For Sarah to make it to the finals 2/3 times is fairly often.
Tori 2/3 plus she won a challenge. ~ Brad 4/8 never won runner up 3 times.
Lets hope some of Tori's challenge winning magic rubs off on him, its the first time they both made it to the finals on the same team.
I would be so happy if Derrick lost. His attitude has changed a lot ever since he started winning these things. He needs a reality check.
Officially added to my hit-list.
Tomorrows the big day, hope Emilee is memorable on the episode before her departure. Derek...not expecting anything from him haha.
Is this a possiblity or am i just thinking to much. That maybe Chet was going to face Abe in the Gulag but since Chet was injured in the mission he had to forfit givine Abe the win via forfit.
You should probably just stop thinking.

You are way off!! Chet leaves way before the last mission.
Having watched Sarah on her real world season, I would have never guessed she would be one of the top people on these challenges. Her 3rd challenge and she doesn't go into a single elimination? Most likely because she's a veteran, but I would have likely sent her in over Laurel. Although, who knows how strong each is in the competitions? I'm guessing we'll see her in many more of these challenges, and she'll probably become a new Kenny, Evan, Paula, Susie, etc...where she'll be in control.
Kind of excited for Paula vs. Emily although I was hoping both would make finals. If Derrick does get eliminated, I'll be disappointed. Knowing the grey team loses the final mission, it's between blue and red. If Jenn and Emily are the only ones that represent team blue, I think it will be pretty obvious who wins.
I have the same opinion.
However, I think Emily will be another pleasant surprise of being a strong performer, so that will be refreshing to me! Jenn, well I hope she reverted back to Inferno 3 Jenn.
I think Sarah asserted herself will well on the Ruins, and had she made it to the FM Final in lieu of Jenn/Noor, they would have finished 2nd or 3rd if she didn't have a slouch of a male competitor.
Sarah not going in as I said earlier I believe is due to 2 reasons (1.) she is improving her social play among the vet cast and (2.) she is good competitor whom I think is very strong in elimination rounds.
The red team wouldn't vote in Tori, not only because of Brad, but because she just went into the three-way Gulag. That's how Paula gets put in. Emily would get sent in because Derrick would vote her in before he does it to Jenn. Derrick would have to go in because he's the only guy left. And Abram..well, I actually have heard why he gets put in so I'm gonna leave this alone for now.
Sorry for the double post, my point was that how do we know that prior to the pre Final challenge, that TJ didn't announce that each team has to volunteer 1 male and 1 female from each team to volunteer themselves to go in and the losers from the each team faced off ................i.e.
Red Female - Paula is volunteer
Blue Female- Emily is volunteer
Gray Female - Laurel is volunteer
Red Male - Dunbar volunteers
Blue team - Derrick by default
Gray Male - Abram volunteers (I could see either Abe putting himself on the block or b, Luke being a respectable enough competitor and being likable enough for the girls volunteering Abe (Luke has Fresh Meat ties with both Laurel and Cara Maria for them to volunteer Abe over him)
Gray females win, so Laurel is safe and its Paula vs Emily (thx molds 13)
Red males win, so its Derrick vs Abram..........Dunbar is safe
Paula vs Emily could, and from the trailer it makes the most sense ....... the field game challenge thing is probably something like knock off where one team has to knock the other team out of the field of play and numbers were an advantage, which if they seperated the heats by male and female.......... obviously numbers would be an advantage.
What does surprise me about Paula though is that there are Tori and Brad only account for 2 votes, which means if Paula didn't volunteer herself, then either Tyler or Dunbar did a turncoat and voted her over Tori.

ahhh i understand now, thanks for clarrifying. I don't see why that wouldn't be possible, I can see it happening.
Plus the Red team sent in Brandon 27938273 times.
Gucci Mane, good observation. I went back to the spoiler page, and saw that Brandon went in 4 times .............. that is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous that his own team would put him in that many times without any of the other cowards not going in once before he was eliminated!
Everyone on here is giving the red team praise, but how can you root for a team that does that to a person. As bad as JEK was on the Ruins, they did give Wes a reprieve, but everytime the Red team loses, Brandon is in until he is finally eliminated by Derrick according to the spoilers from molds13. what the **** is that!
I look at that team and I see Brad,Dunbar,Tyler,Tori,Paula as the team core driving all of the team's decisions. This has a bad smell. I see why Brandon has been getting high praise from many on his twitter and facebook accounts. They flat out screwed that kid.
Before this challenge starts, I can see me having problems with Red and furthermore, I can see my diminished opinion of Brad and Paula dropping even further. As I said, he's weak, a middle tier competitor, and beyond desperation for a win.
I hope Emily eliminated Paula because I feel that will be very gratifying to most viewers who long for fairness in these challenges. In addition, I hope she was betrayed by her own towards the end.

I'm unsure as to why you're questioning it.

I agree, except we already know Paula gets sent home by Emily and it seems she gets betrayed, but from what they did to Brandon, I'm not feeling any remorse for Paula, you play that kind of game, that's what happens to u. When you have an alliance please, have some strength to back it up. It's simply karma.

We don't know yet why Brandon went in that many times. I'm not saying that it WASN'T unfair, just that people seem to be making a lot of judgments about things that happened on a show they haven't seen yet. When Sarah went into the Gauntlet 5 times, it was because she was consistently her team's weakest player in missions, and the number of Gauntlets she won didn't change that fact. Just something to consider. We don't know the whole story, or really any of the story, at this point.
Just noticed that on the MTV Canada website they finally have a Cutthroat page up .. does anyone know when it will be premiering in Canada? I find sometimes there are only a couple days in the difference as to when they air in the US, but other times there is a 2 week delay.

I think October 13th at least the week after we see the premier.
On my tv guide info (i have verizon fios fyi) it say that the winning team banks 20 grand and gets a dinner so does that mean the 2 losing teams have to eat like pbj for dinner
Wait, it hasn't been confirmed that Paula loses to Emily right.
The spoiler only said that the last female gulag was Paula vs Emily.
I suggest reading the spoiler thread in its entirety. You will see that every single elimination is written the same way.

I hear you on the fact that he may have been considered the weakest player, but I'm not buying that brand especially when you look at the team composite and the type of team oriented challenges shown in the previews. If Brandon was such a poor performer, there is no way Red would have won any of the missions. They Red team won the most missions.
This looks like the same pattern that has been established of late in these challenges, which in my opinion hurts the ratings. I still expect the chief architects to be Brad (who is just plain pathetic), Paula, Dunbar, and Tyler. Of course Tori sides with Brad, but I just cant see Tori not having a conscious about this. You never know.
As for Paula being the last female elimination, that in itself will be worth the WHOLE season for me. I wasn't sure prior to you vevmoers enlighting me to this.
A double bonus is Johnny & Derrick's departure although they may have played a cleaner game this time.
A triple bonus would be Dunbar betraying Paula during the last selection
i just hope they at least invite Brandon back to the reunion to get his take on how they screwed him!

I'm kinda bad with past seasons, but wasn't Tori one of the people who continuously threw Jillian into eliminations? I actually remember her being pretty vocal about it too. Could be thinking of something else though.
Can't wait for tonight's episode. I'm really interested in seeing the cast's reaction to Camilla and seeing her in the first elimination. Although I didn't think I would like her because of how she got on, I usually like the underdogs that are put into a few eliminations. So I'm expecting to like her and Brandon. Seeing as Emily is the only person in the finals that went into more than one elimination (at least I think anyway???) I think I'll enjoy watching her this season too.

No, on Gauntlet 3, the opposing team choose 1 opponent and the other team choose the second opponent from the same team to compete. The Rookie team agreed from the outset that whoever was selected by the other team got to choose their opponent. 1st & 2nd female gauntlet, the vets chose Jillian, and she got to pick her opponent both times. The 3rd female gauntlet, they chose Janelle and Janelle chose Jillian to go against. Melinda was going to choose Jillian in the 4th one but because Tori forced MJ vs Frank, Frank voted in Tori the following time.
I just don't see Tori not feeling slighthy dismayed by Brandon going in 4x, but who knows................. perhaps Brad is pulling the strings and she is just whatever with no concern for no one.
Regardless, Brandon being sent in 4 times is absolutely pathetic.

I like how the Blue team got screwed over too. Amazing !! Bringing in CT to take out Johnny basically and forcing Derrick to beat two male teams by himself or go to the Gulag.... Good stuff

Well Jillian went in three times, the first female Gauntlets. The first two the Vets picked her to go in, then for the third one Janelle wanted to go against Jillian. All Tori did was stand up for Janelle getting her wish because that's what the Rookies decided on beforehand. This caused Frank to flip out on Tori for no reason except that he's boring and was upset.
Just about 8 more hours, I can't wait. I always like the first episode because the cast is just having fun, but then it gets intense right from the get go. I wonder how the cast is gonna react to Camila winning the first elimination, and I'm sure Derek vs. Brandon will be interesting to watch too.
This is gonna sound odd, but does anybody else not like the elimination arena already? I'm just not feeling the whole black...stuff they're competing on lol. Guess I'm just used to them always doing it on sand.

On the Duel 2 Tori say she wasn't happy going with Brad's alliance because all her friends were being sent home, but that she had to stick with Brad

True,
Nevertheless I am very high on this season and I hope it will provide the total mix. It will be refreshing to see Abram and Tori on the same challenge since Road Rules. I am a little curious if they will interact. Tori is so scared of violent people ................. "Abram frighened me" ...... " You hoo, I'm glad it's not a physical Duel because Aneesa scares me" ....
I like Tori, but she is too fierce a competitor to make mushy comments like that!
I hope Derrick is not the last male eliminated, so that everyone who is so sure is wrong.
I'm confused...do you want Derrick to stay because you like him, or because you want to see everybody be made a fool of? Lol
And the daily today with Tori consoling Camila really makes me want to see how they both react to Camila being sent in and how big a role Tori played in it.
