picking from the two sides instead of just throwing those clowns against each other." The challenges were pretty lame except for a handful and Kenny winning 70% of them didn't help either (while that's no fault from BMP).
Plus exiles are a pretty lame elimination round.

I think you hit the nail on the head there and I think that goes for everyone that's on these podcasts as well.
Does anybody else remember the "First to last Road Ruler" bandana exchange between Mark and Derrick? I wonder if Derrick still has that lol. Maybe he should hand it off to Dan...or Tori haha.
Agreed. Jenn is hotter for one as is Cara Maria and Tori and I'm sure there are some more. But for me, Jenn > all.
I agree about Jenn, definitely at the top of my list of most attractive females. I love Cara Maria's face and eyes as well.
In my opinion Cut Throat has been the best/most entertaining challenge to air since the first Duel.
I mean even if the complaints about the casting hold up (that's up the personal taste) the challenges and elimination rounds have been very entertaining to me thus far. If the season continues at this pace I'd definitely consider it the best challenge in recent memory, and a good one overall.
I agree, Cut Throat is doing very well on my personal scale. Cast is really good, I like the three team format, and the Gulag's hav ebeen, for the most part, good as well.
As far as the cast goes for Cut Throat, I think all the girls were good choices (yes even Shauvon, I liked her this time around) but if I could've replaced some of the guy they'd be Chet, Ty, Tyler, and Vinny and try to get maybe Noor, Pete, Cohutta, and Derek (VR).

I agree, I hate Exiles. But as far as the new meat goes compared to the first season, I'd say:
FM- Diem, Kenny, Evan, and Evelyn plus Aviv
are the only "worthy" ones.
FM2 I don't think there's anybody who I didn't like and wouldn't want to see back, except for Jeff and possibly Vinny.

Agreed. Kenny is phony and I'm starting to think his dislike for people is purely for TV. On the podcast with Bananas he was talking about how he disliked or hated Wes but he recently did a 7eleven commercial with Wes. Why would you do a video or anything with someone you're not fond of? Just look up Mark Long's NakidReality on YouTube and you'll see what I mean.

Oh I wasn't calling Kenny a phony at all, I'm one of the first to defend the guy. I think Kenny's a good guy. I don't think emphasizing personality traits that you have to make good television is phony. It would be phony if in real life he was a timid self loathing guy, who put on a totally different persona for the camera, which he isn't. And yes, if I were being paid to do a commercial in which I get to call someone I don't like an idiot on national tv, I would do it in a heartbeat.
You want fake? Look at Wes who pretends to be a genius and then struggles to use words that are more than three syllables correctly. I would've loved to see him do that spelling bee challenge on the Duel 2.

Bad acting, real personalities haha.

Derrick is the last Road Rules top competitor(when you go by seasons), yes we've got new Roadies added with Viewer's Revenge but neither Dan or Derek are top competitors, and Tori is a female. Derek had potential, but didn't appear to be interesting in being an athlete anymore due to his terrible shape on the Duel 2.

While I do agree with you on those points, it was just the exchange that was funny. Mark was the first Road Ruler and he gave it to Derrick when he was still the last one, now he's not the last Roadie anymore despite how good the ones are after him.
It's probably just best for neither of them to bring it up, that's even if Derrick kept it.

Mark clearly categorized a "Road Ruler" as a great competitor(from Road Rules of course). Why else would he call himself the "first Road Ruler"? He had other castmembers on his season aswell(obviously). What he was saying is, he is the first great Road Rules competitor because he is from the first season. Derrick, at that point, was on the last season and was a great competitor so he was consider the last Road Ruler. Again, even with Dan and Derek added, neither are great competitors so Derrick is still the "last Road Ruler"(again, "Road Ruler", as in top competitor).

I think you're looking way too into it. I doubt it was because he considered himself to be the best. And since you love facts so much, fact: Mark was the first Road Ruler from his season to do a Challenge (and the only one to do multiple challenges). So that is probably why he considered himself "the first Road Ruler".
I think you're looking way too into it. I doubt it was because he considered himself to be the best
Yet again, you guys continue to misinterpret what I say....... i never said he considered himself the best, i said he is the "first Road Ruler" because he is(by seasons) the first great Road Rules competitor. No other great Road Rules competitor came before him because (obviously) he's from the first season.
It's quite simple.....and another example is Timmy being the "second Road Ruler" because he is the next great Road Rules competitor after Mark being that he is from season 2. After Timmy, there comes Dan(RR5), then Theo, then Darrell, then Abram, and last Derrick. Those are the top Road Rules competitors in order by seasons.
And since you love facts so much, fact: Mark was the first Road Ruler from his season to do a Challenge (and the only one to do multiple challenges). So that is probably why he considered himself "the first Road Ruler".
Nope, that is incorrect. Like I said, he was referring to being a great competitor. After Derrick's great performance on the Guantlet 2, Mark deciding to hand him the bandana because Derrick proved to be a great competitor. "From the first Road Ruler, to the last Road Ruler".
Nope, that is incorrect. Like I said, he was referring to being a great competitor. After Derrick's great performance on the Guantlet 2, Mark deciding to hand him the flag because he proved to be a great competitor.

Your facts are incorrect, so so so incorrect. It was a bandana, not a flag, that Mark gave to Derrick. You could not be more incorrect, sir. Very incorrect.

Sorry, but they call it flag from where i come from, but yes it was a bandana.

That sentence essentially says (at least in my opinion) "Mark considered himself to be the best of his season".
It's quite simple.....and another example is Timmy being the "second Road Ruler" because he is the next great Road Rules competitor after Mark being that he is from season 2. I'll tell you what is simple though. You are not Mark Long, nor are you a competitor of the Challenge series. You have done nothing but overanalyze a television edit. Please, prove me wrong. I beg you.
Again: You are not Mark Long. You are not Derrick Kosinski. You were not there. Therefore, you have no idea what the exchange was between the two.
Well I'm pretty sure Mark just gave Derrick the bandana because Mark felt bad for Derrick after he got blasted into oblivion (drug across the beach like a ragdoll) by Timmy, that's my guess.
That sentence essentially says (at least in my opinion) "Mark considered himself to be the best of his season".
Yeah, but I thought you were saying Mark considered himself to be the best Road Rules competitor in general.

It's common sense, and I wish we can ask Mark about this, and i am positive he would say i'm right.

I never said that was wrong.

Haha.....but no.
I never said that was wrong.
Then you shouldn't have ever said "Nope, that is incorrect" when you quoted the part where I said it was a fact that Mark was the first Road Ruler to participate in a challenge.
You say you keep having problems with people misinterpreting what you say. I wonder why.

I was saying your belief above^^ as to why Mark stated himself the first Road Ruler was incorrect, not the fact of him being the first from his season to be on a challenge and etc.....again, you are misinterpreting what i say.
The fact of the matter is, when you use common sense, Mark was referring to being a great competitor, and since he was from the first season, and was a great competitor(he performed well on all his challenges and was ranked number 1 on the BOTS 1), he was "the first Road Ruler". And since Derrick performed well on the BOTS 2, and the Inferno 2, then having really broke out on the Gauntlet 2, he became a great competitor which made him the "last Road Ruler", being that he was a great competitor from(at that point) the last season of Road Rules. Again, it's quite simple, how can you not get it?
The fact of the matter is when you use common sense, Mark was referring to being a great competitor, and since he was from the first season, and was a great competitor(he performed well on all his challenges and was ranked number 1 on the BOTS 1), he was "the first Road Ruler". Man, I don't know. I guess it's because I haven't wasted my time analyzing every single second of every single challenge to come up with an opinion.
I'll wait for Mark Long to come on here and offer his facts on why he gave Derrick the bandana. Thanks though.

The man gave Derrick a bandana. How does that have ANYTHING to do with Mark's self-esteem? Seriously? I don't see what's so common-sensical about any of this argument.

ummmm....since he handed him a bandana, as a way of passing the torch.....does that put Mark in a position of power? Yes it does! It's like Michael Jordan handed over a basketball to Kobe after retiring and saying "from an old great, to the new one". Mark did have good self-esteem about himself as a competitor because he was great, in case you haven't noticed. You should look at all the challenges he's been on.

You seem to be the one misinterpreting posts, now. I never stated Mark doesn't or shouldn't feel good about himself as a competitor. I said his giving Derrick a bandana isn't a clear indication of how Mark sees himself as a competitor. That's it. Nothing else. No one is arguing about how great Mark is. I'm sure Mark likes himself very much. As soon as someone mentions the word "bandana", the entire board lights up in yet another long-winded argument about who is the best competitor EVAR. How on earth does that even happen? I can't even fathom the answer. Its tiring, its annoying, everyone on this board has had enough of it. I guess what I'm trying to say is...
No one cares who is the best competitor.
And bringing up that argument in a thread, in response to a completely unrelated post, is off-topic. I suggest not doing that in the near future.
