Is anyone surprised that Derrick gets voted in before Johnny to go up against Brandon. It worked out in Derrick's favor anyway becuase if Johnny faced Brandon Derrick would of had to face CT
Who knows how that went down though. Maybe Derrick volunteered to go in?
CT vs Derrick would've been epic.
In that Gulag? No chance. CT would've beat Derrick a lot easier than he did Johnny. Actually, if it was Derrick and Tyler he had to go against, I think he would let Derrick stay.
Yeah I'm actually kinda of annoyed about the CT elimination. If Tyler beats Johnny I'm fine with that, but if CT makes it so Tyler wins, then it's bull****.

I don't think it's anymore bull than when friends go up against each other and one decides not to fight and let the other stay. If you were brought in as part of an elimination and found yourself going up against someone you don't like and someone you do wouldn't you put a little more effort in to make sure your friend stayed and the person you dislike got sent home? I know I would.
CT and Tina were planned for an elimination way before production found out who were going to be voted in that night. It's not like they heard who was going in then thought "Hey! You know how CT and Johnny don't exactly get along? I bet if we could fly him over to Prague in the next 30 minutes for the Gulag he would make Johnny look pretty dumb! It could be some great tv! Let's just throw Tina in there too just for kicks!" They just lucked out that a person voted in happened to not have such a nice history with CT. I don't think they are exactly going to sit there either and tell CT and Tina to play nice just so some viewers think the elimination was more "fair".

THANK YOU !! lol, I agree 100 %. They really screwed over the Blue Team big time in this Challenge.
CT vs Derrick would've been epic.
In most circumstances I would agree. But in this particular elimination it looks like Derrick wouldn't have lasted very long from what I've seen on TV. Do I think he would've lasted longer than Tyler, it depends.
CT vs Derrick would've been epic.
If it was the same elimination, Derrick would have had to carry CT on his back as he's at least a good 6 inches shorter than him.
Not epic. This isn't the Trojan war.
Nothing about these games is completely fair. The only thing I can think of is that Johnny's always taken a hard stance against CT and neither ever tried to bury the hatchet, so yeah CT's gonna do what Johnny would do to him in that situation and screw him out of some money. I'm not saying I know that he goes easy against Tyler, he still very well could give it his all on both, but I'm justifying it if he does though. It'll be pretty notable that Tyler will have been responsible for sending home Johnny twice in a way, or that CT will have a now played a pretty big role in all of Johnny's eliminations.

I agree with this. Plus its not like Johnny has ever been a fan of "playing fair" in any case.
I think it's pretty obvious that CT did go easier on Tyler than Johhny. Not only the history, but there was a clip with CT on Tylers back. Tyler was on the ground crawling while CT was on his back. There's no way in **** that Tyler would have ever gotten into that position without CT allowing him.
It's at the end of episode one, the prototypical "this season on the challenge..." trailer that they always post after the first episode.
edit: Should add you don't really see him dominate that much. You just see him flare his nostrils and part of his gulag where he actually looks like a colossus dragging what appears to be Johnny behind him. I think people think he's flexing during the scene when he walks, but to me it looks like he's swinging his arms for momentum.
well we really don't know but we r allowed to speculate. I don't really care how Johnny got sent home. A man once said "life's not fair, get a helmet" :D (Boy Meets World). No one said these challenges were fair and great. Johnny had what was coming to him n i like the heavy hitters idea, I think its creative n its all part of the game.

I think he's amping himself up. He takes two steps and realizes that Johnny can't do ****. So then he flexes, or whatever to motivate himself more. Basically saying you can't mess with me.

CT has always gotten along pretty well with Tyler. Tyler actually told CT after Gauntlet 3 how thankful and appreciative he was that CT actually treated him nicely and with respect and didn't treat or look at him any differently because he was gay like a lot of the guys on the challenges do.
I guess I just think its kinda lame an elimination is decided by a 3rd party. I like the people on the block fighting it out. I think its a cool twist I guess, but I wish they would have brought them in for a mission instead of an elimination.
Thing is..its not different elimination. Imagine CT and Tina, are the rings Brandon/Derek/Emilee/Camila fought for, the pole in pole wrestle, the puzzle in ascender... they are basically the object they have to control that night to win.

Except this pole/rings/puzzle fights back...painfully.
LOL true, but still it is still an elimination round that they have to overcome just a bit more creative. I wonder if they ever do a Cutthroat 2...who would the heavy hitters be cause there are just a few people who can top CT as a heavy hitter.
And objects (rings and pole ect.) doesn't get tired and it doesn't have a choice on which person it goes harder on. Obviously whoever goes second has a BIG advantage and if you go in and you have some bad history with one of these "Heavy hitters" well then that makes it even harder on you, which is really your own fault. With all of this said, I kinda think it's lame myself. It just seems like it's a desperate attempt at some good ratings.
I once again dont get it.. we complain "they should so something different..we want vets back..they need something get better ratings"..yet when they at least try to do something, someone finds a way to hate on it. The Challenges arent a sport..fairness has never been key in this, Battle of the Sexes 1 and 2, The Ruins are great examples of this. Its something different with CT and Tina, is it fair? Maybe yes maybe not, but its different and its being promoted very good by MTV and BMP.

I don't call it hating, I call it an opinion. Some people may like it (you and others) and some other people may dislike it (me and others). Just like some like the older 30 minute format of the Challenges and others like the new hour format. Some people like Derrick and some people think he's "boring" and should retire. Some people think Landon is the best and some people think CT is the best and some people still think Alton is the best. It's just an opinion.
So, why does Cutthroat not have a title song yet?
Because it's only the first episode and the opening credits usually start in the second episode. It's already been talked about in the premiere episode thread with a sneak peek picture of the opening credits.
Molds,
Someone said you said the grey team doesnt finish... and that its between sarah, abram, and laurel who cant finish..
In the first real trailer released it shows abram kneeling next to sarah who is on a stretcher ... is that a clip from the finals?? Does that give away who cant finish on the grey team?

I believe it's already been said that Sarah gets injured during one of the regular missions.
