I think one of the ealier seasons, maybe LA, filmed through mid-december but the cast went home over Thanksgiving and went on a trip right before or right after that break. Seems to me it was whichever season it was that had the guy from Ireland.
Yes, Hollywood filmed into December. I think their final comedy show was December 5th at the Improv. Brooklyn went into mid November.

I am pretty sure Brooklyn was supposed to film into mid December with a Thanksgiving break but they wrapped early because of Ryan's recall.
This is a bonus to those that are fans of the show and might have doubts about the locatoin:
To Whom It May Concern,
I'm contacting you on behalf of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas in regards to your post about The Real World filming at the hotel. We ask kindly that you please remove the screenshot and mention of the show that was re-tweeted in error from the Hard Rock Twitter account. This information has not been confirmed. We hope that you cooperate with our request and that further legal action will not need to be taken.
Thank You.
You have to know when you threaten "further legal action" that it will make the forums.
That said, this doesn't rise to the level of a new thread. I am waiting for that, but I promise to share.

I am no rocket scientist, but sounds to me like "Opps, we broke our contract with BMP by tweeting about this and they are threatening to pull out and/or sue us, so we are going to blame you for our mistake. VEVMO, J'ACCUSE!"

I feel that is the angle.
No matter. This is a pertinent news story and we are reporting it. We will not be silenced by frivolous lawsuits. Honestly, I am waiting for one to be filed as I bet I can throw more paper.
The only reason I posted the message is because big companies think that they can threaten small publishers and websites like Vevmo and get away with it.
The law is not on their side. We are allowed to report the entertainment news we get and we will not give in to their attacks.
It's a scare tactic in hopes you know nothing about the law and just blindly remove it.
Exactly.
Then they go to their backup plan.
Honestly, I am fed up with being threatened by media conglomerates and now hotels.
How about you guys just get your **** together?
I was nice. Now I am emboldened.
If I would have received an email saying, "Hey, you got us, can you hold the story?"
I would have thought about it. Let them do a press release. That is fair. I am not a journalist. Just a fan.
Legal threats? You now have an enemy.

Look out BMP, Bacchus is on the run call the police lol
But its not our fault that we know what we know when its people they work with giving stuff away.

The story itself is fair game IMO and there is absolutely nothing they can do about it because they put it out there. Further they do not deny its true. It is a little stickier IMO if it comes to using any of their images that they have created. Fair use is ripe for litigation in the internet age, not to mention what constitutes "press" on the web. The tension between intellectual property law and the internet is powerful enough to implode the universe I think.

Ding Ding Ding. I think you hit the nail right on the head. I love how I completely understand what you're saying thanks to the IP class I'm taking :D
Well, whether or not the tweet screenshots go down, the word is out and people are going to know and find out now. It's not like taking the screen shots down will make us forget or make the info vanish from the internet. So unless MTV/BMP decide to withdraw from Las Vegas, Real World fans across the nation know that this upcoming season is taking place in Vegas. (Not to mention this info went public with Reality Blurred already).
Besides, what legal actions can they take? It IS fair game because they f'd up first by tweeting it when they shouldn't have. That's their bad, not Vevmo's.

This is what the letter boils down to: They're threatening to sue you because you posted a screenshot of...some random third party's Website (i.e., Twitter).
Riiiight...
If anyone has rights to that image besides you, it's Twitter; its certainly not the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Literally, you're just quoting something they said, and you're doing it with 100% accuracy.
Did that letter come from a lawfirm? Because it sounds like it was written by the guy who hit Retweet.
It seems like they're going to be filming over halloween and thanksgiving... have either of those ever happened before?
I remember during The real world Key West **** they should have shown show, they showed how they all were eating Thanksgiving dinner together and giving thanks.
I don't think you can claim to own the rights to a tweet screenshot, at least not with a straight face. I was thinking more of the picture of the hotel on the rolling link thingy on the mainpage of this site. I think that is a little stickier if that is some photograph that they created.

"Hide your husband, hide you wife, hide your kids, cause they messing with everybody out here."
There is no way another Vegas will do better than the first unless some cast members get tangled up with the mob while others are forced to work for CSI. I think it a bad choice to play up drunken irresponsibility in an over the top city when the economy is doing so poorly for most of the would be viewers.

Why normally I agree since when does, if ever, morality and economics play a part in watching the Real World? Not to say you're wrong or anything, Sean.

Vegas has certainly been keen to that image issue since the economy tanked and has been trying to play itself as much more family friendly. Isn't there also some other show already being filmed there--something about Rehab @ The Hard Rock? That would be a content nightmare for the two casts to meet poolside, especially if a fight broke out (not sure how much cast Rehab has as I have never seen it for more than 30 seconds).
I don't think it is the partying so much as it would be that whole Vegas atmosphere that people would take issue with. New Orleans is a party city but it is also a ruined city. Wouldn't expect to see the cast out much in Vegas helping others or doing anything else the Vegas I cast did.
