Maybe it was that, but they definitely don't finish. I will lol so hard if it's Luke especially if it's true that Abram basically saved him from going against Derrick.
That would be funny. But i think molds said its between Sarah, Abram, and Laurel that dont finish.
So if Brad wins so does Dunbar and Tyler?..aw ****. Bittersweet for me lol
To his credit Dunbar did break his futility record in elimination rounds over Dan who doesn't seem that weak. If that foursome wins I'll be pretty happy about it.
Lol poor Paula but her constant failing on this show is becoming one of the funniest things in challenge history. They should all just play dead and let her win one..
That would be funny. But i think molds said its between Sarah, Abram, and Laurel that dont finish.
Maybe Abram got a little banged up when he went against Derrick, if it was something physical. He defeated Derrick sure, but it doesn't mean Derrick didn't injure him or Abram injured himself. That could be a possibilty if it's Abram that has to quit due to an injury, if in fact it's an injury and not just Big EZ syndrome by someone else.
That would be funny. But i think molds said its between Sarah, Abram, and Laurel that dont finish.
Smart money says Laurel doesn't finish. how do we know that Gray finishes also especially with the anchor weigh Jenn on their team. I commend Abe for wanting to go in. I actually thought that he was voted in over Luke because of Luke's Fresh Meat 2 ties; Abram is very strategic and has the brawn to back it up. As for the applause for the teams getting money at the end; from my estimate 5 people splitting $60K or $70K isn't going sit well with someone like Abram. The previews says 1 winner, which to me mean that for the Final Challenge, only one team got the Final challenge prize amount. Also, Derricks' physical skills imo have diminished a bit since linking with JEK, but I still think he's a better physical competitor than most including all the males on this challenge with the exception of Abram. This is the best possible male gulag this season could have offered other than Abram going up against CT instead of Tyler (if Red wins instead of Gray). I would have wished for a Tori vs Laurel gulag also ........... but something tells me that this season most of the gulags will be quite competitive & entertaining regardless
It's pretty cool that even after he'd been defeated by Abram, Derrick still had nothing but good things to say about Abram in his podcast. Derrick is still cool as **** and one of the best in my book.
Emily and Jenn? Deja Vu much? Sarah and Kelly Anne on The Ruins...
Lol poor Paula but her constant failing on this show is becoming one of the funniest things in challenge history. Aneesa has lost 6. Why is it more pathetic for Paula to lose all these challenges than all these other players? especially when the majority of you think she is a weak competitor?

But Paula hasn't won ANY and it's cuz Robin spaced out her challenges I think and Beth also, but Paula does challenges real close together and takes it harshly. I wanna see her reaction losing before the final.
Interesting to see The Challenge Cutthroat get mentioned in TVGuide's Hot List for the night: Tonight's TV Hot List: Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010 - Today's News: Our Take | TVGuide.com

I'm guessing a $20k reward each mission and a $300k final challenge? If it's for the final challenge alone, that's insane.
I'm very curious as to how the eliminations are actually picked. Tonight's we have the arms-cuffed one between Derek-Brandon and Emilee-Camila, definitely should be good. I think a big thing tonight, at least to me, will be everything involving Camila. How will the cast react to her? Who will be her quickest friend? How will Tori respond to her being voted in (after consoling her in the daily). I'm excited.

Kind of similar to Pole Wrestle from the original Duel. First to 5 wins.

Am i right in thinking this?

How will Tori respond to her being voted in (after consoling her in the daily). I'm excited.
I am also curious of the eliminations, but moreso of the content of the types of eliminations. I hope there is a derivative of "pole wrestle" and "push me" in these gulags. I did hear someone mention there was a gulag which required something like a tug of war style battle. Tori made a profound statement to Camila, but when push comes to shove, usually the first set of eliminations are the typical "rookie initiation" explanation which the vets typically use to get the rookies to go I can see it now Brandon's first gulag ..... "We'll your a rookie, and you need to prove yourself to the team: Brandon's secong gulag.... "We'll it's your first challenge, and we'''llllll, you still haven't quite proved yourself yet" Brandon's third gulag...... "We've been through 6 or 7 past challenges and most of us till haven't won, this is your first challenge. You're time will come and you're much younger. You'll be around for plenty of these. This is our last one. You understand, don't you" Brandon's 4th gulag........ "It's either you or me, and it's not going to be me, sorry, and good luck pal" Brandon's exit ................. "We're really going to miss you" .... then there will be a confessional with Brad, Tyler, and Dunbar sobing and praising him for his efforts. Then weeks later on the spit they should have shown or in one of the dallies, ****, who do we send in next ...... uh, lets pull straws"
They aren't arm cuffs. They are attempting to get rings out of each others hands. Kind of similar to Pole Wrestle from the original Duel. First to 5 wins.
Is that what they are playing in the Derrick Klobioninskie vs Abram Boise Gulag ?
Is that what they are playing in the Derrick Klobioninskie vs Abram Boise Gulag ?
No.
Is that what they are playing in the Derrick Klobioninskie vs Abram Boise Gulag ?
You really butchered the last name there...lol Getting rings out of each others hands...thats, interested. Not really what I was expecting but oh well, should still be good.
Molds you said you know of at least 6 of the gulags. From what i seen and from a gut feeling it seems like some of these are more physical and intense than other seasons. Am i right in thinking this?
Umm...I'm not really sure. The rings one seems pretty intense (and is the most often played, if I'm not mistaken) as does the back-to-back elimination. Puzzles are never really intense, but I heard one of the results is very close. Also heard good things about the Derrick-Abram and Ty-Brandon battles.
Maybe these good battles in the elimination rounds might bring the ratings up ?? Highly doubtful but hey I'm very optimistic. I mean, who doesn't want to see Derrick vs. Abram ?? Unless of course it's a complete thrashing, which it probably will be because Derrick is considered to be a weakling by our resident expert.
I think the promotion that has gone to this Challenge, via ads, twitter, the espn thing tj did, and everything else compared to FM2 might help the ratings more than the eliminations...we will probably know once the ratings for tonight are in.

It is against the South Park premiere though
So Derrick loses to Abram for sure? Or is there still possibility that Derrick wins. How many viewers you guys think Cutthroat premiere will get?
So Derrick loses to Abram for sure? Or is there still possibility that Derrick wins.
Seriously?
Seriously?
So Abram beats Derrick for sure?
So Abram beats Derrick for sure?
Seriously? Also: re-asking the same question ("How many viewers you guys think Cutthroat premiere will get?") over and over doesn't help. People aren't answering for a reason. They don't care.
